I wish I had taken a "before" photo of the car seat in my Tahoe, but I didn't. Trust me when I tell you that the leather was worn, cracked, with a torn seam that was erupting foam. All from years and years of my okole sliding in and out. I considered just getting some wet okole seat covers but decided to just have this seat repaired. SO, naturally I went to Yelp to find the best upholsterers. That led me to Aloha Upholstery, and I'm glad it did. It's a mom-and-pop business, owned by a wonderful older Korean couple, Mr. and Mrs. Lee. They've been in business for fifty years. They know what they're doing. We decided on a price, and I dropped my car off there in the morning and by afternoon it was finished. Check out the photos. It looks brand new! One note - they do not accept credit cards, cash or check only. They did such a phenomenal job, I didn't care. read more

They gave me estimate of $350 to fix the ceiling in the car but told me that I need to bring it early morning. I found a day to bring it in the morning and they acting like they see me first time and new estimate is $650. It's like doubled within couple days. I just wasted my morning read more

I am so impressed with Aloha Upholstery. They have been providing Upholstery services for the community for 40 years. I needed a headboard redone and they gave me a good price and completed the job in just a few days. I was extremely satisfied with the service. Such a happy local couple that love what they do and take extreme pride in the service and workmanship they provide to customers. They are also big fans of Yelp and they appreciate all the business they receive from Yelp customers. I will definitely bring my next upholstery project to Aloha. read more

Customizing the seat pan was difficult because Mustang uses a thick metal pan to maintain the shape. Aloha Upholstery used the original cushion, said it was superior quality. He also used the original Mustang leather seat cover. He also said this was superior over vinyl. Five hours labor, it was a custom pan cut. Perfect fit per my measurements. My wife and I have been doing business with these business owners since 2004. They are the best value and workmanship. read more

Our Subaru Forester front driver seat was in desperate need of repair. I drove to Aloha Upholstery and The Lee's provided me with a Reasonable quote and timeline for repair. Two days later I dropped the car off in the morning and picked it up 4 hours later with a brand new section of my leather seat. They are awesome people and have been in the business for 40 years. Mr. Lee has custom upholstered so many show cars, Lamborghini, Ferraris etc. The best part of my interaction with The Lee's was when Mr. Lee told me that he could reupholster a Lamborghini seat with his eyes closed, but a Lexus was the toughest job still to this day! CLASSIC! Support this gem of a business. You won't be disappointed. read more

Took my car seats that I really wanted custom out. I had the material especially purchased from a European factory. The first two upholstery shop did not want to take the job because of the costly fabric being used to complete seats. But the Lee's took the task on and educated me that the material I was about to use on seats were backwards. What I wanted is actually the reverse inside of the display. Also mentioned that this is a better look since they have done many car show vehicles in the past 42 years. They are very knowledgeable in what they are doing and showed me many of the other task they done in the past. Highly recommend this upholstery service for the experience and workmanship they have! 5 stars for Aloha upholstery! read more

They are a mom and pop business and great people. They did the headliner on my Chevy Silverado. The ceiling was falling and the foam backing was crumbling. They only took a day to remove and replace the headliner. They did a great job and the price was good. It did take a few weeks for the glue to cure and it takes longer for the glue smell to leave but, I should have rolled down my windows when the truck was parked. read more

Excellent work quickly done, awesome couple sharing their skills at reasonable cost. I will definitely do this again.

I've been meaning to get the roof of my car done it's called a "headliner" so they told me at the shop. lol It's been bugging me because my car is old and the material on the inside started to droop. I was gona attempt on redoing it myself because there's some videos on youtube. As I researched more, a lot of people said that it takes hours to do if you aren't sure on how to properly take out everything. Also you can possibly do more damage then good by doing it yourself. So I decided to find a place on O'ahu that is affordable and what do you know Mahalo Yelp for helping me out. lol Even thought there was no pictures up I decided to just try this place out. It's owned by an old Korean man and woman. They don't answer the phone very professionally but who cares they're good people and as long as you ask them if this is Aloha Upholstery they'll tell you it is. I asked for an estimate on the phone and they told me $150 for my Geo Prizm. Which is good because other places I called they quoted me about $160+. They told me I had to come in though so they can match my material that I already have. I went in just randomly I didn't make an appointment I just called and asked them if they had an opening and they we're like can you come within the next forty five minutes so I did. They took about two hours to do and I'm very pleased with the results of how my car turned out. They're very nice people and their customer service to me was superb. They're located on Nimitz right across of Goodwill or if you know where Kmart is around there. They're on the corner next to that Cosmo Airbrush place, you can't miss it. GPS kind of takes you all over, so all you really need to do is take nimitz and make like you're going to Dole Cannery, go straight, and it's going to be on your left hand side on the corner. I'm not sure if they accept credit cards or debit cards because I brought cash, but I assume they don't because they're shop is super old school. I will recommend people to come here and I support local! CHEEE HOOO! :) read more

We're very happy with our experience at Aloha Upholstery. After waiting way too long to get our boat seats re-upholstered, we finally settled on this shop, and in the end, the value and results were great! The husband and wife team were friendly and helpful, and we got our really badly damaged boat seats back in pristine, like-new condition in three weeks (that includes the time they needed to get the fabric). Other places were on a several months wait and then another 6-8 weeks for completion. While I was there they gave me a peek at some work they had just completed for a much larger boat and that looked fantastic, too. Very happy and would return, and recommend to others. read more

Very good work and the price is very competitive compare to other shop, they didn't guesstimate your work on the phone, but they will give you a honest estimate with a good quality result once you bring your car to them. We have gone to Aloha Upholstery twice, once for the repair of my car ceiling and most recently to repair my husbands car shade. Fast and excellent service. Cost was very, very reasonable as well. Both husband and wife comes out to greet you to assess and concur the work that needs to be done. I honestly had to giggle to myself while they were assessing around me as I sat in the car (I didn't have a chance to step out of my car as they converged), but it really didn't matter as they were more concerned with completely their task. No nonsense and knowledgeable about their business. read more

This is a mom a pop shop that obviously takes great care and pride in their work. Went in to get an arm of my car reupholstered and we very pleased by the workmanship and speed at which my repair was accomplished. And for a very fair price. 2 Apria 2021 Wow! Easy to see why they consistently rate 5 STARS! As someone stated, this place is a Mom and Pop operation and they put their heart and soul into the quality work they do! Got in at 8 am out by 11 as promised and they did a fantastic job at less than we expected! They are Covid conscious and they called me as soon as the Job was done! I need a qoute. Instead the company takes an image and can provide me a qoute he tells me cannot and hangs up on me. I don't want to drive a pc of furniture all the way to town that can barely fit in my van to be told its x amount and I can't afford it. Friendly service and great work. I took off the headliner from my car and brought it to Aloha Upholstery to have it reupholstered.

The shop is run by the sweetest older Korean couple. I spilled battery acid on the leather seat in my car and tried to clean it up per google's advice which made for a disaster so a friend recommended Aloha Upholstery and they were fantastic! I thought for sure there was no way the seat would ever be the same but they made it happen! They even drilled the seat out of the car so I wouldn't have to leave it there while they repaired it. I'm very impressed with the work that Aloha Upholstery did! The Korean couple that works there aren't the friendliest people, but they do look out for their customers. Exceeded my expectations. I did not know what to expect because there wasn't that many "Before & After" photos. But of those I seen, I was impressed. I called them up and they answered their phone to answer questions. I went over there and showed them my chairs. They were really nice and funny. My wife liked them a lot. They told me that it would be done in 2 days. I dropped it off on Tuesday morning and expected it to be done by Thursday. I received a call on Wednesday evening and picked it up then and there. I only expected them to replace the fabric, but they fixed or replaced the foam as well. I am very happy, not only on the quality of service but how fast they were. I've read reviews of other places. There are a lot of other places that have great reviews but are very busy. We were able to get a quote right away and our chairs back right away. Tip: When going there make sure you have the right address. I google searched "Aloha Upholstery" on my phone and the first link took me to a different (old?) address. I had a problematic roof rack situation and I needed help fast. After asking around and receiving a couple of quotes I've decided to go with them. The couple was really helpful the price was reasonable and the job was done fast!
