I went in because my laptop screen needed to be replaced, I got my laptop back almost a week later, and when I went home I discovered my screen would glitch and occasionally turn half black and half white, I had called them the day I picked my laptop back up and was told they could t do anything that day since they were closing early and weren't going to be open the following day (4th of July) I was told I would get a call Monday, I never received that call, I called yesterday (Tuesday) and it went to voicemail, than I called today, voicemail, so I called using my friends phone and they answered, I was then told about how it wasn't their problem that my screen didn't function correctly and how they had "proof that it's fine" when I tried explaining I'd be happy to send over photos with time stamps of how my screen didn't work I was told "I have pictures too". This place is super grimey, was quoted 390 for my MacBook repair, not only did they take an extra few days to complete but once I went to pick it up they charged me an additional 140 and said it was their "labor fee" when it was NEVER mentioned and was put in the invoice after I had already signed and dropped off my laptop. Nor was it placed in the charge section of the invoice it was added in a bubble by my signature. Don't give this place your business they are dirty people. read more

I took my computer into this shop on 12/3/24 after speaking with Ian, who indicated he could fix my iTunes issue (not burning CD-Rs). I was told that my computer would be ready by the morning of 12/5 because of an overload of customer requests. Fast-forward to Dec. 9th and my issue was not fixed (a week later). I doubt they even looked at it. I went to recover my PC and was charged $75 for nothing. I'm guessing that I paid for a week of storage. I will now look for another repair service and having used Alpine before, this is not a service I can still recommend. read more

My boss gave me a 2015 Mac and I was unable to do much with it (mainly download Word) and I had a deadline; being completely un-savvy when it comes to anything technical, I called Alpine. My hope was it just needed a little love, but wasn't sure if love would be enough, I needed a specialist. Alpine got back to me super fast (so unusual in Flagstaff) and got me all set up right away. Everything was explained to me, I was given options, I was given a complete estimate (which was exactly what I ended up paying). Honestly, as soon as she started explaining everything to me, I knew I was in good hands; it was such a relief! I thought the price was fair, I thought she was super helpful, polite and knew what she was doing. And, most important, I got my laptop back in time to meet my writing deadline. More businesses in Flagstaff should follow their business model. I am a firm believer in supporting small and local businesses and Alpine makes it too easy. After four years my iMac's hard drive completely called it quits. I was on the fence as to wether getting a new updated iMac or simply repairing my current one. As my current one was plenty fast with all power I need for my data intensive music & video applications I went about calling on several repair shops. I was most impressed by helpfulness, great care & attention of all the employees at this small local shop. They answered all my questions with an honest & genuine tone that revealed they really care about their customers & gave me several options to choose from. This level of personable customer care is just nonexistent with larger chain operations. Alpine installed a new higher quality, faster, increased capacity hard drive for a very reasonable price. The screen on my laptop was broken, so I had to find someone to fix it. I called around to most places, but most didn't give me the time of day. I called Alpine Computer Repair, and was greeted by a friendly voice. The first attentive and polite person I'd talk to all day. Would give 6 stars if possible. Fantastic customer service and work quality. Truly an "honest shop". My Mac had slowed considerably after loading El Capitan. All advice came across as completely honest with no pressure to spend money on upgrades. Diagnostics were free, along with lots of suggestions for speeding up my machine. They informed me that my Mac is getting old and it is probably not worth sinking a lot of money into new battery or hard drive. This info was much appreciated. I decided in the end to upgrade the RAM, a cheap fix, but again, with no pressure from Alpine...just confirmation that this was probably a good choice. Thank you! Great company.
