Horrible and extremely sketchy place. First of all, I heard some pretty bad stuff about this place before-hand but considering the budget and stuff I said I'll give it a try. I initially called to inquire about my windshield and see when I could make an appointment. The person on the line told me that I can bring it in any time I want by . I wanted to confirm my schedule was clear for the next day and I called again to set the appointment, but this time another person picked up and said I 'd have to bring it in the next week. When I got on site they took my vehicle to the back and when I stood by to watch it they said that I was not allowed to watch my car while it was worked on. However, I looked over at the worker and he clearly had no idea what he was doing. He was banging on the windshield area of my car and kept looking around like he had no idea what to do. I hear a loud creak and go bolting over to my car to see what had happened. That guy tore off the windshield frame from my car and by the time I see it, that the manager comes running over and long story short, he tells me they can have the part in the next day for about 80 bucks. I was told to expect his call by tomorrow afternoon to let me know when I need to come back. Well, I walk over to my car and the guy that tore my frame off tried to hide the fact that he broke off a piece of the plastic cover that goes over the bottom piece of my windshield. He said don't worry "we'll have it for you when you come back next time." I also notice several caps are missing here and there and when I inquire about them, the worker refuses to give them saying "I'll just give them to you when you come back." He really would not let me have them so I figured I'll go and get them when my windshield is actually replaced. As I drove out of the lot, my window in worse condition than when I came in, all I could notice was how loudly the air rushed through the cracks and sides of my windshield. They had enlarged the cracks in the glass and because there was no frame, air could come in from all over. Of course, I was told to wait for the manager's call the next day but it never came, so finally 3 days later I call and he doesn't even know who I am. When I tell him about the broken frame on my car, he tells me that he found one for 3x the price that he initially quoted me and that I would be responsible to pay for it even though his worker broke it. Also, when I inquired about the broken plastic cover and the missing caps but he tried to make it sound as if I must have broken it and somehow lost the caps. Even when I told him the worker knows he broke it and promised me replacements when I come in, he only started to argue with me telling me that my car is old and that it isn't worth having a new part go into it because it would look awkward having a new cover. Technically this is a form of theft because I was told that I would have the part and all the caps from my vehicle placed on when I come back, but now they are saying they never left a cap off and this must be my doing. I told him to go ahead and order the cheapest frame he could find (for 3x the price I was quoted... I felt like what choice do I have at this point?). He said that he will call me when they get the part. So the weekend passes by and still no call. I call him and inquire about my parts, he tells me that everything is in, except for one piece which will come in the next day. I call the next day and when I ask for him it keeps going to voice mail. I end up leaving several messages either on the answering machine at the office, on his cell phone, or with other workers there, and still I haven't received a call back. It's been 3 weeks and still my windshield has the damage these guys caused and it is now in much worse condition than when I took it in. The damage is so severe that I have to use another vehicle. Unfortunately, I don't believe I would want these people working on my car even if I do get a call back from them. They clearly do not care about customers, they lie and cheat people behind their backs. I highly doubt that they have any parts for my vehicle at all. It is truly sad because I was lured in by a cheap price but now am faced with having to pay about 3x the cost of a normal quick and easy windshield replacement. This is absolutely horrible customer service and I do not know how long it will be before I will be able to get my windshield fixed now. Of course, now I will have to have the repairman come to fix it, and now I have to change out all of the broken parts... This place is total garbage, unprofessional, and immature children run it. They are greedy for money and are willing to lie, steal, or cheat you in any way to screw you over for $. Perhaps that is how they find joy in their miserable lives. I hope this place shuts down and the people are placed behind bars where they belong. A lot of the other shops have been saying they get a lot of complaints about Alpha too. Skip them! read more
