Our primary contact at Granite Bay Plumbing is Amber Bloom. Most of our plumbing supplies were sourced from GBP with a lot of guidance from Ken & Amber. We completely remodeled our 3 bathrooms including the Master Bathroom and the Kitchen. Each room was gutted to the stud walls. Although we remodeled an older home in Pasadena 20 years earlier building & building product knowledge is not our strength. Products purchased ranged from bathroom & kitchen higher end faucets , sinks, shower components ( including elegant & functional grab bars for people our age who may well need them sooner than later ) , pop down sink drains , air activated disposal switches etc. Every product was color coordinated to the needs of the customer. A complete remodel requires a lot of coordination and GBP was there for us . We were kept informed of any back orders or supplier errors . Amber was very involved with any hiccups and kept our GC & the home owners fully informed about action plans to resolve any supply gaps. Granite Bay Plumbing sell higher end plumbing products and , as such, they serve perhaps more discerning customers. They make every effort to ensure total customer satisfaction even if the customer has a change of mind on a few items from what was originally ordered. We had such a situation with our 2 kitchen air activated disposer switches . We preferred one look over another and Amber worked with her supplier to get us what we wanted and we are very appreciative of her extra efforts. Associates work seamlessly at the store to ensure the customer has a great experience. They are informative and very polite . This is so important for customers who need a lot of help & guidance to purchase the correct product for their project. First the good: Voss…read moreis the primary contact for the company. The bid was for installing tile in the guest bathtub surround. The bid was significantly lower than the competitors. It included tearing out the old tile and Sheetrock down to the studs, installing concrete backer, moisture barrier and new tile. There were a couple of unforeseen issues that came up that necessitated a couple of change orders. This is where some contractors take the opportunity to price gouge. I felt that Voss's change order prices were fair. The finished product came out great. Now for the bad: We got a quote for installing new slides on the drawers and soft close hinges on the doors in the bathroom cabinet. The drawers had to be narrowed to accommodate the slides. Then they had to be made shallower to fit over the slides. It was at that point that Voss discovered the drawers wouldn't fit due to the framing of the cabinet. The end result is that the drawers are unusable, don't work and the modifications are irrreversable. So we paid $650 for a cabinet that is unusable. We are now faced with more expense to make it right. That includes possibly having to replace the entire cabinet. I believe the cabinet project was outside of Voss's skillset. He should have anticipated some of the issues that would arise. I would rate the tile project 5 stars and the cabinet project 0 stars. I have included some photos of the cabinet.

We have trusted Galleria Kitchens and Baths for about a decade now (including kitchen, laundry and guest bath remodels, as well as other projects), and will continue to rely on their expertise and skill with any construction in our home. It is rare to find contractors who are honest, show integrity, and take deep pride in their craft. Leontin does not cut corners, and insists on doing things the right way. Nicoletta is a true gem. She has a wonderful eye for space, even in challenging layouts. Her creativity made my wife's vanity space a beautiful reality in our new bath. Nicoletta also knows her materials (marble, tile, etc.) and we've come to rely on her expertise in that area. Most notably, both Nicoletta and Leontin are simply wonderful humans.
