Nice restaurant. The decor was unique. A bit disappointed in the chicken and sausage paella. Rice was undercooked. The patatas brava was also pretty good. Service was okay as well and the sangria I had was pretty good and strong

If you want setting and looks Casa Lola is the place! If you want warm food made with love this is not the place. I was on my way to another restaurant and they hooked me in with a promo... tres tapas y un plato. They forgot to mention that they choose your tapas and put it in a tiny plate. Not only did the server get my order wrong two times the spaghetti I ordered was cold. Other than the cute bartender and nice setting I give this place two tumbs down.

Monitors and Sangria, both fantastic!!

Loved our dinner and and the ambiance! Waitstaff warm and wonderful:) Party of seven. Tried nachos, potatoes braves, chicken fingers, fried squid, mojitos, sangria both with and without alcohol, paella both chicken and seafood varieties. Everyone was happy, even my 7 and 8 yr olds. Fantastic meal, would definitely recommend and return.

Beautiful ambiance! The nicest staff! Feels like home :) The paella was great, especially the black seafood paella and the vegetarian paella. Very vegetarian friendly with the tapas and main courses. Definitely add Casa Lola to your Barcelona to-do list!

Delicious dessert.

Great food and drinks, but drinks are a little bit overpriced. Excellent service and great setting. Would come back!

While on a visit to Barcelona found this tucked away gem from another Yelp reviewer. Decided to…read moregive it a shot. Most places here in Barcelona prefer reservations but as we walked around town we couldn't pick a time. We settled upon an early arrival and lucky for us they had a table inside. Not very many patrons at 6:30 PM so we were immediately seated, table for two. Of course a Sangria for me and a beer for my travel buddy! Cheers. The beer had a lemon citrusy flavor and my Sangria was flavorful, both were very good. We ordered Hummus and Calamari, excellent choices, plenty to share and both were delicious. Highly recommend giving this restaurant a try. Remember service is slower than in the U.S. and our waitperson was the only one handling both inside and outside (only 3 or 4 tables outside).

My first day in Barcelona and I googled great place to eat and stumbled on this absolute gem! Service was great! They speak English BTW The staff were friendly and very helpful! The food was some of the most amazing, fresh, delicious bites I've had. I ordered from the Tapas menu so I could get a taste of more flavors. The portions were much bigger than I imagined tapas being. These were my first! They created a great desire for more! It was hard deciding what to try. They had duck risotto on the daily special menu and I wanted it, but it was a full meal and I would only get to taste that. I will definitely be going back during my two week stay here in Barcelona! Hopefully I will get to try the duck risotto! Highly recommend!!

Ziryab seemed to fit the bill, so we made plans to stop here during our first night in the city. Ziryab is located close to the Gothic Quarter, on side street. It's kind of inconspicuous from the outside, but the interior gives way to a really welcoming space. The restaurant is separated into two main areas, with an earth-tone color scheme that has a rustic, almost cave-like aesthetic. The high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows keep the dining room open and spacious. The tapas menu had a good selection, and we decided on several items: pan con tomate, sweet potato rolls, chicken cannelloni, bacon-wrapped figs, croquettes, falafel, and a charcuterie board. All the tapas were great - my favorites were the chicken cannelloni, pan con tomate, and the charcuterie board. The cannelloni especially was a standout - definitely a unique dish, and the chicken was super flavorful. We opted for dessert, and got the feta whip cheesecake - this was great as well. The combination of tang and sweet was a good finisher to our meal. Service was great - everyone was friendly and our dishes were served at a good pace. Overall, I'm glad I tried out Ziryab - the tapas were delicious and atypical of ones you find elsewhere in Barcelona. I would have no qualms returning here for another meal.

Cute place, nicely decorated- has great seating places to hang out. Staff welcoming and efficient. Food was great- needed a healthy meal- and we got it. We got the fattoush salad: was refreshing Mixed grill- had a kebab, grilled chicken, grilled beef (or lamb maybe- whatever it was, was good), and a lamb chop. Served on the classic thin bread with a side of grilled potato, onion, pepper! It was everything I needed it to be- all the meat was tender, flavorful and moist. Was also the perfect amount for 2- and we finished everything!

Both my son and I are very picky about Lebanese food having been spoiled by the excellent Lebanese in our home town Los Angeles, so we ordered with trepidation. The very first must-try dish immediately set our minds at ease: please, do yourselves a favor and order their Fatoush salad. It's done so right, juicy tangy, bursting with flavors and the pita in the salad is made into a curly flower and gives a delicious crunch. We liked the dish of garbanzo and yogurt a bit less, as it was quite heavy and lacked flavor. My son was very pleased with shish tavouk with chicken, and I loved my halloumi dish. The service was slow (as everywhere in Barcelona) but it was efficient, and our Egyptian waiter had good recommendations for everything. He was funny and personable.
