Ok first of all the food here is amazing! I absolutely loved their loco moco and their bbq mix which was so full of flavor and cooked to perfection ( great job cooks) it made me feel as if i was back in Maui that I visited last year. Their service was ok not much of Hawaiian hospitality its as if the employees were forced to greet the customer something is missing. Employees were talking really loud and using profanity while making our drinks and smoothies our party of 6 took forever to get our drinks which was two blue hawwai a lemon passion fruit and boba. And if you ask me about the smoothies it took even longer! Thankfully my guests didnt notice much on the wait because they were busy devouring the food we order. And last but not least I believe having a hospitality hostess its a great addition to a business except here the eldery lady made us feel uncomfortable all we wanted was to eat and talk between us as a family but she didnt allow that she went as far as sitting down at our table her feet stretched out and continued talking and talking because of that they lost more stars. Maybe next time she can be nicer and give people space to enjoy their meal. Also i dont think it's professional that she explained to me and my family all the issues they have with their staff. I have given this a few tries And i agree with other comments on here. they don't seem to get the good service down. My first time i ordered food I was content with their portions and taste from my bbq chicken to my smoothies. But as time passed by and i tried it a few more times I noticed the smoothies changed flavors and so did the drinks. (Maybe they are changing recipes)?.. either way last week I tried for the 4th time and when I asked about my rice ball i was told they had given it to me which they had not!! And they even went as far as discussing with me that they did give it to me. As I explained the lady i had gotten my food and my boba and i was missing my rice ball she seemed to not care and just saying "well your going to have to wait for them to make you one more" not even an apology?! What kind of business is this? I will never be returning here again such a shame because they have great potential and prices they just lack on the quality of service. read more

This one star is only because the customer service doesn't match the food quality. I congratulate this business for its food quality but they do lack the most important things customer service and hospitality! I went in this morning 9-5-19 with both my daughters and i was not happy on the way the manager just took the freedom to give candy to my daughters without asking me if it was ok. Me as a mother i take their safety seriously and I'm sure no one would be ok with a stranger coming giving candy to their children not knowing if the candy is safe or getting parent permission. She should really take some customer service classes. You don't just go up to a child and start touching their head it made both my daughters very uncomfortable, Yes she may be able to talk ALOT!! This place has gone ghetto. It used to be my favorite place in visalia but the last 2 times i have come in it's sliding down. Didn't appear to be any managers in the store. There was a bunch of teenagers in the center table literally dancing and yelling and rapping and cussing in the middle of the floor. No one asked them to quiet down. The music itself in the store was also very loud and it wasn't Hawaiian music for sure. The girl that took my order could have cared a less about me as a customer. Also the stores policy on covid has been ridiculous from the beginning but see the pictures for what they have up now at the counter. Also they took out their ice cream/ boba counter?? Came in not knowing what to order thankfully it was not busy today! Not only was i greeted by the front staff but i. Was also greeted by their GM, friendly workers here! The place is super clean nice set up as well you can tell they put their time and effort into making this place feel like home!! Ordered the family meal for me and my buddies which their manager cooked for us along with some help of his staff the food was fast not to mention it was tasty!!! If your looking for a bomb hawaiian restaurant give this place a try not to mention their home teas which the front girl helped us with because there was a good amount to choose from!!! Came in because my compa at work told me how good the food was when he came on his break The staff was nice good service It was really clean which was good considering how busy it seemed to be The food is off the charts! Was craving Hawaiian food today for lunch so decided to stop by since i was already at target ordered a bbq mix to go! It was around 12 not to mention they had their lunch rush as well but the wait time went by fast! Received my food within minutes! No complains there! If you like Hawaiian food, this is the spot. Authentic flavors, generous portions and top notch quality. You really feel like your on the island! The owners went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They made sure our shave ice was served after dinner, for maximum enjoyment!
