They are horrible if you need to get a hold of them right away and not wait 24 hours for the message reply. I am now on day 3 of being on hold for over and hour and having to hang up because I am at work! I had Colorado Medicaid during the COVID Shutdown and it's active because per Colorado DHS, we are still in the emergency phase of Covid. I let Alto know this yet they keep everytime I add my medicine and it's ready for delivery, they put it back again into a medicaid pre authorization. 2 Days ago I was able to do a cancellation for medicaid, sent Alto this though messages on their website, since they do not have any email address listed to contact them. I have now been waiting a day and on hold, 22 PEOPLE IN FRONT OF ME! WITHOUT MY MEDICINE FOR OVER A MONTH DUE TO THIS. GO BACK TO YOUR LOCAL PHARMACY! Alex reached out promptly after my review. I will update today or tomorrow if this is rectified as promised below. I hate that it came to an online review to get action, but my health and job have been in jeopardy! Amazing service. I switched from the big box nightmare Walgreens because of billing issue and the worst service ever! I fought with Walgreens for 8 months over getting the secondary billing issues corrected. Shocking, they never did. That's when I found Alto! They had no issues with the billing of my secondary insurance. Well, the first order there has issues, not very very quickly resolved it! The super nice delivery drivers are amazing! Mail order is so convenient but the wait times can be rough and I don't love having creams in the heat/cold while shipping. This was an amazing experience. My local pharmacy sold to a big company and moved, and it's no longer convenient. I've been going to one of the mega-pharmacies instead (starts with a W) and I thought "wow... this is expensive, and I always wait at least 10 minutes in line - maybe it's time to find another option." I checked out Yelp and found Alto, and I'm glad I did. The process of transferring from my existing pharmacy was effortless - I just gave Alto their information through the app and asked them to transfer everything, and they handled it from there. In their app, you just load in a pic of your insurance card, load in your credit card/debit card/HSA card/etc. and they just charge your scripts to the card on file. You take a pic of your ID and load it in so they don't need to ask for it. Everything is seamless and handled online. They even have a really responsive chat feature through the app, and they respond within a matter of minutes. The best part is their free delivery - you can get your scripts delivered to your home or work, free of charge. Their delivery range is huge - they go all the way to Boulder, Aurora, etc. I stopped in to pick up my Rx and they packaged it up with a chewy caramel. Nice touch. The pharmacist was extremely friendly, too. A medication that cost me $50 with my insurance at the big W pharmacy cost me $6 with my insurance at Alto. Check them out. This place rocks. read more

There's a national shortage of one of my medications. That's not Alto's fault. What is Alto's fault is that they keep scheduling deliveries of that medication and cancelling one hour before the window. So not only have I not had my medication for, now two months, I have altered a bunch of plans so that I'm home during their delivery windows only to have them cancel at the last minute. As a service you're basically getting the treatment you get from any faceless tech company. Instead of having a human that you can just call you have 24 hour delays to get useless answers in a text chat from customer service. Having my next script filled elsewhere. read more

Was the greatest pharmacy and now every aspect of this pharmacy is falling down the drain, from leaving you on hold from 5-7pm so that they can just disconnect you. Happens daily. The messaging staff leaves the most confusing messages as if they have no clue what is happening themselves. I am told prescriptions were delivered. No deliveries here, yet THEN the message states, we are out of the medication!! Why did you not tell my physician that when they placed the order... so 48 hours later, where is my prescription with my inhaler and my antibiotic, not here! I ordered my medication a week ago - they didn't overnight it until Tuesday - and Fed Ex has still failed to deliver it. I've been asking for assistance since Wednesday or other options - but they won't help me get my meds fulfilled any other way. If I don't start taking my meds by tomorrow morning my medical procedure is going to fail and Alto will have cost me over $15,000. Very disappointed in the sudden DRASTIC increase in the cash price of my medication. Last month I paid $54 for a 30 day supply. Today I tried to refill my medication. Same prescription. Alto is great if they could get there couriers a accurate Navigators or a map or instructions how to navigate with a mapl And instructions on the map with a red line to follow I find they can't believe the navigators are wrong. If I was given a map and a red line too follow on Tough finds that the navigators goofs up you wouldn't have customers like me that have to get in my car and run them down. They changed from using FedEx for delivery over to USPS. Their refill software still says it will be delivered by FedEx. I waited ALL DAY for the Rx to arrive, as they require a signature. It never came. Found out they sent it via USPS. USPS will NOT deliver to the house. I had to take off from work and drive 32 miles round trip to go and pickup my medicine the next day. Have transferred all my Rx's to another pharmacy and no longer have this issue. Goodbye Alto. read more

Normally I wouldn't white a review on a pharmacy, but Alto is honestly amazing and goes above and beyond. Working with them on my initial order was so easy.. they are responsive- even got replies at 10pm and by far best prices (compared over a dozen pharmacies due to the price of fertility medication). Found out today at 4:30pm that I was one dose short of my medication I needed first thing tomorrow morning- they made it happen same day, even delivered. Terrible. Twice in a row, a set of medications (each costing over $2k and very time sensitive) were delivered to the wrong place. After the first mistake, I contacted Alto and let them know it was incorrect but I had tracked it down -- and please make sure the courier knows the difference in street names. THE WORST. Alto waited 5 days to fill travel prescriptions only to then tell me an hour before they were supposed to arrive that they didn't have enough of the medication on hand. This is after they assured me the day before that there would not be issues and not to fill at another pharmacy.
