Gosh what a super cute cafe!! A perfect stop from a jog or hike from Diamond Head. Starting from a lovely morning plate of egg salad on toast or cheese sugar for $4 each with drink purchase I need to try this a nice start to your day. Though I did make it before 11 I really wanted to have their French toast and got the Berry Berry. What beautiful plate of color splash almost too pretty to eat it's loaded with flavor of Berry syrup topped with strawberries and blueberries and a side of maple syrup just in case lol! Staying in my fruity zone it was a pineapple Passionfruit soda which was so super refreshing and perfect not sweet at all but very flavorful and refreshing, I can see myself having this regularly though I really couldn't taste the Passionfruit at and wondered if there was any unit at all. What a cute little cafe situated in a newly renovated house setting on Monsarrat avenue near Pioneer Saloon. There is parking behind the building or on the street. Small and cute cafe, came after kokohead for some smoothies. Got the mango passion smoothie, green smoothie, and split a mochico chicken and garlic shrimp plate. Both the smoothies were a bit mild on flavor. The mochiko chicken and shrimp were flavorful! They definitely lean healthy here on the Mac and rice. The rice has other grains in it. I originally saw this place on Tiktok, so when I was in the area I made sure to visit. It's a cute cafe that has much more than drinks; they serve breakfast items as well as plate lunches. We ordered two drinks, the first one was a strawberry one and another was a pineapple based drink. Both were very refreshing and delicious. Lots of seatings indoor & outside. I believe they have a small parking lot on the side, but if you're hiking Diamond Head it's easier to walk over. Definitely stopping by again! read more

What a great addition to a busy well populated street! This cafe is a perfect place to have a drink and a light snack (I recommend their toast special). I personally ordered the soy latte which was a decent size for the price along with their toast special which is $4+ if you purchase a beverage. The choices for the toast was between cheese and egg salad. I tried both of them and each were flavorful with the cheese option leaning towards the sweeter side. The bread was also Japanese style and it was fluffy and delicious. This +$4 special also includes a small salad and a fruit. What a great deal!! While they do not have any iced teas, they have a variety of sodas. The sodas tasted like it was made with fresh fruit and the pineapple soda also came with a generous wedge of pineapple. Parking: There's a small lot in the back of the cafe with limited stalls. I got lucky but you may have to park on the street nearby. read more

Cute new cafe on Monsarat! The interior is clean, chic, and very comfortable!! A great place to catch up with a friend or sit and do some work! The staff is incredibly friendly, and the menu is simple but unique! The smoothies here are really good as well, so it's a great place to grab a refreshment after hiking Diamond Head or something! I love that they keep their front door open! There are indoor seats, but the open air feel is very comfortable. There are a few tables outside as well. There are only about 3 or 4 spaces in the back parking lot, plus it's super hard to get in and out of, so I recommend finding street parking. On my morning run (ok more like a jog/walk or heavy breathing/panting session), I came across this new spot. After a little googling, I found that there are Aloha Cafe Pineapple locations in Japan. The cafe is super cute with a decent amount of indoor space (open air) and three outdoor tables. It's a breakfast and lunch spot with drinks, smoothies and bowls, breakfast food, and lunch plates. I ordered a latte with caramel and added on the "Morning Plate" which I basically fun toast for an additional $4. This light bite was under $10. I chose the cheese sugar toast. Sounds strange but tasted great! The bread it's self was thick and soft. It came with a side salad and a pineapple slice to balance out the meal. I thoroughly enjoyed the sweet service, the ambiance and my food and drink and will return to try the lunch plates and cute, colorful sodas. Just note for you all hard core coffee people or coffee snobs, the only have almond and soy milk. Also, the syrups are not sugar free. The morning set is very affordable but you must order a drink so it's like a drink & beverage set. The have coffees, smoothies and speciality sodas. They have outdoor seating but the sun is too strong. Plenty of seating indoors. This is leisure dining. They have one staff in the am and a second comes in at noon. Came here for a late lunch on Sunday. We parked on the street and walked up. I enjoyed my taco rice. It legit reminded me of Okinawa. Someone here mentioned that they weren't asked how they wanted the egg cooked when they ordered theirs but that typically isn't done with this dish. My girlfriend enjoyed her chicken and shrimp. We stumbled upon this darling restaurant as we were looking for a grocery store. It was exactly what we had in mind for breakfast. Everything I've been wishing for in a little cafe! Except, they don't serve tea so I might need to start drinking coffee. Very Japanese style morning set with either egg salad or cheese sugar toast plus a drink. Cheese sugar might sound a little strange but it's amazing--trust me! It also comes with a little bit of mixed greens with goma dressing. Super Japanese style Western breakfast to have salad and I love it :) If you wait until 11am they switch to lunch and their taco rice is delish (but not spicy) and their tartar chicken is actually chicken nanban so deep fried chicken pieces dipped in a vinegar sauce and served with an egg/tartar sauce on top. Really good but I think a little more sauce would make for a better bite ratio. So much attention to detail in the presentation makes the experience even better. I will be back! read more

We ended up getting the cafe latte (one iced, one hot) and ordered the service meal add on which included egg salad toast or cheese sugar toast, a small salad, and a piece of pineapple. We tried both toast options and they were great, even the sugar toast (strange combo but it worked)! The salad was a nice touch and the pineapple was juicy and sweet.
