It has such a cozy chalet vibe; just the decor alone is enough to transport you to Germany or Austria. Almresi Aspen is also very attentive to detail. Everything that was served to me was plated beautifully. Even my ginger ale was cute. It had a floral paper straw and a little wooden Holstein Cow head on it! For an entree I ordered a pesto pasta dish that was not too heavy and had lots of yummy pine nuts. To wrap things up I got the cake of the day, which was more of like a pie with juicy pears. For drinks I tried their feuerzangenbowle and the muled wine. My husband got a Hugo spritz and jagertee. I loved my drinks the feuerzangenbowle uses flambé which was so cool!, it's pretty similar to the muled wine. Muled wine is always a favorite of mine when the weather gets cold! Our server was awesome and super attentive. He answered any questions we had and was very friendly. The gondolas have a set menu we ended up ordering more that was on the set menu since I wanted fondue and my husband wanted the raclette. We added on a fondue, ordered the raclette that came on our fixed menu and added on steak, along with the pretzel that comes as an appetizer. The food was really good, I think it is also just so cozy and suiting for the cold weather! Fondue and raclette are also just such a fun way to dine! I got the Jager Schnitzel and could hear the pounding of the meat begin after I ordered! It was a generous portion and came with some of the cheesiest spaetzle I've ever had. While it was a quiet night when I visited (Sunday), another table in the restaurant raved about their food and how they had devoured it in short order.
