This is Definently a hidden gem!!!! The place is nice and quiet and relaxing. First off I got the shrimp ceviche. Not the best I've had but really good. For my main dish I got the fried Mojarra with white Mexican rice. It was a big fish!' It was so delicious! Fried to perfection on the outside yet so meaty and juicy in the inside. Now this is the best mojarra I've ever had. The flavor was on point!! My son got a shrimp burger and it was also such a great tasting option. Service was GREAT! Very pleasant and inviting. I live on the opposite side of the city but I'll Definently be back here. One more thing, the prices are great for the amount of food. I did walk away bloated but it was way worth it!! Oh oh oh, chips and ceviche as a starter! (Instead of chips and salsa) YUM!!!

First of all.. they give you a side of ceviche with tostadas.. instead of chips and salsas.. I was already sold with that. The ceviche was fresh and tasty. I ordered the paella and was FULL of seafood items, I had big shrimp, little shrimp, octopus, mussels and crab leg. The rice was very flavorful. It was definitely a lot that I had to take it to go. Highly recommend them!

Highly recommend this seafood restaurant in San Antonio! The fried red snapper with garlic sauce is amazing. I like to get the garlic sauce on the side. The shrimp ceviche tropical is my ultimate favorite here. You get those two dishes and I assure you will be coming back. The beef fajitas was just ok (we found the beef slices to be on the tough side). The cocktail shrimp and octopus were also very good! The service was very warm and friendly. I can't wait to come back! The ambiance was clean and I am so surprised that it is not packed. My new favorite restaurant for ceviche in San Antonio!

Seafood fiesta!! This place specializes in it. Seat yourself when you walk in. The menu was huge and overwhelming, so we asked our server for suggestions and most popular dishes. I couldn't decide between the paella or the mojarro especial. She suggested the mojarro and hubby ordered the camarones momias. First of all, they serve complimentary ceviche, green salsa, and saltines/chips. Lemme tell you, I have a very high tolerance for spice heat, and this green salsa is fire lol. Be careful when going for a dip, I literally think it's serranos that has been thrown into a food processor. Spicy, but good when mixed with other food. Camarones momias- large shrimp wrapped in bacon. Delicious! It was accompanied with rice, a slice of garlic bread, and salad. Mojarro especial- our server's fave, this plate had a whole deep fried tilapia, topped with shrimp, pieces of octopus, and diabla sauce. Originally, it came with a mild sauce, but I opted for the medium. I thoroughly enjoyed this dish! If you don't mind using a fork and gettin your fingers dirty, this dish is for you. Soaked up all the delicious goodness, with the rice, fries, salad, and garlic bread that accompanied it. My tummy was definitely full afterwards. Good food and great friendly service! We'll be back.

Great place, great service. Everyone is super friendly and kind. I got the aguas chilles and they were amazing. The portions are generous. The aqua de pina was great. The place was clean and cozy. I don't recommend the shrimp or fish tacos. The batter was not very good and I couldn't eat it. Other than that everything else was good. Totally recommend a visit here.

Chicharon de pescado and mixed ceviche.

Delicious food. Friendly and very attentive staff. Ambiance is very relaxing and the restaurant is clean. Definitely recommend this place.

Let me update this review. Went back today. Fantastic. Just, really good. Still two tortillas with the fajitas but you can ask for more lol. Service still excellent. And there was more flavor to the fajitas. I went with just chicken and shrimp and it worked for me. Very tasty.

The place was neat and clean - very upbeat as they have band during the time we visited. They have good menus for shrimp and ceviches. We had the Red Snapper and Tilapia with their homemade dip! It was really good - we like the nyarita and the diabla dip that really made difference to the food taste. Staff were so nice and accommodating. We will surely be back to try other menu.

Great food. Great staff. Located next Dunkin' donut. If you follow your GPS, you may get a sent into the shopping center next door. You get started with complimentary ceviche, salsa and tostadas (chalupa shells). The ceviche is pretty good and it makes you want more. The menu has a little bit of everything seafood. Fried, grilled, cold, hot. I ordered the shrimp fajita. I was definitely satisfied. Perfectly seasoned. They come on a bed of onions and peppers. Yum! I ate two tacos and took the rest home. My friend had the filete pescado relleno. What kind of yelper would I be if I didn't try it. She had to comply and I was like can I have some more. It was really good. It was cheesy and had a variety of seafood, including octopus. Parking is available on site, but shared. You pay at the register when done.

Octopus plate, mild spicy. Very buttery and not overcooked, spiciness was very mild.

Mexican style seafood. Delicious and great service. The waitress was attentive, and the place is nestled in a shopping center. My parents preferred this restaurant compared to El Bucanero. My father said the quantity and flavor for the price is outstanding compared to many other Mexican style seafood places.

They charge for everything, its ridiculous server asked if I needed a to go box to then add a charge to my bill . Was given 2 receipts one if I paid cash I avoided service credit card charge , another if I paid credit card they up manually changed the cost of plate, why charge an extra percentage fee to use credit card . Won't be going back there

It is a huge restaurant it felt very welcoming and within the theme of seafood with all the designs and crabs hanging on the walls... very decorative and festive. We were seated and the waitress had to be flagged down to come talk to us. She is nice also almost clueless. Till the point drinks came out and had to flag her down again for straws... we ordered the edamame and tried explaining the sauce used in the edamame is more concentrated than the boil itself... similar to Surfing crab and we would like to keep the sauce to add it to the boil. She went bringing a drinking cup? To save the sauce... ok? No problem... we ordered and I explained to her that we want an extra pound of crawfish added to the combo deal which happened... same no problem. The crab is old! It looks like it has been reboiled till the point the meat shrink... you crack it open... meat non existent... waste of money! Still no problem. This is the joy of testing new restaurants... it is not always a bingo. We finished and paid. I trusted and didn't even look at the details of the bill. Today I decided to look at my statement. I realized I am over charged. I did the calculations and yes I am overcharged... for a moment we were excited same menu as surfing crab and a bit cheaper prices. I guess they make it up somehow. Now it is either eat up the cost or sit on the phone with them to review the bill This is a lesson learned to keep the receipt and look at it in details before you pay! I am sure it was a mistake her maybe putting in the order as separate items instead of the combo adding the one pound of crawfish. Needless to say I don't think it is a customer problem... they need to be more attentive. I don't think I will ever go back

Nice interior with a patio for outdoor seatings I tried the grilled redfish with mash potato's and green beans. It was topped with shrimp and crawfish. My only criticism was it had only 2 shrimp. I called my order in 20 minutes ahead of time, only to be met with a long line and a restaurant full of people. After waiting in line, as others were placing orders, they finally rang me up for my food and informed me my food was "ready," and they were "bagging it up." There was no place to sit, so I decided to remain standing at the counter, because I was told my order was ready. Nevertheless, another 20 minutes passed while standing at the counter. As a disabled Veteran, this was extremely painful for me, and again there was nowhere to sit down. The two females at the register continued to take orders and hand out food as if I wasn't there... Finally, I stopped one of the ladies and reminded her that she told me my food was "ready." What could possibly be the hold up, I thought to myself. After she shuffled around and asked the cooks in the back about my order, they told her that they had already sent my order out to the front... SMH.. This whole time I had been standing in line, hurting, my food had been abandoned on the counter and without anyone's knowledge, supposedly. The lady explained that the wrong ticket was placed on top of my food, and that's the reason she didn't know that it was my order. She apologized and also blamed on the manager who took my order over the phone. The food had been sitting right next to her register too.... just sitting there. I absolutely do not understand why she didn't follow up with my order, once she was told it was "ready" and saw me standing there all that time. I wonder if I hadn't said anything, if I'd be still standing there being ignored. This was very uncomfortable for me and extremely upsetting, to say the least. I am not sure if I will ever return or recommend this place to anyone else. No one should be treated that way.
