Great ambiance and service. Didn't get a chance to try the food but highly recommend the glühwein (mulled wine). Will definitely be coming in again to try their menu.

Awesome food and great ambience to match. Kid friendly but still upscale. It was a highlight of our trip to Aspen.

Oh my I can not say better things about Almresi. I would give it 10 stars if I could. Renee, our waitress, was incredible top quality service. The decor and aesthetic was spot on and awesome. I would order the exact same way again when I come back. We were 5 people! Appetizers - kasefondue -pretzel - potato balls Entrees - short rib - duck !! A must have, perfectly crispy outside - pork shank !! A must have, fell off the bone - schnitzel Everything was so delicious, service was exquisite - I can't wait to come back!

The pork shank and short rib were incredible. All the sides were amazing as well, the spaetzle, potatoes and saurkraut were so good. Don't usually eat German food, but the whole family loved it. Loved the lavender drink, great presentation. The restaurant was very cute and cozy and the service was great.

We were looking for a unique dining experience and Almresi hit the spot. The menu is original, the decor is enchanting and the food is delicious. Service is very welcoming and charming. The restaurant gives you a vibe of Austria - you feel like you've travelled though time in the Sound of Music movie. Loved it all around!!

The gondola is cool because we had our own speak to play whatever we pleased! It felt very private and intimate which I really enjoyed. I loved the decor throughout the restaurant and our gondola had cute little touches as well. For example they had a coo coo clock that when off every hour. For drinks I tried their feuerzangenbowle and the muled wine. My husband got a Hugo spritz and jagertee. I loved my drinks the feuerzangenbowle uses flambé which was so cool!, it's pretty similar to the muled wine. Muled wine is always a favorite of mine when the weather gets cold! Our server was awesome and super attentive. He answered any questions we had and was very friendly. The gondolas have a set menu we ended up ordering more that was on the set menu since I wanted fondue and my husband wanted the raclette. We added on a fondue, ordered the raclette that came on our fixed menu and added on steak, along with the pretzel that comes as an appetizer. The food was really good, I think it is also just so cozy and suiting for the cold weather! Fondue and raclette are also just such a fun way to dine! Highly recommend and definitely will be back just to try the standard experience too without the gondola.

The feuerzangenbowle is a fun, warm drink with mulled wine and they will light the rum-soaked sugar cube. Slightly limited on options if you don't eat pork but you will find something like the salad with chicken schnitzel to get your schnitzel fix. The spätzle that came with the pork schnitzel was amazing. This was a fun place to come and on our next trip to Vail would like to try the apple strudel dessert that I did not have room for this time.

From the moment you step inside, the room feels cinematic, warmly lit, artfully layered, and unmistakably Aspen in the way visitors hope Aspen will be.the space feel less like a restaurant and more like stepping into a painting. The service is impeccable. Staff move through the dining room with confidence and intuition, striking that elusive balance between polished professionalism and genuine warmth. Nothing feels rushed, nothing feels overlooked. Not every dish justifies its ambitious pricing, but the restaurant understands the importance of signature indulgences. The pistachio martini is memorable without gimmick. while the escargot stands out as one of the menu's most successful nods to classic French decadence. Ultimately, this is less a place to dissect course by course and more a place to experience. It captures the romanticized version of Aspen people travel here searching for elegant, decadent, a little theatrical, and undeniably beautiful.

The staff was so accommodating and welcoming even when we didn't have reservations. The cocktail we got was called the Pink Panther and it was not only beautiful, but also delicious. It was such a fun dinner experience. The entrees looked amazing and the menu was vast. Overall, I'd go back here in a heartbeat, it was fantastic!

They had everything you would crave for breakfast and it was only 42 per person except the alcoholic drinks. Considering Vail as an expensive place this was our cheapest meal we had with very good quality and service. My fav was the german sausage which taste like the real ones in . Even the people you would see there not like anything in CA! Great atmosphere! Little cups of smoothies were yummy too. Until next time!

This restaurant is tucked away in a quiet corner of the upper level, and looks to be an outpost of the Wienerstube restaurant in Basalt. While I can't recall exactly what was in this space before, I will say it's an excellent setup. There's great outdoor seating under a solid awning/pergola type structure (read: great in sun and even rain); the indoors has views from all angles, and is nice and cozy. It would be a great spot to take in a sunset (though sadly rain/clouds for my visit). The service was attentive and the food quick to be delivered. I got the Jager Schnitzel and could hear the pounding of the meat begin after I ordered! It was a generous portion and came with some of the cheesiest spaetzle I've ever had. While it was a quiet night when I visited (Sunday), another table in the restaurant raved about their food and how they had devoured it in short order. I'm hoping this Austrian inspired hideaway gets a little more of the attention it deserves soon. With a menu of hearty options, it would make the perfect apres ski dinner.
