First off the inside sales people are very helpful.Their prices are a little higher than the internet stores but the real problem here is the service department and not all the workers just one in particular who took our money and kept it without turning it over to the store. Don't know how they did it I just know we got a $1400 circuit board put in and me being the honest guy that I am told them they could just mail the rec out to us.Bad move on my part cause according to them it was never replaced by them and they have no record of them putting one in.Well there is much more that happened and I just wanted everyone to know about them read more

Bret the service manager is fantastic and was the one I contacted when ever there was a pool question and he always got right back and helped so much Dan the manager is great he drove two hours in his electric truck to check on the job and solve problems Tyler and Jake dug the pool to perfection installed liner and auto cover they were perfectionist. Horrible service. Clayton told me I was on the schedule 4 times and I was blown off each time. His communication was equally terrible as he only called one of the times we were blown off. Definitely wouldn't recommend. read more

Switched pool service providers this year. Last year after the closing, I went to move equipment, and the filter was still filled with water. When I called, they mentioned the technician has not closed a pool with a sand filter before and missed this. read more

Totally depends on which technician they send. Some seem knowledgeable, but enough are completely clueless that it's not worth the risk. Good for cleaning, but don't use for repairs or anything major. I wouldn't trust them to close my pool and the lines not freezing & breaking during winter. You can do much better and safer IMO. read more

We had been working with Brent getting everything in order for our pool. He was patient,honest, and up front with all the information pros and cons of a fiberglass and concrete pool and the equipment (filters and heater) he liked to use. Their team(Ed's crew) showed up when they said and got our fiberglass pool into the ground on day one. We were swimming in less than 2 months!! we used their references for plumbing, electrical, and fencing. All the contractors were just as helpful and friendly as Alpine's crew. My pool experience started out with me trying to look for a lesser know company because I figured they would be less in cost. This was not the way to go. I ended up calling Bret from Alpine (I've spoke to him in the past) and asked if he could come out and take a look and tell me how we could get a pool on my property with my grade. Bret was very responsive and had a plan for me within days. He also recommended electricians and concrete specialists who were also very responsive and the work they did was great as well. Our pool cover fell in, during the "off season"...it looked like a lake in April. I didn't think there was any chance of us opening up the pool in June, let alone mid May. The staff at Alpine Pools, in Bethel Park, recommended the exact chemicals needed, recommended the correct time to let the chemicals work and most importantly, recommended when it would be safe to use. Nothing these people install will last. I hired them to replace my liner and they installed the cheapest liner I've ever seen. It had more wrinkles than an old persons behind. Installers said not wrinkles just dirt. Clean it and it'll be fine. IT Wasn't. They installed a pool heater that lasted 2 years and started leaking. They blamed it on my water being imbalanced even though I take it for testing every 2 weeks. I was a repeat customer. Bought a pump also. They charge you 135.00 even if its a 5 minute look at your pool. Got an estimate for new combo pool ( mine was 18 years old) They wanted 15,000 for just the pool. No install, no fence, no pump, no ladder. Got the same grade pool(probably better) from pool city for 13,000 included the excavation,deck, fencing, ladder, pump and install. Asked Alpine could they give me a break on the service call since the heater was not old and I've used them often. They said no. 135.00 just to come look at it. I'll not be using them again. Will stick with pool city because they seem to care more about keeping their customers. Now to prove how little they care. The manager answers my review obviously without reading it thoroughly. Said could go to manufacturer about liner. Hey Stacy, I stated that I just got a new pool from pool city. Heater didn't get used at all in 2017 because I needed new pool by then. My husband didn't let me know it was dripping when he closed pool in 2016. By the way I paid you 135.00 in early 2017 to look for 5 min and say pool couldn't be repaired. But its fine. I don't need to call you to get the run around. I'll use other pool places from now on. read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! After calling for an appointment and listening to the guy complain that everyone was in Vegas I made an appointment for Thursday between 2-3:00. I had to leave work hours early to be home in time. At 4:00 I called to see if they were still coming and the guy seemed bothered that he had to call the tech to find out. When he called me back he said he wasn't going to make it because he thought there might be traffic. No one was gong to call me if I didn't call them! I missed money from leaving work early and my hot tub is still leaking threw my ceiling and they could care less. HORRIBLE! read more

He answered every question I asked and offered great advice on a leak and bad pump that I have. I'm used to young kids who have a bad attitude and seem to know less than me. They installed my inground pool 9 years ago I had no problems during install. All there sub contractors were very nice and knew what they were doing. Still have all orginal equipment only had to install new seal on pump one time. read more
