Pasta Marinera

Such a good restaurant! Love the pasta marinera! Their prices are really accessible. The establishment is small though.

We decided to check this restaurant out on a Sunday. I know, I know... I expected to have to wait a longgg time but surprisingly no. We waited maybe 15-20 mins? For a party of 6. We got a booth that was surprisingly accommodating. We all got different things and they all tasted very delicious! I want to go back and try so many more different options because the family next to us ordered some delicious looking good.

We had a group of ten on New Year's Day and only had to wait about 20 minutes. Once seated the service and the food was great. Food was plentiful and service was very quick.

This was the back side of a clam or mussel. I don't know what that mold stuff is on top.

I really hate to do this but I don't know how you people can eat this. That only tells me that people around here do not know good seafood. This was straight up food poisoning. The fish meat, shrimp was chewy and old. Trash. I took a few bites and called it quits. That was enough to make my stomach hurt. To the people who left this disgusting place good ratings: y'all crazy. Close this place down!

I wish I lived in SA just for this place. I cannot recommend it enough. The food and service was awesome. I had the ceviche verde. It was perfect. Didn't need extra lime, salt, nothing. I might come back for lunch again tomorrow before I leave SA.

Amazing seafood with fresh flavors coastal seafood dishes. Unmatched ceviche and cocktails. Try the campechanas cocktail for an ocean full bite. We will be back.

Great seafood and location is very clean. Service is kind and efficient. The location is not very accessible and that's why it's 4 and not 5 stars. The caldo de camarón is my favorite!

Depending on the time of day you show up seating is almost immediate. Otherwise you're waiting quite long (it's worth it). I LOVE this spot. The appetizers are good the drinks are good the crab legs and mojarra is always perfect. Molcajete Cora is perf to share! The Nayarit sauce is out of this world and perfect with any dish! Rice is always cooked perfectly as well! Would come more often if I could!

This place is complete chaos in the most mind-blowing way. At one point I thought to myself "Am I still in America?!" English speaking? Nope. Everybody speaks Spanish. Maximum capacity? Nope. Never heard of it. The place was even packed at 3:30pm and there was no downtime for the entire 3 and a half hours we were there. More and more ppl just kept coming in. There was even a long line in the bathroom hallway. I thought ppl were waiting to use the bathroom. But they were actually waiting for a table. Any rules/formalities? Nope. Ppl eating a pizza they brought from outside. Cribs bumping every table. Lady trying to sell her table and chairs to everybody she sees. It is such a wild place for ppl watching! I felt I was eating in the middle of time square in Mexico. Yeah I know that doesn't make sense. I didn't think so either. I'm still trying to wrap my head around it. I got constant stares as I was the only non-Mexican looking person in there. See, there is an Asian girl! She got two eyes, two ears, and a nose! Crazy experience. Making sense doesn't seem to matter here. Everyone's goal is just to eat like they have been starving for the past 10 years! When in Rome, do what the Romans do. That's exactly what my friend and I did. We got ourselves margaritas and plenty of Mexican seafood. My mango margarita was delicious. The ceviche with green sauce was so fresh and spicy. Spot on! The best part was the Nayarit style shrimp. It was not like anything I've tasted before. Omg it was so addicting that we kept licking our fingers and ordered ourselves a second plate right away! Best shrimps ever! I'm so glad I came. Not to mention a random mariachi band just popped in twice and one of the mariachi old man took a instant liking at me and kept waving. I waved him back every. single. time! Superb food, one of a kind experience. BOMB.COM!!

Seafood stuffed Chimichangas for an appetizer. Absolutely delicious.

Es el típico sabor de mariscos, los mismos platillos que hay en todos los restaurantes de mariscos, no está mal, pero nada diferente

Service and food were awesome. The location needs to be a lot bigger because it was packed, for good reason.

A true gem! This is…read moremy fourth time eating here and each time they knock it out of the park! Whenever I'm in San Antonio, I have to eat here. The texture of fish is crunchy on the outside with a flaky, meaty texture on the inside . The wings are fried in a way that's just right. They are crunchy and the sauce adheres so well without making them soggy. The green beans, red beans, and wedges are great options for sides to accompany the fish and wings. It was my first time ordering from a place with this type of setup. It was so cool! I scanned my order on an iPad and open pops a locker door with my food. If you're in the mood for fried fish and wings...this place does not miss.

When I came up to the place it wasn't a sit down place to eat, but that you have to order which was confusing as there were a lot of other restaurants within the small space. There was a guy there that was picking up wing and he stated that they were the best and big pieces. So he showed me how to order. And I place my order as it was Wednesday dollar day for wings so I order wings. I had the parmesan garlic, lemon pepper. Let me tell you they were so good, the wait was too long but worth the wait. It best to order online then go pick up. The restroom were locked so that is why I gave 4 and we weren't able to speak with no one. If you need any special thing or extras please write it I. The space provided because they don't give you anything but what you order no napkin just nothing else. Enjoy and hope the you didn't forget to order anything special or extra as you won't get it.

The menu is exciting and the concept is definitely there--but unfortunately, my dining experience didn't quite live up to it. I ordered the pecan-crusted trout, which had a nice texture but lacked flavor and seasoning. The dirty rice was also underwhelming, with very little depth or seasoning, and the calamari was a bit rubbery. Overall, the food just didn't hit the mark for me. Service was also a bit inconsistent. During dinner, I found myself having to get up to grab my own salt and pepper, as well as my own place setting, which took away from the experience. That said, I did have a much better interaction the day before when my wife and I stopped by for a glass of champagne at the bar--the bartender was lovely and welcoming. On a positive note, the location is beautiful--right along the River Walk, which makes for a great ambiance and setting. I'd consider giving it another try, but hoping for more consistency in both food and service next time.

R&R is part of a hotel and since the weather was really nice, we decide to sit on the outdoor patio facing the river walk. They have a happy hour menu that runs from 3-6 pm and includes beer, wine and liquor specials and 8 small plate food options. I start off with a margarita on the rocks. When it comes out, the drink is good but could've used a bit more lime in the mix but not bad. For food, I go with the fried shrimp and catfish nuggets. When they come out, the plates are larger than expected and both come with fries. This could easily be shared with two or three people. Everything was friend to perfection, crispy on the outside, moist on the inside and seasoned well. The plates were wiped clean. I ordered a house pinot noir and it was a good. I didn't catch the brand name but would order it again. Overall, this was a great first experience at Roam & Range and will look forward to coming back to try more of the menu. Due to it's location, parking can be tricky so prep ahead.

No request for tipping Cup of Water is free, not like its competitors down the street! Fish, salmon was so fresh. Everything, the sides, rice, hush puppies, fries, shrimp, all came out pipping hot! They have a senior special but it's limited. -- You can sit outside in a nice patio covered with turf, may once have been a playground. Or sit inside, there are several dining rooms. -- You order, they give you a number pager that you put on your table, when ready, they bring it all to you along with napkins and silverware. No plastic here, so glad. There is self serve for drinks, take out containers, sauces. Prices very reasonable and you get $10 off in next visit if you join their club. Only 2 negatives: First, We were both FREEZING, walked around trying to find a warmer place. So bring a sweater. Second, wish their menu was clear about sides and what you get when you order like I got Salmon, which did not specify Teriyaki glazed, good thing we saw it online and had to ask. And it came with 2 sides, I did not know rice was one, so I ordered another rice! Easy find off Military near the mall. Free large lot , def returning with or without the discount!
