I constantly would check in for updates as weeks went by to only get the run around through text messages. "I'll have it done by this weekend". Two weeks later "I've been held up, I'll have it sent it tomorrow. What's your address?" Asked for tracking info then after paying via venmo because the "Shopify was having issues". Never received tracking info and I asked for yet another update. I was then refunded via venmo but still never supplied with the tracking information or a update on my tee shirt. This went on for a total of 4 months!!!!! Supposedly the custom words got messed up, the owner tried to "replace the shirt" but that didn't work. Then it became not worth it to fix her mistake because she "gave me a discount". I never asked for a discount. Mind you, I heard this from another source not even from the owner herself. She didn't have the decency to reach out to tell me the truth on what happened, she was scared and it was easier for her to stop talking to me and block my phone number.

I think there were items from Turkey as well? I enjoyed my brief conversation with the owner. The prices here are so low that I questioned her profit margins and wondered how much of this business is a labor of love for her. I had an odd budget when I entered this store, I believe that my budget was $82, and I got several lovely things for just under this amount of money. I left very happy with my visit and with my purchases. Recommended for inexpensive and unusual gifts for yourself or others.

The goods are amazing and everything seems to be hand made and/or upcycled. They source everything from fairly paid, fairly treated artisans and some of the proceeds go to worthy causes. This is high quality stuff. When I was there, a pregnant woman was having henna done on her stomach and there was such a lovely, warm vibe in the shop. The workers were so nice. They told me about some cool details of the things I bought that made me feel more connected to the makers. So many of the goods are freaking gorgeous with beautiful patterns. I want to go back and get a robe from them -- they were made from pre-owned sarees! Many things were made from those, including skirts, bags, scrunchies, and scarves. Their new furniture store is gorgeous, you can find anything you need from chairs, lamps, pictures, fans, home decor, bedspreads, blankets, vases, mirrors-you name it you can find it and it will be in excellent used condition but also a lot of new items too. Best place to shop although their shoe selection is small (and the only place I found items not in top condition) and their childrens and mens selection is small. It smells exactly like the best honey boba drink ever. Of course, when it came time to buy a birthday gift for a friend, I thought about The Remonant and specifically made a trip down to get a Honey Boba candle for her since she loves boba and sweet scents. The full size candles are packaged in such a luxurious way with a black ribbon and a cool matte heavyweight cardboard. It feels so mature, even though this is a more fun scent. I could just pop this in a gift bag and be done since the packing is so nice. On the drive back, the aroma of the candle filled my car and I regretted not getting a candle for myself lol. It was a nice day today and so parking was kind of hard to find. There's a small parking area in front that was absolutely full. I had to park in a 15 min take out spot for the restaurant next door so I didn't get to chat with the owner unfortunately as I was worried about getting ticketed/towed, but it sounds like they are expanding their selection of scents. I was immediately drawn in by the beautiful candles and accessories. They had these really cute claw clips with animals, custom luxury combs and brushes, local organic skincare products, and amazing candles and fragrances. Their candle scents are things I have rarely seen before- so creative! I wanted a rose candle and there were 3-4 totally different options. I ended up getting kind of a musky rose one and it smells like nothing I have ever smelled. The staff member who helped me was so cool ! They are black-owned, women-owned, and just have an amazing vibe. Would definitely come back to get gifts for friends or to even do a custom candle making class!
