They ruined a dress I was supposed to wear for a wedding. They altered the dress in places we did not discuss. It is very sloppy, stitches are everywhere, fabric was pieced in, none of the lines are straight, and strings everywhere. Have to take it to another tailor to be fixed. There are rips and holes. I'd give a zero if I could. they ruined my daughters prom dress- the hem was uneven and shoddy seeing and they ironed it too hot and discolored the entire side of her dress and we had to get a new dress and accessories the day of prom! They would not cover the cost of the dress they destroyed. They were incredibly rude and unprofessional! read more

They fixed my Brazilian Jujitsu Gi. Amazing job. Can't even tell it was altered. The stitching matched perfectly.

They were great and very reasonably priced!! I needed a strange alteration for 3 of my dogs toys. I had her remove the zipper and replace it with snaps for each one. The snaps had to be sewn by hand and she put in 5-6 snaps for each one. I could tell that she felt bad for charging me $60 for all 3. That's only $20 each and it definitely took almost an hour, or more, to do each one. That's a GREAT price and they are a small, women owned business. I highly recommend them!!! read more

Alteration Station Did a great job fixing/sewing the sleeve on my husband's shirt. Perfect fix.

BRIDES MUST READ THIS REVIEW. DO NOT GO HERE FOR ALTERATIONS. I recently had the worst experience I could have imagined at Alteration Station in regards to my wedding dress. After previously seeing her work on a friend's bridesmaid dress, I decided to do business with Ophelia in order to save several hundred dollars on *very simple* alterations on my dress. After close to two months, I arrived to try on my dress and everything was wrong. I thought that something was wrong with me when I tried on my dress and didn't fit the way that it did when I dropped it off. Ophelia cut the straps on my dress THREE INCHES too short....therefore the entire dress shifted and it did not fit right (upon trying it on with the correct strap length, it fits perfectly). She also used the poorest quality elastic to fix the buttons. In addition, the hem was extremely uneven and looked like a "pie crust" throughout and the under layers of the dress looked as though she simply took scissors and haphazardly chopped layers off. To make matters worse, because the dress didn't fit right because of HER mistake, she had the audacity to accuse me of gaining a ton of weight. Not only did she do a terrible job with altering my dress BUT she was incredibly rude and made this bride-to-be feel AWFUL. Took the dress to another location to have it FIXED since it fits perfectly without all of the mistakes and the woman said the "alterations" are some of the worst that she has ever seen. Now I need to get different wedding shoes to make up for the extremely short hem as well. My MIL tried to call to get a refund since the job was not done well at all and Ophelia refused and hung up on her. Save yourself the money and the heartache and don't go to Ophelia for alterations on anything of significant value. read more

PLEASE READ. Before thinking of going to take anything to this place don't. The lady was so rude and over charged me. I brought a couple items there to get altered and when I came to pick my items up everything seemed fine until I wore the pair of pants I brought to her once and the TERRIBLE messy sewing job she did fell out. I brought them back to get fixed she said I'll have them done by the next day, come back. So i came back the next day and her and another lady were sitting out in the front room eating food and said sorry they're not done. So she sat there and had a good old time with her friend eating food, while my pants weren't done. Absolutely terrible customer service. I will never go back there again. read more

I went to get my bridesmaid dress altered on April 5 (The straps were too big). Ophelia (The owner) said it would be an easy fix so she pushed me in front of another customer who's alteration would be more complicated, pinned my dress (it was $20 which isn't bad) and I was on my way. She was a very sweet lady. So I went today to pick my dress up (The date we agreed on) and she said "I have been sick it is not done." I am a pretty forgiving person which is why I am giving four stars and not any less but of course If I go tomorrow and it is not done I will change my review-the wedding is on Saturday! I WOULD recommend her just make sure you bring your stuff in early and give her time to do it. read more
