Really frustrated with this situation. I used yelps online finder to assist with locating an electrician on 4/17. I was in need of an update to my bathroom fan and to correct a wiring issue that was created by another contractor. Almost immediately after I hit send for yelp to locate a local electrician, Jeff messaged me. I am within his service zone, and he had great reviews, sounds great, right? We spoke quickly about the project on yelp, and eventually moved to text to set everything in stone for the Wednesday (4/24) upcoming to install the fan and rework the wiring. He offered a fair estimate, and said he would be in contact the morning of the service to show me fans that would best work in my space. Wednesday morning came and went, afternoon came and went. By the evening I was too frustrated to even reach out, because how do you get ghosted by a business owner? It was a waste of my time to relay the information for the work order, a waste of time for me to take a whole day off of work to wait around for him to not call. The only thing of value at this point is yelp allowing me to leave this review. Don't jump on a bid if you aren't willing to show up. read more

I reached out to Jeff a couple of months back for assistance in resolving some ongoing electrical issues in my older home. Several previous owners had done their own version of electrical work and this resulted in some weird wiring scenarios. Jeff was very responsive to our discussion of the issues prior to his visit, he showed up promptly and quickly resolved most of the issues (we even added on to the project with another item while he was onsite). When after the fact, I discovered an issue (solely due to the wonky wiring) Jeff was quick to come back and address the issue. I reached out about having electrical upgrades done at the new house I just moved into (an old house) based on the great reviews I found online. I was able to connect with Jeff directly and right away, discuss the items that needed to be done immediately for functionality and some of the longer term ideas and set a date that he would come to do those first projects and assess the others to provide more detailed timing and cost. It was a really good discussion and sounded like he could take care of the issues/items in a reasonable amount of time and fair cost. He asked me to send a text after our call confirming the address which I did and I included a recap/confirmation of the project and when he was coming. I didn't get an acknowledgment but wasn't concerned since it was just putting the address in writing we'd already discussed. The day of the appointment, which I'd agreed could be flexible on time, I hadn't heard from or seen him yet so around 1 pm sent a messaging asking if the appointment was still good for the day and for an ETA. I didn't get a reply nor did he come that day at all as scheduled. A call the next day after the no show/no reply went unanswered, also. I'm not sure if there was an emergency or other situation that prevented keeping the scheduled appointment- that happens and is totally understandable. But several days later there was still no response or update to reschedule. All the other reviews were so positive and clearly the opposite of my experience (and why I reached out to start).
