Everything is beautifully presented and they handled our large group with ease. Definitely make a reservation, especially if you've got a large group. They may not have a Michelin star, but they're as good as or better than any place I've been that has one. Basically mix up some potato salad, and egg salad, throw in a few other things, served with a couple of bread sticks Burrata - oozing with creaminess, served on a bed of the sweetest tomatoes and tasty oil. Don't miss this. Salmon Tartare - Asian inspired with soy sauce, rice and avocado mousse. Patatas Bravas - they sure do like their spicy mayo on potatoes in Barcelona....when in Rome. Courgette Flowers - I do enjoy zucchini blossoms, they were lightly tempura'd with a melted mozzarella inside. Delicious. Deep Fried Young Onions - served with Romesco sauce, these were tasty, and nicely crisp batter, but the onion was a little hard to eat as it tended to be stringy while chewing. But I just think that's how the onion is, and it's something you should eat in Barcelona. Chunks of Garlic Beef Filet - another must order dish. Perfectly medium rare, bubbling away in garlic olive oil that smells wonderful. They brought us some more tomato bread to enjoy it with. Chocolate Ice Cream - simple and enjoyed the little chocolate pearls on top. Passion Fruit Mousse - loved this dish, not too sweet. Would totally get this again Catalan French Toast - impressed how we were trying many dishes, they insisted we tried this signature dessert. Glad we did. The young lady waitperson was so friendly and we laughed as we tried to communicate with each other (she with no English and me with no Spanish). After we were stuffed to the gills, she brought us a complimentary plate of 4 pieces of olive oil cake and two glasses of a very tart brightly colored yellow liqueur that my friend said had a definite kick. When I told our waitperson that I don't drink alcohol, she brought me a glass of the same fruity base liquid sans the alcohol, which I found to be very tart and very pleasing on the palate! When I finished it, the young lady offered me more, but there was no way for me to fit anything else into my completely full satisfied belly! This place might look touristy with the menu posted at the door and its plastic covered menu inside, but the food and staff are wonderful.
