First time calling for a tow service, I must say the driver Daniel made it an excellent experience, it took less than 30 minutes after i called and his service was exceptional. He took extra measures to make sure my car wasn't damaged (my car is lowered) and the price was far less than the quotes i got from any other tow service i called! The dispatcher, Jesus, was great and kept me communicated. Will definitely use and recommend to others about their services in the future. Thank you Alpha towing!! read more

Alpha Towing - Amazed on how they managed to get it up with no damage! - Towing Near Me - San Francisco, California

We scheduled a pickup and waited over an hour. We called them back and they said it would take another hour. Then they cancelled on us. Very unprofessional. Don't use this tow company. read more

Late showing for pickup the car. Driver talking in the phone while driving. I highly not recommend this business at all so look for something it's more affordable for you. read more

Would give negative stars if I could. Damaged my car when dropping off and refused to give me insurance information or pay to fix it, even though i have photo and video evidence. I double checked and they don't have insurance anymore and the manager and owner could not be more disrespectful arguing and yelling at me every step of the way, acting like this is my fault. On top of that even when picking up my car during the night they had some sort of "mechanical issue" and delivered it the next day with very little communication. Definitely don't use them and if they happen to be called to you I would highly recommend asking for another company as owning a tow truck business without insurance is dangerous! read more

They have the perfect size tow truck for all vehicles, and I thank them for being there always ...

DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!!- I have used many tow companies in my life all good experiences- this was not- they towed 2 cars to my home -1 they left backward on a 1 way street in front of a no parking sign - the other a very special BMW they slammed off of the tow truck at high speed hitting the rear of the truck and an large curb doing major damage to the car as I Watched - the drive was no help- I called the company and they assured me they would repair the car - now they claim they never did any damage and have blocked my phone- I have pictures and texts from them admitting all - so its time for court - what a waste to time and aggravation--negative stars! read more

The team responded immediately. The driver was considerate, efficient, helpful, and was also able to help us during late hours. On top they came through when we thought no one else would. We drive a Tesla Model Y and had concerns that no one would be able to help us but they did. Very happy I chose Alpha. read more

A complete joke ! Waste of time do not use these guys. I waited with my vehicle for 3 hours waiting for these no good lazy lying guys. They showed up an hour and a half later meanwhile I was calling and calling and got no answer. Finally some guy answers and tells me I can wait an hour or not AND HUNG UP!!! Hour later the guy shows up waits 2 mins and drives off!!!!!!!!!! this goes against human decency, I was in the car with the seat back, he never took an effort to get out and check to see, just drove off!!!!! OMG !!! Now I have to make another tow request like I'm so mad I can SPIT!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

I called all tow company's in my area and I got no answer or I had to wait a "ETA" of 2 hours for my car to get towed. I understand that it was pretty late at night but thanks to Jesus at alpha towing my car was towed with no problems and with minimum wait time! read more

Deplorable service, rude, unhelpful, unprofessional. They are selling cars with some shady guy and I almost died TWICE due to mechanical issues I was not told of. They lied about the registration cost and the fact that they are having some slime ball do their dirty work makes it eve worse!! Steer clear for this place and their shady practices!! read more

I wouldn't recommend using their services unless you want your car damaged. I get that the towing company itself isn't at fault for towing my car. But when I got my car, my brakes were screwed up as well as my airbags. THEY ALSO HEAVILY SCRATCHED OUR BMW. We paid $450 ish to get our car back, so it would have been nice if we got it back unscratched.. They claimed the scratch was there before our car got towed, but I assure you it wasn't. I would notice a huge scratch like that on my front bumper. Also, we called the owner (because the worker said he's the one that towed our car) to ask about what happened to our car, and HE WAS SO RUDE.... This happened on Saturday, and I am STILL infuriated by his attitude -- he was raising his voice over the phone. I just didn't want to ruin my vacation by dealing with this the time of. We asked him to come take a look at our car, and he proceeds to yell about how it's not him and tells us he can't come right now. He tells us to wait until he's done running his errands. We went to a nearby bmw dealership and the guys there told us the scratch was fresh and insisted we go back and let them know. As a services-providing company, they were unprofessional and rude. I am thoroughly disappointed. Thank you for an incredibly frustrating Saturday morning. read more

Yesterday I had the bad day of having my clutch burn out dead, with just enough time to roll to a stop on a hill in Daly City, and unable to move under its own power. Not only did Victor, our driver, perfectly snake by the other parked cars to get me outta there but he did it quickly and with style. Reversing a tow hook isn't easy as is, and he got us rolling back to the east bay in ten minutes or less from when he showed up to grab my stranded car. That's right, trans bay. This is a solid company. Sadly I know all too well that a few bad reviews can tank a score on yelp. Whatever bad apples they once had are gone. Victor, again, you really did a solid job, and should I need the service again, I'd ask for you first. read more

Flat tire, Carlos showed up quickly and changed it efficiently with no hassle. Very professional & friendly - would definitely use again.

Horrendous. The tow truck guy called me 25 minutes after the ETA only to ask me about the pick up location and drop off location. Baffling... Now I'm planning sit here for another 20 minutes exhausting my patience for him to arrive. Unless, he calls again...wish me luck. read more

Alpha Towing - Surprise! Last time I checked, my car is still there after 40 minutes! - Towing Near Me - San Francisco, California

Short and sweet. Just like my visit with the tow truck guy who picked up my car and towed it to the auto repair shop. My insurance policy covered towing at no cost to me so they sent Alpha Towing. Originally they notified me the truck would be coming by 1pm. Unfortunately, the guy was almost 1 hour late. I called the central office when it had been 15-20 minutes past the ETA. The woman told me "they're coming from Serramonte, so it'll be a while." What does that mean? Serramonte Mall? There is no city called Serramonte....so I had no choice but to wait. And wait. And wait. Finally the guy shows up, he's very nice and works fast so I was able to dismiss the tardiness. My car made it to the shop about 15 minutes later and the process was quite seamless. read more

Driver calls me to confirm pick up but didn't know my address that was given to the dispatcher already. Gets here.... Where is it going? Oh I can't take it there. Goes back to truck to call dispatch and with no explanation drives off. Thanks for wasting 4hours if my day. read more

Kuldeep did a great job on a late Friday when I had an accident on the Bay Bridge. I managed to get the car to treasure island and called BMW recovery who sent Alpha Towing. Kuldip turned up quickly, suggested a garage and told me to get an uber while he got my car to the garage. Checked in next day, car at garage and all is well. Kuldeep and the team at Alpha Towing did a great job and solid guys! read more

Kuldeep has saved me countless times! They are quick and efficient and provide multiple roadside assistance services. I use farmers insurance and Alpha Towing is quick to accept and handle all requests needed! Definitely recommend when needing emergency or general assistance! They handle a lot of calls a day so don't be afraid to ask for an accurate ETA, their honesty and communication is very transparent, just request assistance and sit back and play some tunes until they arrive! Definitely would prefer their towing services and jumpstart. These guys know how to help and safety is a big concern that they pride themselves on getting you and your vehicle to the correct auto body shop and make sure your vehicle is secured the whole way! A+++++ THANKS ALPHA TOWING! read more

Khush was awesome with the towing service - he arrived fairly quick within the time of the accident. I was really shaken up but he assured me that the car would be fine and still drivable. His friendliness and empathy made the commute from San Francisco to San Mateo much more bearable. Thank you again khush! Good job to management for hiring a great employee! read more

Arrived minutes before their ETA, got the car jacked up, tire changed, wore a mask, was really nice -- what more can you ask for! All that after I popped a tire, bent the cheap jack that came with the car, dropped the car and then gave up but was happy to be alive. Will definitely use them again next time I do something stupid. read more

Update: eventually tracked down their insurance and even though they fought hard against my claim; physical evidence was conclusive that they damaged my car. THEY USE TOPA INSURANCE btw. read more

My son needed a tow was stuck in San Francisco and needed car towed to Stockton. Called Mercury insurance who dispatched Alpha towing and Carlos the tow truck driver was very courteous. Thank you Carlos for the great service and immediate assistance. read more

My car's transmission died which necessitated a tow, so I called Allstate Roadside Assistance and they sent out these guys. Prior to towing my car, the driver stood by the side of the truck and took a whiz. Then he made me reverse my own car onto the bed of the truck. Once we finally got in the truck, he asked me if I minded if he smoked pot while we drove. He had absolutely no idea where he was going and I had to keep giving him directions. Once we FINALLY got to my destination, he kept driving around and around looking for somewhere to get diesel (fair enough if the truck's low on fuel but either fill up before or after). He kept taking wrong turns and running red lights, and at one point he started driving up the wrong side of the road before I told him. Not a good experience at ALL. read more

I strongly suggest not using this company the owner is very rude very demanding he was very insulting had to get the police involved to stop him from harassing me he kept on calling me and sending me text messages yelling at me insulting me he works with the manager of Shadow Ridge Estates be very careful if you say anything to the manager she will call the tow company they will make you pay more originally it was $156.00 they made me pay $214.00 because the manager of the trailer park kept calling Jessie the owner I had to call the police I'm scared of these people. I rarely write reviews on here unless someone or something really provokes me to... Good or bad. This company... Nothing but BAD. Called for them to tow my car to a shop to get 2 flat tires fixed (aka I can't drive at all because the tires were almost off the rims at this point). First the driver tells me to drive about 1/4 mile to where he parked because he couldn't get his truck up there (I got towed there... How else did it get up a hill in sf?) then when I told him this, he sat in his truck for 20 minutes on the phone with his boss. When I asked for his company's number, he left. Yes, the tow truck driver took off and left me with my flat tired car. Then, when I did call the company the dispatcher told me it was my fault and called me a *?cking *!tch. DO NOT USE THEM IF YOU ACTUALLY WANT GOOD SERVICE!! WHAT A HORRIBLE COMPANY!!! read more
