One pants needs to be tailored by the waisted and that is $35. So one pants is totaled $55 for hem and tailored. When I picked up the rush job pants I paid $32. They did a good job in hemming the pants. It looks like we bought it for my daughter's size. The total of the 5 pants cost me $172. The lady and the man also wanted me to pay in cash. This is so suspicious on why they would only accept cash. One thing comes to mind is they are stealing from the owner, or not recording all sales from IRS, or just laundering money. Lol. Overall I am satisfied with the job. I do not recommend it because of the price is wayyyy to high. Most likely I need to find another Taylor shop to hem all our pants or learn to do n it myself. I went to two local shops and nothing stood out to me. That is when I decided I should probably try custom. I stumbled on A.Cherie Couture in a random, late-night google search. I couldn't ignore the raving reviews so, even though she was 4 hours away, I scheduled a consultation. I warned her that I did not have a dress in mind and she assured me we could come up with something together. I sent a few inspiration photos and waited for the initial design sketch. As soon as I saw it, I felt a rush of excitement. It was like Ashley could read my mind better than I could myself. The sketch was perfect. She walked me through picking fabrics, lace patterns, beads, etc. The day came for me to see the final product. I was so nervous to see it. As I made my way through the door, there it was...shining and sparkling, and pure perfection. The sketch and my imagination did not prepare me for what I saw in front of me. My fiance and I decided to elope at the Abbey in Le Mont St. Michel, France. The dress made me feel like a princess in a fairytale setting. Once the appointment was made, I received directions to the Boerne shop and a payment explanation. All correspondence was both professional and personal. Karen made my first appointment very comfortable. She told me honestly the best way to make the alteration, which I appreciated. My second appointment with Karen was the final fitting and it went so smoothly. The dress fit exactly how I wanted and I feel beautiful. Called and was told items had been separated (not a word) and 3 items arrived Fri. Told it would be another $25 for those items. Today a friend went in to pick up and was told only 2 of 3 items there and it would be $45 to pick up! She left without paying, thankfully. I will contact Texas Attorney General as this is not just fraud, but criminal behavior. 7 items, $105 to clean!
