I found parallel parking right in front on the store, I'm sure there's a lot close by if parallel parking isn't your thing. The store is narrow but they have made excellent use of the space. There are tons of comics, books, action figures and even a small selection of reasonably priced vinyl records. The employee was talking to a younger comic book fan while I was there, suggesting what to read and characters he might like. I could tell the employee had a real passion for what he was doing, it was very nice. I'm glad I made the trip to Baytown, it's a really cool store.

I've been here several times and will keep coming back. Nice to have a decent comic/gaming shop in Baytown that isn't that other one.

Was really impressed by the amount of tables available to sit down and find someone to play. The bar was even cooler and I'm sure gets used quite a bit on tournament days. I brought my friend who is a big anime lover and the moment we went inside, his face lit up like a small boy in a toy store...i mean it's not that far fetched lol! he instantly left my side and i knew this place was definitely a comeback! i am not sure of what all he seen but i took pictures of my favorite things i was very interested in! ESPECIALLY the Heavy Metal vintage 1970 comic books. I'm sure the value of those magazines where literally a lot of in one of the employees opinions, "PRICELESS." I agree.LIKE WHAAAAAT! only had three because one donor donated loads of things and these were the only comics they donated, so if you have some old comics lying around, come to Misfit Toys and donate them, i would love to take them off of you! my favorite thing about this store (besides the comics) was the figures. The Simpsons was such a vibeeee! I literally wanted all of them and the backdrops! Also, the Michael Myers collectors doll with all the matching pieces....would be the perfect gift for anyone who is an obsessed fan of Halloween or just horror genre in general. I also loved the arcade game machine in the front right before you open the door :) such a throwback 80s/90s feel! Not sure what game is on the Arcade machine, but it works perfectly! I hope my pictures do justice, I can always upload the rest I have but here's a few :) It's so much more inside that I'm pretty sure i missed, but from The X-Files to Star Wars and even HUGE Transformers toys, it was so much that caught my eye, I can't keep up! experience Misfit Toys at least once! You won't regret it!

The community is very open and inviting (and you don't have to worry about Gamer Funk...if you smell what I mean lol). The community at this store is non-cliquey, unlike most stores in Houston. Meaning, if you don't play game A or B, then you are ignored. Not at Board and Brew; they are welcoming for everyone and the crowd regularly try each others games out.
