Understanding that when you come to an impound yard you may be going thru tough times as it is. Specially with this covic 19 epidemic. Life for people that arrive to this impound yard has taken a toll one way or another for the worse at least for that moment having the most valuable item removed from them. With this in mind please realize that by the time you arrive at this place you will not receive any time of care or understanding. Damages or missing personal items will go unaccounted for and good luck attempting to discuss any fees or special arrangements with anyone there. Document and photograph any items any damages as proof for she said he said won't cut it here. From the drivers not handling vehicles with care to unspoken complaints .Best of luck if you ended up here for some reason let it be your last time and trust me you'll see why. Summary; Worse customer service, worse handling of vehicles impounded and property in it. Watch yourself and posted signs so you won't end up here. Good luck and remember all OPG's are govern and monitor by the POLICE COMMISSIONER OFFICE file your complaints with them instead. God bless. read more

I got lock out of my car call, them they came in 30 minutes!!! and charge me a very reasonable price (half) of what another place was charging me. I recommend this and I will call them again I need a service from them without a doubt read more

Saw your tow truck with extremely long horizontal spikes on the sides of the front wheels. You may be under the false impression that you are some kind of mad max and that it looks cool, but I and everyone else I know, think its an unnecessary danger! read more

I had a unique dilemma that required more than just a tow - my car was stuck without power down at the end of a very narrow driveway. To make matters worse, it's an electric car and before the power died, it still had the parking brake engaged. So, it was a gdidn'tiant brick at the end of my narrow driveway with a gate too narrow for even the smallest tow truck to fit through. BMW Roadside Assistance sent two other tow companies out and they each lacked proper equipment or even working solutions to my problem. Thankfully the BMW Case Manager I was working with then contacted the dealership near me and was recommended Al's Tow which they regularly work with. From the moment that Jesse C. drove up I could tell I was in good hands. I gave him the rundown on what had happened - He looked at the car with confidence and said, "not a problem - we can do this." Jesse had the knowledge, the tools, and the talent to get the job done. While he made the job seem effortless, he put an enormous amount of effort into taking great care with my car and my property. I told the BMW case manager that this company should be at the top of there list in the future. read more

Al's Towing - Jesse C. got the job done expertly while taking great care of my Car and my Property. - Towing Near Me - Alhambra, California

Man I requested roadside assistance at 1 pm. They did not responded back and it's 5:57 pm and my entire day is gone. My roadside request has change. I do understand that emergency do come up. But this situation is unacceptable. I lost my entire day waiting for these people to come. read more

Don't be fooled. This good reviews are fake. I spoke with some of those people working here. They're bad. Rude. Greedy even. They charged me 400 bucks. For a 6 hour hold of my car. read more

Consider this a negative 5 star. Crooks !!!. I went to pick up my old CRV because it got took for a hot ride. Thank god the police apprehended they thief's in a short pursuit. After paying the tow fees of $278 they took 30 minutes to get my car out saying they could not start it. Fork lift pulled my car to the front minus my stereo and set of sears jumper cables. Read the other real reviews and you'll see their towing fees are over the place. You have a nicer car... yes your going to pay a lot to get your baby out. read more

I got a Fast response! They gave me a Great price! I will definitely recommend them to anyone!

I just now at this very moment had to find a tow service! My car decided to die on me in the parking lot at work. My mechanic happens to be in the same city. I call him. He recommended Al's and within 10 minutes Arrrrmondo is on the job! He was knowledgeable and understanding and not afraid to get his hands dirty! Thanks so much for the very quick response to my call and the trip to my mechanic! read more

I'd recommend using a different company, but as I'm sure many people have experienced, if anything happens to your car involving the Alhambra Police Dept. where towing is involved, you will be forced to use Al's Towing. My car was stolen, and to retrieve it cost me $224 dollars even though it was gone from in front of my house less than 12 hours. They charged $176 for towing literally less than 2 miles from where it was found, and $48 for storage even though it sat in their lot maybe an hour or two, and I picked it up right away. The service is as good as the DMV. :l During my phone correspondence, I was stopped so the woman could address another phone call discussing the subject of Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2. After a stressful morning like the one I had, that is the last thing I'd like to hear. "Eff" this place for taking hardcore advantage of their contract with the police department. If they can't be civil to their local community's residents by providing decent service and decent rates, then they can't expect us to give them anything but a harsh review. read more

Terrible Customer Service. They made us stand in the rain as the bozo with a chip on his shoulder processed our police report. Our vehicle was stolen and we had to pay them $235 to get it back. If getting your car stolen along with hundreds of dollars worth of equipment and then having to pay an arm and a leg to recover it isn't bad enough, try getting slapped in the face on top of that. The jerk at the front desk treated us like criminals when we were in fact the unfortunate victims of a crime. I didn't expect to get a hug from the guy but if you're dealing with people who just had their vehicle stolen you could at least try to be polite. Don't ever deal with these losers if you have the option. We, on the other hand, had no choice because this is the towing co. Alhambra PD contracts with. read more

I want to start by saying f@!k this tow yard I've all was had bad thing happen to my vehicle's when they picked them up.... They towed my truck 3/15/2020 I got busted. now it's costing $2000.00 in suspension and electrical repairs but KARMA'S a BITCH........ remember that read more

No customer service what so ever!!! They don't care about their business. Everyone hates their job in this company. On the phone or in person they treated us like we were annoying them. No manners nor cordiality. From start to finish a complete disappointment. I had no choice since local police called this company for towing after a car accident. Cherry on top (sarcastically) was the driver that deliver car. Upon last delivery he just dropped car in the middle of driveway and didn't even care about helping move car to not be left in the way. We asked for assistance to move a few inches to the side and he even made faces at us!! A one star review is too much for this business. Consumer BEWARE! I've never experienced such a terrible towing company. read more

I called in last week to set a pick up from my home to the CHP for an inspection . We had a set time of when I needed to have my car picked up by and dropped off at the CHP we agreed on a price and the time and date! He told me the police needed a pick and they pay more for service I told him you set the price and I agreed to the price for the tow I didn't set the price he did I just wasted my day off trying to get this done now I have to set an appointment and try to get another date done I have only one other day to set up this month is not it will be till next month from the looks of it I should of came on yelp and seen there results not like it matters I hope the next person see this they rather take the police tows than regular peoples money read more

Jesse C. Towed me from San Diego. He was super professional and helpful! His customer service skills were top notch. He's very passionate about his job and you can tell he loves what he does! Thank God I've never had to use their towing service, but I can tell that their drivers are lacking in common courtesy. I am a senior citizen who walks in the neighborhood 5 to 6 days a week. This morning around 8:25 AM on July 10, 2017 I was on the sidewalk near a gas station (Chevron?) on the corner of Fremont and Valley. The driver had pulled up to the gas pumps but was all crooked. As I got close to the truck, which was partially on the sidewalk, the driver opened his door, got into the truck and just looked at me. I thought he would close his door as I passed but he did not. I walked away and then decided to take a photo with my camera phone. Before I could do so the driver closed the door and straightened out the truck. What a great guy! read more

The next time you're a victim of a car theft, you're going to be victimized a second time by these people anyway, so if you have a choice, go with another local business that actually appreciates your business and offers good service. I expected to have to pay through the nose, but you would think that because of all the free money they get from their city contract, that they would be polite, helpful and efficient. But you would be wrong. For them, your time has no value and they will get to bringing you your car whenever they get around to it. You can just stand in the driveway an hour or so while they finish smoking or wanking or whatever they were doing. And don't expect an apology or thanks, just surliness and attitude. By the way, they are only open from 8 to 5 so if you have to work for a living, you get to pay an extra $92.50 to get your car out after hours. I called AAA to pick up my battery-less car from these jokers. AAA sent M & M Action Towing who were the diametric opposite of "Al": polite, fast and conscientious. Check them out if you need a tow. read more

These guys are rude. They do not know what they are doing. Didn't provide any paper work to release to my insurance company. (That I wasn't aware was necessary until insurance company told me over the phone) they won't let me release over the phone and the insurance company is attempting to take my vehicle. I didn't have enough time to make it before closing time. This is a big mess. Tow drivers are uninformed on proper procedures. They are money hungry scammers trying to prolong me releasing my vehicle to insurance to get more storage fees. Unprofessional. read more

If I could leave zero stars I would. This review is specific to Deena(She even spelled it out for me in a sarcastic and rude tone) worst customer service provided over the phone. I Asked if they required a specific form from the police department and she was extremely rude and condescending.Reiterated that she repeated something to me 5 times. Her attitude did not change when I requested to speak to her supervisor. read more

We had been active customers of Al's Towing for about 5 years. Each month they would transport 3 - 5 cars for service at different shops. Until last month, we never had a problem with them. However last month there was a problem which was probably nobdody's fault...there was a flat tire which occurred while a car was in their possession. We expected that they would restore the car to the condition in whioch they recieved it and that they would be courteous and apologetic. Boy were we wrong! They tried to blame the situation on everybody but themselves, and put us through 2 days of hell until we agreed to a low cost method of repairing the flat tire. The tire was finally repaired by our service vendor, which is a shop with a very high (and deservedly so) reputation. We will never use Al's towing again. read more

Been using this place for years. Mario is a great guy and knows what hes doing

My brakes failed and Gilbert from Al's Towing came to the rescue, thanks to Audi's roadside assistance! Gilbert was a true professional--very skilled in labor and extremely prompt. His towing truck is also beautiful and sqeeky clean! I am most appreciative of his kind demeanor and ability to put a stressful situation to rest. Super friendly, supportive, and skilled. I am very appreciative and would recommend this company and specifically Gilbert. Thank you for saving my day! read more

This towing company is the best in the area! The employees are very honest and really care about customer service. If you need a ride to the dealer (or anywhere) with your car, their trucks are VERY clean and don't have that funky "mechanic smell" inside. The drivers are knowledgeable about what they are doing and will treat you with respect. They do a lot of towing for the police and highway patrol, so you know they are a reputable company. Because they tow for the police, they do follow the rules and you can trust them. Some of those other companies will take your stuff and sell it, but not Al's Towing. Remember - if you need a vehicle towed - call Al's! read more

Jesse C. is the one who picked up my vehicle to the collision center in Alhambra. He is super nice and friendly. I can tell he is passionate about his job. He is professional. He first gives a walk through to my vehicle, then he made sure which part of the vehicle needs to be repaired, so that when he gets to the collision center, he knows what to tell them. After that, he gives me the name of the person in the collision that he would give the vehicle to. At last, he told me when he will arrive at the collision center. He handed me a card which is written down every piece of information I need. I will definitely ask for Jesse C in the future. read more

Needed a tow and Jesse came out quickly. He provided efficient and professional service. Would use them again.

Mario gave me horrible service and personally insulted me when I asked why I was receiving this service. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE UNLESS YOU LIKE TO PAY LARGE AMOUNTS OF MONEY TO BE PERSONALLY INSULTED. I have never in my life experienced such horrible service. They should shut this place down. They also stole several items from my car. What a nightmare. read more

These guys will do anything to rip you off. If you get into an accident, which I hope you guys don't, the police will call Al's Towing to retrieve your car. But, don't let the tow truck driver do whatever he wants to do with it. Ask him where he's taking it and where you want to take it. If he says, it's more cheaper to tow it to the tow lot, it's BS. Always tow it back to your house immediately, because storage fees are around fifty dollars a day. That's what these guys do. Forget what they are telling you to your face. Beware. read more

I guess I am not surprised by the level of ignorance as I read the previous posts...Folks, local cities set the towing fees, not the towing company. I also had my car stolen from the Costco in Alhambra. Alhambra PD found my car and they called Al's Towing to pick it up. As a victim, I was of course very upset, but the staff at Al's was not only informative, but also quite professional. I was so impressed by the level of service, I have used this company on two other occasions to move my 67 Chevy from here to Orange County. Not a scratch, not a dent, not a problem. Thank you Al's Towing. read more

Wow. this turned into one hell of a night trying to just a get a tow. For whatever reason the driver wouldn't credit card as a form of payment. Eventually it turned into the driver threatening to call the cops or tow my car away. I had to borrow cash from reluctant friends to come up with the money. Absolutely ridiculous service, I would look elsewhere for towing services. read more
