This was my favorite little restaurant I visited during my 3 days in Lisbon. Seating is limited, so there may be a wait, but the food is excellent quality. For some reason this place barely has any reviews on Yelp, but it is very popular on other platforms, and, I think, for good reason. In terms of food, we had the ham and cheese plate, the potato fries, and bread on the side. Everything was amazing, and the bread notably tasted like it came straight from the oven. We ordered a liter of Sangria to top it off. This place delivers on quality more than anything. The atmosphere is cute and there is a lot of window seating, but there are in total maybe seven tables. In terms of pricing, there are better deals around, but the overall quality and preparation of the bread, cheese, and ham that we had was better than expected. To sum it up, I would come back here if I'm in Lisbon sometime in the future.

What a WONDERFUL little gem! The owner and his brother are such kind and hardworking individuals. For such a small space, we were truly blown away by the quality of food they were able to produce. We had the red sangria, the calamari, the chorizo, the fries, the chicken quesadilla, and the chicken satay. Honestly each dish was fantastic and we left the restaurant feeling very happy.

Not much to look at, very small, but food was really great, staff was very nice (family from São Tomé y Principe).

A funky rooftop restaurant with extraordinary views and a vibrant feel…read more This place ended up costing us the most on our whole trip. The entrees were on the pricier side, which is something we didn't realize until the end of the trip - when we've had better food, better experience for a more feasible price. The entrees were smaller and less flavorful than we expected. Our bill was also a big one cause of drinks. We ordered: Crispy polenta and cheese balls Razor clams and new potatoes salad with greek yogurt, roasted peppers and cucumbers Game corn dogs with wild-berries fresh sauce and mustard leaves Entrees: we ordered duck, codfish, octopus and a steak dish where no one really enjoyed it... sidenote: I know Codfish is a very popular dish in Portugal - if you don't like that fishy/seawater/fresh-out-of-the-sea taste, you might not like it in Lisbon My friends didn't like the fish and the duck. Gin Fizz was good, as well as the Rosé (we probably ordered like 8 Gin Fizzes - they were that good) -takes CC, Wifi, great view What I recommend - go there for a drink and apps. I think their entrees were disappointing but apps and drinks were great

Before coming to Lisbon, I did a little research on where to find views of the 25 de Abril bridge…read more Rio Maravilha happened to show up as one of the top places for the best views. An experience that I was hoping to capture was unexpectedly shut down. Unfortunately, due to inclement weather, the rooftop was closed to the public. Still an order of cocktails were placed with the attentive server. Shortly thereafter, the tequila based cocktail and a chocolate cocktail were brought to the table. Both drinks were good with two different flavor profiles. The chocolate cocktail with a subtle hint of coffee reminded me of a dessert which could be ideal as a digestif. It also came with a chocolate twig which made the drink a little extra fun. As for the other cocktail, well I'm sure you know how it goes with tequila :) Both drinks cost about $27 USD which was a wee bit more than I anticipated to spend. However, if you could enjoy the views from the rooftop while sipping away a cocktail or two, it will be worth it. Finding this place was also a little tricky. I had to ask the locals to help locate this place. If you're having trouble getting here, be sure to ask the locals.

It is kind of funny, for how incredibly otherwise interesting Lisbon is as a city, foodie-wise,…read morethat it definitely doesn't have much of a craft *cocktail* scene, and what it does have, is hidden in plain sight, whether as a pizza shop (the other surprisingly good actually-a-cocktail-bar I found), or in this case more literally, as a brothel turned tourist trap-looking bar that actually does have quite good cocktails. Admittedly - it was clearly designed so that it could function at night, when my hunch is that it's more likely to be an absolute madhouse, and it probably a bit feels more like a nightclub. Good thing for me, then, that they're open, and I visited, at 2 PM on a Friday, when they only had a few customers, my favorite sort of vibe for a bar. Yes, they do have extremely suggestively murals up all over the place, because they're committed to the bit (committed enough that if it turned out they were actually also a secret brothel to this day, I'd be like... yeah, that'd track. To my knowledge they are in fact just a bar, though.) But at least when they aren't busy, it is *also* one of the small number of proper craft cocktail bars I found in Lisbon while I was there. Their cocktails were 12-14 euro as of when I was there a few months ago - which a couple years ago would've felt a little pricey, but now feels pretty par for the course. The menu cocktails were mostly all prebatched, but have clearly been prebatched freshly and with *purpose*, as the two cocktails I tried here were *quite* good. One with gin, roobois, ancho reyes and yellow pepper, and one, I was excited to finally see, using Beirao in something more interesting than just tonics or spritzes, with pisco, Beirao, pineaple and eucalyptus. Great presentation, great drinks, and again at least as of when they were least busy, quick service (as you would expect, given that, again, it is mostly prebatched.) That said, if like me, you only speak English, ymmv - the one bartender when I was there spoke English like a native English speaker. Great bartender, too. Then he left and another bartender took over, who spoke zero English whatsoever. As it turns out, you also don't need to speak the same language to order a drink off a menu and then pay for it, though, but it is still *nice* speaking the same language as the bartender.

Brothel turned bar/burlesque venue? Right above Pink Street. Our waiter was incredibly well-versed…read morein cocktails and delivered a short vignette regarding each drink that we decided to order. Each came with its own accoutrement, from nougat cookies to shortbread. Highly recommend.
