John gave me an affordable quote and has been extremely knowledgeable about pool maintenance and repairs. I've used Nu Wind for a month now and they've always been reliable and takes time to answer questions I have. Plus, my pool always looks amazing when he leaves. I don't know why there aren't more positive reviews but I'm happy to be the first. I highly recommend John to take care of your pool. He's awesome!

I called Mark as soon as the power was back on - needless to say he was busy they were out within a couple of days. He personally checked the equipment provided various options for me to select from. Once decided the equipment was secured and beautifully installed. He oversaw the installation and we chatted where he shared his focus on family and his commitment to not do business on the weekend and devote that time to family - I was impressed!! Two years later the pump motor starts eating capacitors then fails completely (on a Saturday of course) so I call Mark knowing he won't answer on the weekend but will return the call promptly on Monday which is exactly what happened. He had a technician out the next morning to look at the pump and confirm it was a warranty issue, he then worked with the manufacturer to get a new motor out and installed at zero cost to me. He communicated with me daily on the status of the parts, worked with the vendor to get a motor expedited and get me back online. All in all and excellent experience! To the reviewer who complained that they do not respond to pool "emergencies" on the weekend I have to shake my head - it's certainly a first world problem to consider not having a pump system running on your personal pool over the weekend an "emergency". I applaud Mark and his team for not only their work but their appreciation of and support for their families - no one will die if your pool system is down for the weekend (the water will still be there)

They are definitely not the cheapest but we felt like we were paying for quality service. (Although Mark refuses to respond to emergencies on the weekend since that is "his time".) Other than that, everything was going well. Until recently, Unified was out cleaning the pool and the technician for some reason couldn't get the spa blower to turn off. Well the circuit board had short circuited. Thankfully we had someone here remodeling our bathroom and he was able to help the technician get it off. Mark arrived and reasoned that our variable speed motor that he advised us to purchase and was installed by him was not getting the power it needed. He stated and I quote "when he installed the motor for us they didn't know that the amps in the breaker box needed to be 20 and we only had the motor on a 15amp. (Well hell it's your job to know that before you install NOT mine.) Our circuit board had shorted out and needed to be replaced for $1500+. In addition we needed to run a new line from the breaker box to the pool because we had to up the amps and that was another $3000+(not an electrician so lingo might be a bit off). We advised Mark that he didn't let us know about the electrical side that was needed and asked him if he would offset some of the cost since now we have to pay for both a circuit board and to run the line! This man said he will have to back out and discontinue our services! He canceled our services and left us with a pool that we couldn't turn on. I simply couldn't believe it. BE WARY OF BUSINESSES WHO CANT STAND BY THEIR WORK.

After a bad start with them, they worked hard to make ammends…read more Full story: They gave me an estimate where they described the work scope but they had actually forgotten to account for a big chunk of it on the cost. I applied for a loan to pay por it, gave them a check for 50% and after that they called me to inform they wouldn't do it for that price (they had missed the cost of concrete work, almost 3k), and asked me to go pick up my downpayment check. I was pretty mad at them. I was already in debt, it would have been hard to apply for another loan and I thought I had to wait another summer to get my pool renovations done.  I posted some bad reviews online, they noticed my dissapointment and called me to make ammends.  Colleen and Doug worked to get some contractors to complete the scope they had missed on the quote, they offered me some disccounts to help me afford it.  Now that the work is done, I am pretty happy with the results, the contractors did a nice job on the concrete and spray deck.  The quality of work: 5 stars

They kept a tidy job site, maintained great communication and completed the pool before the finish date despite the fact that we weren't in a rush. Having built 5 swimming pools in the past, I was pleasantly surprised by the customer service side with this company. It couldn't have been less stressful. They basically do exactly what they tell you they are going to do. A rare commodity these days. If you are on the north side of Houston I don't know why you would use anyone else. We were adamant that they do their best to save the trees. Even though they couldn't guarantee the trees would live they did their best. A year later they are all still alive, and despite the mess trees make they give the pool landscape the exact cabin look we wanted.

Dynasty Pools is on time, efficient and excellent at communicating existing and potential equipment or chemical issues. They break things down to layman's terms to better explain pH, cyanuric acid and chlorine levels. Pricing is fair and reasonable while being in the range of other groups we considered before hiring Dynasty. Give them a shot if you are in the market for an honest, communicative pool maintenance company. You won't be disappointed. Call them for a quote.

We contracted Billy to remodel our pool and in every aspect he was over the top difficult,…read moredishonest, problematic, and belligerent taking no responsibility for his substandard work. No matter what you say to this guy, he comes back with a horrible attitude complete with excuses that all lead to absolutely no accountability and why he is a victim. The scope of work was completely re-plaster the pool and install all new plumbing, tile, autofill system, and new equipment. The equipment was communicated to be the latest Pentair technology which at the time was the IntelliCenter system. I was gone out of the country for work and had my adopted son Josh function as oversight who had pictures of the same Pentair system we wanted that I had installed at my other house in Florida. Those pics where shown to Billy. When I returned home from Asia, I discovered that Billy installed the old obsolete ScreenLogic Pentair system at a cost to me that was more than the newer IntelliCenter system I just installed in Florida. He then played dumb saying that Josh knew what he was installing. In reality he was pulling fast one on us by charging me for the newest technology but sneaking in the old obsolete equipment because he could save himself money at my expense. Because I was gone I had to let this go but we definitely had heartburn over this because I got burned thinking I was buying the latest new equipment when in reality Billy switched it to the old stuff because I was gone. Also, the pump was a 2HP pump which Billy specified. However, I was very clear that I wanted the 3 HP pump so I could run by skimmers and pool sweeper at the same time with greater flow. Billy has a really bad temper and as soon as we called him out for putting in this old dated equipment he changed to a sarcastic tone and walked out with a dishonest smirk smile. The plaster, tile, and plumbing was all under the contract with Billy. Little did I know that the obsolete equipment Billy installed was just going to be the tip of the iceburg. Over the course of months the pool leaks started to materialize everywhere. Documented by a professional leak detection company there were 7 leaks in total. Both skimmers were bad, the pool and spa lights were bad, the spa and pool had jet leaks, and the autofill leaked. All these leaks were under the travertine deck. In fact, the whole travertine deck was besieged by water and the pool was losing 3 inches a day. Because water had to be added daily we could not keep chemicals from being diluted and the plaster job started to get heavily stained with algae and rust. Clearly the job was substandard and according to Billy, not his problem. His attitude was horrible and sarcastic. He was mad for being put in check over the obsolete equipment he installed like somehow he was the victim. Billy was told about all the leak problems but his temper and bad attitude controlled all his bad logic and he did nothing but smile as if he was happy there were problems. After digging up my travertine with my son, we discovered that the PVC plumbing was not even glued. So much for pressure testing and job quality. Billy came by one day not knowing that the actual owner was the guy digging up his own backyard. Billy was looking to somehow become the pool cleaning company. This is how unreasonable Billy is. To actually think he could get that monthly contract after all the above he did and did not do. Because of his horrible work ethic, Billy also never provided Pentair registration information so I could lock in the 5 year Pentair warranty on the equipment. So I have taken up enough of my valuable time for this review. I can tell you more about Billy and his horrible service and beligerent attitude. Just call me at 281-507-8800. I'll text you pictures and show you the emails and texts from this absolute bad actor. In summary, use him at your own peril people! This is a real bad contractor Dynasty Pool Services are not worth the trouble you will go through. You will ultimately spend more time, money, and headache to clean up Billy's mess. I was so worried we were going to have to drain and refill the pool, but Kaleb did an awesome job and was able to quickly fix our problem before it got any worse! We hired them on for monthly service (since we weren't doing the best at maintenance) and they just keep impressing me! Kaleb has kindly helped me with minor repairs and maintenance on the pool that is above and beyond what I expect from a monthly pool service. This company is great and we will definitely be keeping them around! Highly recommended!
