    Patatas bravas

Spectacular tasty dinner. Slightly more expensive prices than elsewhere I was seeing but the quality is definitely there. Interior of the place is really clean and neat. Loved the table and lighting. Our server was so cute and kind, Kristian. We want to come back and have him again. I got the paella Valencian style and I'll never have it another way. I love this with chicken wings instead of annoying prawns that I have to skin myself. Every bit was so so tasty. I ate the whole bowl clean. The tapas were ok, the bravas had nice sauce. The tuna croquette was particularly good.

    Perfect sangria!

Absolutely incredible food and drinks. Had the best sangria and ceviche I've had in my life! And I've had tons of both. The bartender has a gift for delicious and perfect sangria and the chef's innovation and take on ceviche was astounding. I was floored when I saw sweet potato and cassava in the ceviche plate, and corn! They all worked sooooo perfectly. I wish I lived in Barcelona just to go here more often! Also had the croquetas and my kids had bolognese and simple pasta with butter and Parmesan. They loved both!

    Duck Terrine with Fig

We were on a tour group, and we were led to this restaurant for lunch on own. The restaurant was busy, but the server was quick to hand out menus to 36 people across 5 tables in the upstairs area of the restaurant. We ordered the Lobster Paella, Fried Scallops, Omelet, Calamari and Duck Terrine with Fig. Loved the paella. It was more "soupy" and less dry than the others we have tried. The duck terrine was delicious. The omelet was like a quiche, but was also good. Service was great. Loved the interiors and the location!

If you are in this part of the city, I highly recommend this restaurant. First, their service was excellent and very friendly. We were greeted as we walked up to the front door and led to a table straight away. The server took our drink order, then we ordered the Valencia paella for our meals. This was our first time having paella, and it was delicious! It had a nice mellow flavor and the chicken was perfectly seasoned and cooked well. The restaurant itself is small, but quaint and not overly loud. I would give this 10 thumbs up if I was all thumbs, but I will settle for 5 stars!

Sangria, Pan con Tomate, Patatas Bravas

This place was amazing! And to have stumbled upon it randomly, being as it's not a far walk from Sagrada Família, made it even more special. From the moment you walk inside, the staff was so welcoming and accommodating, having recommended Spain's must-have dishes! The patatas bravas were absolutely delicious and came with three sauces that I'm forgetting the name of hehe but we're amazing nonetheless. The pan con tomate were really good too! Nice, warm and crispy. For the paella - WOW! I'm not a seafood gal by any means, but being in Barcelona, I knew I had to try it. Del Señorito (shrimp, calamari, and mussels) was recommended to us and it was extremely on point. As far as the sangria goes, I may have to agree with the other reviews saying how it could potentially be the best sangria in BCN ;-) This place is a must-go for anyone looking to have great food with equally great service. I mean the staff even went out of their way to walk us to the taxi station down the block and help us get a ride back to our hotel safely haha NOW WHERE YOU FIND THAT?! If you're planning a trip to Barcelona definitely check this place out, you won't regret it!!!

Great place to go for lunch if you're in the area site seeing. Paella and ravioli were good and the tomato bread was great.

Nestled in an unassuming network of cobble stone lined alley ways are hidden gems worth discovering. We came looking for tapas, paella, sangria; and we found just that. Location: Plaza de España is within a 5 min walk, blocks away from shopping, and 30 minutes from the airport by way of shuttle. Used Google Maps with several sharp turns to find this local favorite. Service: the owner employs his pet Pomeranian, that follows the wait staff unconditionally. This is a no frills restaurant; grab a seat anywhere you like, and order off the menu. What we ate: Table service - pitted olives; briny and herbaceous. So delicious as an appetizer. Crisp Potatoes - served with aioli and red pepper sauce; so simple yet so comforting. Fried Calamari - can't go wrong with crispy calamari. Pork & Mushroom Paella - I know we're used to seeing seafood, but pork and mushroom with crispy rice is different, bold, and worth each bite. Sangria Blanco - I won't lie, it was heaven with the first sip, and it left me wanting more. Unlike its red cousin; white sangria is lighter and more fruit forward. So refreshing! After 18 hours of transiting; this was a delectable experience.

We were treated like locals with a warm welcome. Tables outside on the patio as well as cozy indoor seating. The house made lemon cello was a finishing treat.
