Uncle working was EXTREMELY helpful! He brought out two options which is the one I went with and a carpet type material, I believe that's the term lol He even let me sample it on my dashboard so I can actually visualize what it'd look like. My brother took me to this place located in the pearl harbor center back of cutter Ford dealership. It has all kinds of car accessories from dash covers to polish, car wash you name it it might have what you looking for. I needed a dash cover for my car since my car is always in the outside sun 24-7. I wanted to protect my front area from cracking. Mat-Co has been in business as long as I have been driving. I was shocked to see this place has so little reviews. It could be because they're tucked away behind Cutter Ford in Aiea on the left side. So I wanted to write them a good review right away. Folks, this is where you need to visit when you just got a new car and you need to get it dressed if you know what I mean. If you chauffeur around not so clean people like I do, come here and get some weather floor mats. You know those hardly floor mats. As soon as I walked in, two nice gentlemen helped me out pick out the right floor mats. He also showed me some car seat covers too. It comes in many varieties and colors. That's for next time. I failed to take photos because my hands were tied. But they have so many other things like car wash goods, license frames etc. Parking is right in the front of the store so that's very convenient and it's free! read more

The salesman (unfortunately, we did not get his name) was very helpful in ensuring he was ordering the correct mat for our car. Today we went to pick up the mat from Tony at the store in Aiea. We were surprised to find out that they installed the dashboard cover without charge. Tony went out of his way to help us and was the most gracious and kind salesman ever. HOLY MOLY!! I had my ride detailed today by MATCO - Lionel took my poor dirty 4Runner and made it beautiful !! Inside and out it's like a new car again! I love the work he did on a bright and shiny Sunday morning for my holiday weekend. The car is stunning and the tires and rims are sparkling !! SO FRESH AND SO CLEAN!! It was so easy to call and make an appointment. Mark was super accommodating and set me up with an appt first thing in the morning ;-) Lionel was already there prior to opening waiting for my car to arrive. I left it there in Lionel's hands and took a nice walk... pleasantly reformed to a clean slick car!! I've been to Mat-co before and the young guy who helped me was very nice and helpful. When my dashboard cover was in the last car i had, he installed it quickly. I had good service. This time, I had purchased a new car so I decided to go to Mat-Co again. But when I returned to pick up and install my purchase, there was an older guy who I felt was rude and sounded like he was talking down to me. He said I needed an appointment to install my purchase. I explained that the last time I didn't have to and NO ONE told me I needed to this time. This older guy said they were busy and no way were they able to help me. He then said to read the instructions with the receipt and do it myself in a bad attitude way. He curled up my dashboard cover and put what looked like 2 white pieces of tape to hold it. I explained to him that last time I noticed there was velcro used to install the cover. He gave me "a look" and pointed to the the 2 tapes and sighed...."There it is". How am I supposed to know the tapes holding the dashboard cover together was the velcro to be used? Maybe he's talking to me like that because I'm a woman? He could have been more professional and not seem like talking to him was a bother. Anyway, he could have more customer manners!!! read more

Got my rain guards installed here and the next day 1 fell out so I called to explain what happened was told to bring in my car and they'll reinstall it. I came in and went to the person who I spoke with on the phone and he starts. Yelling at me in front of the other employees and customers saying why is it his problem and I can do it my F****n self. Luckily another customer heard and snapped back and he ended up helping me reinstall my rain guard. Do not recommend this business to anyone take your money and business elsewhere where they appreciate their customers more then this place. read more

Inherited a 14 year old car with window rain guards that were originally purchased from Mat-Co; one of them cracked so I decided to get them all replaced. I made an appointment to have them replaced. Before making the appointment, I was told they could take off the old rain guards for a fee, which I was VERY willing to pay (anything so I wouldn't have to do the removal myself). But when I arrived for my appointment, they made it painfully obvious that they did not want to remove the old guards because it was too "labor intensive" so I just ended up taking them off myself because I was tired of hearing their excuses and reluctance. The moral of this story is to never ever buy rain guards. read more

Customer service is terrible here. The person working when I went in to check the dash covers couldn't answer any of my questions. All he said was he didn't know. I asked him questions about purchasing car mats and which ones were the better ones. Again, his answer was he didn't know. My go to place for car covers, floor and cargo liners, sunshades, seat covers and dash covers. Don't come here asking for cheap. Why spend $40-100k on a car and ask for $50 seat covers? Be realistic, custom covers run minimum $1,000 for a full set. I got me a Ruff Tuff and they install it for you too. Car covers? Yeah, protect your car with a $100 one, or $50 on Amazon... I only have Covercraft Weathershield HD for my 3 trucks. I'd rather spend $1,000 for a car cover than $8,000 for a new paint job. New car paint now a days are water based, and if you don't take care, the clear coat will oxidize in 3 years, right after your warranty is up. I also got from here custom accordion sun shades that I absolutely love. Love my Husky and Hex floor mats. I also come here for some detailing things, 3D, and polishing pads and accessories. The fellahs here will work with you, but again, be realistic in what you are asking for and the price point. Before they order your custom items, they will repeat your order a few times to make sure you are ordering the correct ones, I do find that a great quality so there are no disputes later on. All my orders were fulfilled exactly as I ordered them. They will also explain what you need to keep in order to do a warranty claim, so please be sure to listen carefully and keep what they tell you to keep. And please, please, bring your receipt in with you when picking up your stuff! read more

Professional detailing tools, soaps, dressings, wax and sealants, polishing cloths, windshield shades (better quality than I have found anywhere else), safety sticker & registration stick plates... they offer so much more. I have ordered floor mats and a dash cover from Matco before and I received it pretty fast. But recently due to my circumstances I got a new car and my mom recently bought a new car too. My mom bought floor mats, husky cargo liner, dash covers, sun shade, and a head rest cover for both hers and mine. Dropping a lot of money on these things. We ordered these things in November and now it's FEBURARY!!!!! They definitely told us 8-10 weeks and my mom ordered her head rest cover a week before I ordered my cargo liner. They also stated that her head rest would be in BEFORE my cargo liner. My cargo liner just came in and we are still waiting on her headrest. My bf recently went online to look at the husky cargo liner to see how much it was and saw that it doesn't take that long for the husky liner to come in AND it's way cheaper online. Customer service isn't great here. You call them and they say that they'll call you back but they don't. They tell you to call back because they're busy, but they're actually outside cleaning their car. UGH i'm just so frustrated with this company already. Waste my mom's time and money. Warning: don't ever come here for your cars needs. Seems like they don't care about their customers anymore!!!!!!! If I could I would rate this 0 stars read more
