Ellie R.

My husband and I went to Alpine Shooting range yesterday for the first time with another couple. The pro shop is really nice and had a good selection of the basics as well as gear and accessories. It was $20 per person to use the range for the day and the fee included one small target. There were several ranges for pistols with multiple stalls, so we had our own little range for a while, which was nice because the RO could call it cold for us to change targets without waiting for other parties. The first two ROs were very friendly and chatted a little bit let us do our thing. There was a 3rd RO who came over and made things a little awkward... he was offering a lot of unsolicited advise, and didn't seem to pick up on cues that we were good and didn't want to chat. He basically wouldn't go away, and even came over and picked up our firearms without asking if it was okay... he was trying to give the other female in the group shooting lessons and we kept assuring him we didn't need them. So she and I ended up sitting in the car waiting for him to leave. Besides the one RO I really liked the range. It's nice, well maintained and seems to have lots of lanes available.

Very disappointed that Alpine offers NO DISCOUNTS for FFL transfers for LTC holders or Veterans. I'll take my money elsewhere.

This is the only place we go for shooting skeet or clays. Range officers are professional and always available.

Went with the guys for a Bachelor Party and had a great time shooting clays. Pricing might be a bit high but it was worth it.

I love alpine's sporting clays. Lots of improvements underway. New presentations, new stations, new card system.

Ask the Community - Alpine Shooting Range

Can you shoot black powder at this range?

Yes, you can.

What's the price range for adults?

its 19.99 for all paper ranges for the day. (no time limits no lane assignments)

Do you sell 12 gauge game loads if we come there to shoot skeet?

We sure do.

What's the longest range they have for rifles, as I need to zero in my AR for new optics?

Unless they have added longer ranges the maximum is 100 yards. They also have 25 yard & 50 yard lanes.

What do I need to be able to shoot here aside from my guns?

It would probably be best to have ammo, but they do sell it there and there are some ammo restrictions, like no FMJ for rifles so check their website so you don't waste your money. Make sure you have eyes/ears as well. Range fee is $15 and comes… Read more
