I learned a lesson. Don't think because a company doesn't have a lot of reviews that they are not as good as the strong reviews. I called LightWork and he said he would get to me a couple of hours later. I thought this was a red flag because the ones with great reviews take weeks to come. Well, was I wrong. Very nice young man. He worked efficiently and took care of a bunch of things in no time. The best part? He didn't rip me off. Very pleased with pricing and he is a Union member. As a side note, I asked him what he saw as far as computers taking over electricians work. His response mentioned digital training he completed. So the young man is very well trained. I just have to give a huge shout out to Eljin. I feel extremely compelled to let you know how much better I feel after he fixed my father's electric switch panel. He listened and validated my concerns. I was overwhelmed and frustrated that every time I would plug in the dehumidifier the fuse would go out and of course no lighting. I contacted Eljin to look at a job poorly executed by another electrician. In what I thought was a simple job, the previous electrician left the job as he ran out of time, with the light hanging from wires, and the light switch just stayed on, regardless of flipping the switch. Eljin arrived same day I called him, and had the new light installed and working in 10 min. Some contractors say they know what they are doing, and others actually do. I contacted him through yelp message because he is yelp guaranteed. I asked Eljin to replace a simple alarm on the exit door. He was so expensive and I still accepted his to pay his rates. Worst communication, rescheduled two times without informing me so I explained to him that I just need him to keep his word about date and time, I am not even in rush but I have to coordinate things and he accepted. Yes I do highly recommend lightwork. Quality work done well. They came when they were supposed to come,did the work and charged me as reasonable price. Most other electricians would have over charged me for the work.They recommend a good place for me to get quality Overhead lighting. I followed their recommendation.
