When I sold the truck the seats were in immaculate condition when I removed the seat covers. Nobody likes grungy torn seats. I ordered seat covers for an older Tacoma which I just picked up because I wanted to protect the fabric seats. The best way to order covers is to actually go down to the store located on Dillingham Blvd between Mokauea and Kalihi Street. That way you can see the products and styles on display. You can mix match colors when ordering locally. When you order online your limited to black for the outside trim, plus your have to pay shipping. Take the drive down and check out the color swatches. The staff were really personable and helpful. When you decide to make that purchase you can either put a deposit down or pay in full. It takes 6-8 weeks to arrive and Wet Okole will text or call you upon arrival. You then schedule an appointment to have it installed at No Charge, yes free installation. Installation is quick, normally around 10-15 minutes. They also carry Weather Tech products, floor mats, cargo liners and a lot of other products. Update on wet okole what can I say fast efficient service . I took a before and after pictures and it fit snug against your original seats and the beauty of it it's water resistance . Brought my car in December 2024 to install all of my car seat covers. Fast forward to today found out that one of the lower metal anchor to install baby seat was missing. Thought it was a manufacturing issue so brought it into Toyota and spent the entire day there for them to tell me that whoever installed the car seat covers did not align the plastic pieces to expose the metal bar. Called wet okole and explained calmly at first on the situation and the worker told me "well you should've just brought It in to get it fixed". Listen, I don't need that attitude when I told you I was at the dealership all day. Then spoke to manager who told me that it was in the liability paperwork that I signed prior to getting my seat covers installed. So warning to those wanting to get your seats installed to do this at your own risk because they can mess up your seats and you being human, thinking it's a manufacturing issue especially if it's a new car under warranty, need to bring it in to the dealership and have to pay a hefty fee because it was an "outside influence" and doesn't fall under warranty. If I could go back I would've just installed on my own or go with another company that has better customer service and doesn't mess up your car. read more

Went into the store to get seat covers for my 2025 Volkswagen Jetta and they tried calling someone to see if they could and was told they don't have any replicas since the last time someone bought with them with the same car was back in 2018. Was told they can't order it online either, even though I could do it on their website. You can tell these peeps have been doing this for a while because they know their stuff and they're good at what they do. They won't waste your time! I was in and out in less then 10 min. Went in to price some seat covers for my brand new vehicle. Was informed that the only discount they offer is for police, fire and sheriff. They do not offer the same discounts as online sales. Online may seem cheaper but after the shipping fee it ends up being cheaper to purchase locally directly from the store. I was told wait time would be 4-6 weeks but was called in 5 weeks and they were able to install the very next day. When I went in for my installation appointment I was told wait time for would take 30 minutes but they were able to install front and back seat covers in 15 mins. Black Friday sale included a 15% discount so I was able to take advantage of that sale. They also had some really good deals inside the store on the back shelf so be sure to check those out. They were $150 for each set which is more than half off. Although the total cost may seem high I learned that you are able to pay half upfront and the rest later at pick up. read more

Less than 10,000 miles on truck since seat covers went on and both the material and stitching failing on driver side seat edge seam. I don't drive the truck a lot because I have company truck. Girlfriend took her car down to get her seat covers installed which was purchased at the store. They managed to install the front seats but not the rear, saying "it was missing parts and to contact the dealership". Finally got the time to try the install myself and noticed that under the seats, the styrofoam that's attached to the seats was completely torn apart, seat clips were bent. I had to remove screws to remove the whole rear seats to install the covers properly. "Missing parts" was an excuse to not let the customer know they fucked their seats up read more

Went through the whole process of ordering for the specific vehicle and in person. Paid for an order that would take about 3+ months. I was informed they would call as soon as the order was in. That never happened. I had to call every few days after the date it was exotic arrive. I finally got an appointment to install weeks later only to find out that they screwed up the order!!! Ive had wet okole seat covers on my older vehicles before..and i loved them. Well, i recently got a set for a new vehicle and is so dissappointed.. The material felt cheap, stitching looked jacked/cheap and fit seemed okay... Back in the day, the wet okole seat covers were tight fitting, material felt top notch and the stitching looked top notch too.. I dunno what happened with quality control.. i mean,... it dont feel and look like $649 seat covers... It feels and look like $149 ‍‍‍ I felt bummed but there are more important things to cry about‍. Ironically i felt so let down that i didnt even wanna return it or say anything which is totally weird on my end Oh well, it is what it is... My first set of universal fit seat covers (which are sadly discontinued) lasted 10+ years with no rips or damage. Just purchased my first brand new car and knew exactly where to go for neoprene seat covers. Went into the store for a custom order of just basic black front seat covers with the standard white logo. Took about 7 weeks to arrive. Installation is free and appointment based, and my front seats were installed in less than 15 mins. The reason I dropped my review by one star is due to the semi high price, and slightly lower quality. The seat cover I received isn't as tight and form fitting to the seat. There was also some loose stitches that are poking out and will most likely rip at some point. My center console cover was an additional $30 sadly, and the elastic band was way too loose (a replacement was ordered by the worker and replacement will be free of charge). Note: If you order from the website, they regularly have 15% off deals, but shipping is $100+ to Hawaii... Make sure you order in store so that you don't have to pay any additional fees. read more

One of my other purchases for my new gently used Honda. Like the tint on my old car, my old set of Wet Okole carseat covers lasted for 12 years. They moved from Kakaako to Kalihi, closer to my work location- very convenient. Stopped by after work and ordered some custom car seats. Paid for half in advance, and the balance could be paid on receipt. In about a month, as promised, my car seat covers were ready. They had a full crew installing them, so it didn't take too long- less than 10 minutes. When finished, they were a thousand percent improvement over the cheap generic covers that the previous owner got. They were pricey compared to my old seat covers- $550. Whew! But if they last as long it will be a quality purchase. Like anything else beaten by the strong Hawaiian sunlight, the covers will last longer if there is a regular schedule of washing (as needed) and protectant applied. Hmm, I wonder if the neoprene protectant spray will help my wetsuits- same material? Will repeat and recommend. read more

I've dealt with Wet Okole before and really love their product so when my wife asked to install Wet Okole seat covers on her bucket seats I said no problem. I really liked her leather seats but for some reason she wanted it covered. When we purchased the seat covers I also ordered Weather Tec floor mats for my F150 and we were told that both orders will take 4-6 weeks. After 7 weeks my wife called Wet Okole and was told that our order was still on the boat waiting to be unloaded. We got a call and brought her car in 3 days later for installation and also to pick up my floor mats. We were happy with the seat covers and the installation but I think the best assets of this company are the employees. They were well trained and very professional in executing their jobs, very thorough. It just so happened that our seat covers were manufactured with the Wet Okole logo upside down so the technician reassured us that new covers will be ordered and that the new installation will have priority. I like the products but the customer service is ... well hard to describe. They are efficient but seem robotic and almost seem like they are so busy that they are doing me a favor by letting me spend $1000 worth of their products. They are still very anal about the COVID procedures but a lot has progressed from a year ago. Kinda made me feel like I had leprosy when I walked in today rather than to protect each other. There is still a rope that separates the counter from the customer. The guy today put the stuff on the table for me to sign but then you gotta stretch to the table to pick up the papers and sign. And today after waiting 8 weeks for my covers to come in... the person that filled the order on the mainland wrote down the wrong size. So the front was correct but the back was not. The guy (not sure if he was the owner, manager, or what) explained what happened and said, "So rather than it taking another 6 to 8 weeks, we rushed it and it will take 3 to 4 weeks". They didn't even offer me a discount or anything for THEIR mistake. Again, the products are great but for the premium price of their products they gotta work on the customer service little bit. read more

My wet okoles for tacoma 2007 lasted through 2020, 13 years! That is a great value and quality, workmanship. The hubby got me Wet Okoles for my car as a gift. The sales associates were wonderful at answering all the questions I had and proper care instructions. We put half down for the initial deposit, and paid the rest when the seat covers were delivered. Seat installation was pretty quick. I have a 2018 Rav4, so it was a smaller car. I actually timed them and it took exactly 30 min. for two installers to place the covers and for the one in the center console. Remember the movie Tron? Then you're showing your age. I came back about 5 weeks (I know you read that review) from my initial order and couldn't wait for them to put the seat covers on. I arrived about 30 mins early for my appointment and was the only customer there. I didn't mind because it was their lunch time and you need to enjoy your break. I was instructed to park my car under the tent, backing in preferred and left unlocked. I feel one of the workers cut her time short for me and even after I said I can wait she insisted. That's customer service. I forgot her name but she's my new BFF. Because I have and RDX, the install time was suppose to be longer but it didn't really seem like that. I walked around the store and watched a little TV. It took three workers about 30 mins to cover all my seats. And they look nice. I like how the full blue piping compliments my car's color and as a bonus matches the Batman Car seat. Overall four strong stars. Service and looks are way too cool. Not quite five because putting a car seat can cause problems. Due to the extra padding from the car seat, it took awhile to secure Batman. I removed it and they had problems putting it in. It's a know issues with everyone working there. Now excuse me, I'm going to drive around with the windows down. Styling, profiling, and getting rid of that rubber smell. That stinks. I have OCD, I know this. When it comes to my vehicle, I want the inside to be so clean I can eat off of the floor (not that I would), but you get it. My dad was a car guy, he always taught us to take care of your car and the car will take care of you-- so part of that is definitely keeping the interior as immaculate as possible, which leads me to Wet Okole. Everyone knows someone who has seat covers from them-- whether it's the custom fit ones or the kind you can buy pre-made, they're a staple of Hawaii. I decided that I was going to do whatever is in my power to keep my black microfiber seats clean and flawless so I decided to invest in a set. I've been to the physical location a few times in the past, but going there as a buyer is different- your eye is caught on the different styles and colors rather than just being a tag-along with someone else. But I knew exactly what I wanted after months of research, color and style. I went in the second week of February, on a Wednesday at about noon and was helped instantly. Whatever questions I had was answered to the exact detail, there was zero information left out. I decided on full piping, Black with red trim for the front and after careful thought, decided against the back covers (for now) because it would be a hassle. Nonetheless, questions was answered and the customer service was on point-- I had zero concerns leaving the shop and paid half up front. Yesterday (March 20th), I get a call from the office letting me know my item had arrived and when I wanted to set the appointment for the free installation. I decided on 10AM-- good time. Got down there about 5 minutes early as one of the workers was finishing up another vehicle-- went in and paid off the remaining balance with the same great customer service I got when I was initially shopping. That's a big thing for me; seeing how attitude can change once the sale is pretty much compete and I'm glad that Wet Okole continued to be solid. After about a quick 20 minute wait, I got to see the final product and I was blown away. I love it, the feel-- the look, everything about the covers screams quality. I was asked if there was any questions by the installer but it was a straightforward process that I completely appreciated. There's no nonsense here, no up-selling. They'll offer you some stuff when you're making your purchase but they will ask you how you intend to use the vehicle so it's not a waste of money-- another attribute I appreciated from the company. All and all, I'm glad I spent the money here-- if I decide to do the backseat I will definitely return because it's worth it.
