I have a small waist and bigger hips, so it's hard to find items (especially shorts) that fit me well in both areas. She has custom tailored 4 pairs of shorts for me, and they fit me perfectly. I was leaving in two days for our wedding and needed a quick fix. The owner was there and eager to help. I needed them asap since I was leaving the following day to Portland, and she didn't even charge me for "emergency." I brought in an intimidating project...a denim vest that needed 48 patches, yes 48, sewn onto it. All the patches were positioned with a bit of adhesive to hold their spot. Not only did she work with me on the price, they did amazing work!! I had no emergency schedule, just just that I needed it by the end of September. The project came out perfect!! I got an elastic band on pants repaired and 2 sun dresses hemmed. It cost $72. The seamstress was very nice. But it's very expensive and the work was not done well. The dresses weren't hemmed the right way and now they flip up so I have to iron them before every use. Had she done a double seam at the bottom like they had been before the alterations, I wouldn't have to do that. It's also a very delicate fabric so it won't tolerate the heat. The pants were noticeably repaired and I should have just done it myself. She said there was fabric missing but I didn't remove any fabric. I'm super bummed because all of the other review on this place were very good. read more

My family has been using this business for years to have alterations done. Always pleased with the results. I hadnt needed to use her service for a few years until recently when I needed to have my wedding gown taken in a week before my wedding. She pinned me up in 10-15 minutes. When the day came on which I needed to have it back, I was so busy that I forgot to go by before she closed. I called her cell which was provided to me along with the main business line, and she confirmed she had left for the day and was getting ready to eat dinner. She asked when I was leaving the next day and I nervously told her six in the morning... She asked me to meet her at the shop in an hour and I could pick up my dress!! My fiance and I were very happy that she was so considerate. On top of it all, the dress was PERFECT. When i tried it on, instantly it went from looking like a $900 gown to a $2000 gown because of the new shape and the features she added to it like eyelits for bustle, etc. I want to thank her for coming to my rescue and making the dress for my special day all that i dreamed:) read more

Fantastic work! This woman was the kindest woman. I broke the zipper on my work pants (a uniform that I have to wear everyday) and she stayed late so that I could bring in my pants once I got off work. I had to have them done by the next afternoon to wear them again and she got them done within a half hour! She saved me from having to buy and alter all new pants!
