Very happy with the alteration they did on my favorite yoga pants! Alterations To Go altered my stretchy Adidas yoga pants so that they fit me after I lost weight. Those who know sewing should know it's not easy to alter stretchy gym wear, so I didn't attempt at home. The woman at the front measured me and pinned before getting stared. They charged a competitive fee and had them finished within a week. The alteration was clean and the seams lined up perfectly. Will definitely be back with other clothing that needs tailoring. Thanks again!

Always gets my alterations perfect. I always need a hemmed pair of jeans and this is the place. Even had a skirt altered to fit my waist.

Prices are very reasonable and it was such a quick turnaround to get my pants hemmed. Thank you! I'll be back :)

Terrible experience. Ruined clothing and overcharged me. Extremely poor quality work.

Ask the Community - Alterations To Go

Are they open for curb side pick up?

Is this place closed due to covid-19?

Yes and unfortunately, without calling customers and giving them a chance to pick up their things. They have a sign in the window that they would open April 6, but I've gone several times this week and they aren't open.

I had a formal dress that needed to be taken in at the waist and up at the shoulder straps; each job costed $20.

I am writing this review in response to the owner's way of handling our issue. My wife and I…read morebrought in our comforter to get it dry cleaned. As first-time customers, we decided to trust Green Leaf Cleaners because the owner was very confident and experienced in his work. We disclosed that the comforter required delicate care, as it was made with silk, to which he stated he handles delicate materials all the time. To our surprise, after we had picked up the item and brought it home, we inspected three holes about one inch long on certain areas of the cover where there were "flowers" stitched on, as well as several smaller sized holes. I understand that as a business owner, you must protect yourself by not admitting fault when we brought to your attention that your machines may have caused damage to our item. We could have demanded the current market value of the comforter as compensation, which is $500, but chose not to. Instead of taking accountability, you denied our allegations and instead offered to repair the holes as a "courtesy" because we showed up as first-time customers, as if you were doing us a favor. With our intention of showing you the damage, not only the big holes but also the smaller-sized ones, you portrayed a negative attitude by chuckling and shaking your head when we were pointing out the small holes. With that behavior, we believed that we couldn't entrust you to repair our comforter anymore. We appreciate that in the end you agreed to give us a partial refund of $50. However, you first said that (1) you didn't have cash and (2) you needed to contact the credit card company to issue the refund, as you didn't know how to, therefore asking us to return in a day or two. We asked for it in writing for reassurance. I suppose you didn't like the idea because you ended up handing us $50 in cash. I have respect for what you do as a small business owner, working tirelessly on so many items every day. It's not easy work, and I can tell you take pride in what you do. However, I suggest that you work on your integrity and take personal responsibility, having money-back guaranteed policies for your business, and most importantly evaluating your empathy and customer service. To customers out there: take pictures of your item before you bring it to this business, and be prepared that they will only partially compensate if your item incurs damages.

Last year, I brought my Burberry hoodie to Green Live Cleaners. When I went to pick it up, they…read morecouldn't find it and kept delaying for more than three weeks. When it finally came to discussing compensation, the owner said they would only pay $100-200. This is outrageous, considering the hoodie cost me over $900. Instead of taking responsibility, the owner even threatened to call the police on me, saying I was "disturbing" their business, when all I wanted was a fair solution. Since they refused to resolve it, I filed a Small Claims Court case. Nearly a year later, the judge ruled in my favor and awarded me the compensation I deserved. This whole experience was extremely stressful and unprofessional. If you ever face a similar situation, don't be afraid to stand up for yourself--take it to Small Claims Court and let the law protect your rights. Avoid this place at all costs.

They do send the stuff out to be altered by a local woman, which is fine by me, but I know some people prefer it to be done on site. They also have dry cleaning, which I did not use so can't speak to. But again if looking for basically alterations. It's a good spot.

I just found out that the $15 I paid for a white pants to be altered shorter was not done. I only…read moresaw it today because I wanted to wear it. The problem is too much turn over of employees. The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. Nobody is accountable for the error. My advise is make sure to get the name of the person who handled your clothes and let them sign in your records that they understood what the clothes are for- whether for alteration or you've instructed them to make sure that the pleats should be kept and not be ironed flat to remove the pleats. My experience there was a nightmare. They said they didn't charge me for the error they did but nothing was reversed in my credit card. The total of $88 for Dry cleaning is expensive and you've paid them to ruin your clothes and I paid for alteration and nothing was done. The length of the pants was the same length when I brought it to them. The people there are irresponsible and careless. They think it's just a matter of getting the clothes and charging the customers.
