My wife and I had a vision for a bar cabinet; one that included a space for a mini fridge. Sure enough Brad crafted it just as we had discussed, it looks great, and I am very happy. I'm looking forward to adding my new mini fridge and using this handcrafted bar every day! I will absolutely call Brad in the future when my wife and I are looking for unique cabinetry to add to our home.

Brad paid attention to details and returned the doors to the factory that had blemishes we didn't even notice. Attached are photos of before and after.

He gutted both rooms, installed new flooring, custom cabinets with granite counter tops, new kitchen lighting plus under-cabinet lighting & accent lighting, and rewired outlets. He recommended one of his crew to rebuild a fireplace mantle. Guy has provided several other projects even after we challenged his estimates. Again, he wasn't always the cheapest. He remodeled our master bath by removing the tub, upgrading plumbing, & making a large shower with camouflaged drain. Another project was to replace the tub, install new plumbing, tiling and flooring in our Guest Bath. Aside from other small projects, Guy also continued the flooring from the kitchen, down the halls, and our dining room and den. All work was supervised or completed by Guy's son, Mark. The crews were always punctual, clean, and as quiet as possible. They were also too polite. Guy and Mark are sometimes more critical of their work than they probably should be. All labor and products used are guaranteed or warranted. No repairs or product upgrades have cost me a dime! A couple of notes: If Guy has an improved idea to yours, GO WITH GUY! Also, no contractor is as good as Guy with satisfying a couple who have different ideas and choices!

I didn't mean to wait four years, but...everything's holding up awesome. Our kitchen still looks like new and the drawers, shelves, cabinet doors, and new custom cabinetry we had added all are working just as well as the day Charles installed them. Honestly, if you look at our kitchen, you'd think we had replaced all of our cabinets, you'd never think they were simply refaced. Charles did a fantastic job and we couldn't be happier with his work, and I can attest that, at least for the first 4 years, it really holds up!

Absolutely Terrible Experience - Avoid West Pacific Cabinets…read more We made the mistake of supporting a local business, thinking it would lead to better service and communication -- instead, it turned out to be the worst decision we could've made. The entire process was a nightmare from start to finish. The project took extremely long to complete with little to no updates throughout. Communication was nearly nonexistent, and when we did get in touch, it felt like we were being brushed off or treated like an inconvenience. To make matters worse, the delivery team dropped our cabinets off the truck -- and then had the audacity to try and deliver those same damaged pieces! The installers were no better: rude, unprofessional, and clearly uninterested in doing a quality job or treating us with basic respect. We gave our trust (and a lot of money) to West Pacific Cabinets, hoping to support local -- but the result was stress, delays, and a very disappointing product. Do yourself a favor: do not waste your time or money with this company.

Carlos came to our house, on a holiday no less, and talked about what we wanted to do and provided a quote later. He was thorough, providing suggestions about how to approach a problem: framing out our decidedly builder-grade windows to tie in with the board-and-batten we wanted. And then there was the huge, floor-to-ceiling built-in-bookshelves project we wanted him to tackle with stain-grade wood. Through the whole process, from concept to completion, Carlos checked with us about what we wanted. He made changes when needed and was respectful about our wishes. Everything he did mattered to him. All his choices were thoughtful: with materials, trimming out the board and batten and windows and building the bookshelves. With the cabinet bottoms for four of the bookcases, he chose something with a nice wood grain and matched the doors up. It looks so good and now we need to respect the wood with a stain that will allow the beauty to come through. The result is something out of my dreams. Solid, classy bookshelves with some cabinets and even a couple cabinets with plexiglass doors. As Carlos said, we could drive a truck on these bookshelves now. No disrespect to the IKEA hackers, but I wanted something solid that would last a lifetime, out of real wood. Carlos custom-made the bookshelves -- no prefab cabinets. He was great with communication, both in person and by text when he was on his way for the day. He was always on time or even early. He has a great sense of humor and found us funny too, which is nice to have when you have someone working in your house for a while. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. River City Carpentry provided good quality service and a great value. Now I'm looking forward to the next step of getting our shelves stained and our board and batten and the rest of the room painted.
