I complained about people parking in front or by my home and I was told to go hunting for where they lived so they can address the fine. I received a current violation without warnings. They stated I received two courtesy letters which we never received. The letter received already assessed a fine. Our neighbors and neighborhood doesn't follow any of our guidelines. People still park in the streets and by our house all the time. Trash cans never get put in back yards and stay in front of peoples homes. Garages are still used for living spaces . I got a fine for tree branches hitting our home. For a company that prides in customer service has ineffective communication with home owners who actually follow the rules but there are homeowners that continue to have non maintanced yards and trash bins in front of their yard.

The property is the Strawberry Cabin - Fire Pit, Fireplace & Pets on VRBO and AirBNB. I fully expect to get trashed for leaving this review as Brenden Hesser attempted to intimidate and he threatened me when I told him I was looking forward to sharing my experience. While this is a cute home, it is not what is advertised and it is not being well maintained. The fireplace never worked correctly and this is you main heat when it's cold (it is a gas fireplace) when the handyman came out to "fix" it, he told me the reason there is no flame is because the glass of the fireplace is filthy on the inside and, unfortunately, there was no way for me to access this to clean it and he did not. The TV didn't work and needed service by the handyman. The cabin is also not remote like the description suggests. The location is nice, it's just not what is in the description. It is a nice sub-division not a remote getaway in the woods. We were also without water for about 2 hours on our second day. The handyman said they have been servicing the water throughout the development all week but no one thought to tell me that prior to booking. The towels also smelled so badly that I had to wash them prior to using them. I plan on reporting this to VRBO and other agencies to hold Hesser accountable and make sure people know what they buy. Realtors in AZ are held to a higher standard. I am thankful Visa protects my purchase. Now I suppose I wait for the promised retaliation.

So they had an answer waiting for me I just wasn't important enough to call back. There are planning to leave me without Gas for over a week meaning I have no heat in the lows of 45 degree weather, can't do any laundry, can't cook any food, don't have any hot water. This is how they will leave you if you rent from them. Save yourself the trouble and find literally any other company. I've since asked for a rent reduction for the days I won't be able to live in the home, but as usual like every other time I call or email, I have no gotten a response.

They claim that since we forgot some stuff in a cabinet and the vents were no spotless they had to clean it again, It would have taken a cleaner 10 minutes to do what they claim we missed. Before we left paid for the carpet and tiles to be professionally clean and that was NOT ENOUGH, they had to hire somebody to charge $325 for cleaning 2 sports! Also they sent us an invoice from a cleaning company, I called the number and the lady told me SHE DID NOT CLEAN OR GENERATED THAT INVOICE. Dealing with them is a nightmare. Out of our $2000 deposit they took $400+ with vague charges, like the cleaning and "Tenant Charge" for $75. I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH, DO NOT RENT FROM THERE IF YOU CAN AVOID IT!

When there is a maintenance request, it is usually taken care of within 48 hours. There have been several over the years, but they were right there ready to support! The most recent support was given by Nelle, and team, to work with us and the landlords to figure out a way to make the rent payments as we fell on hard times financially. Everyone was understanding and willing to support, while treating us like humans. Life happens, and they were willing to negotiate different methods to get through this time. I called the emergency line since no one was answering in the office, the person that answered, lectured about emergency protocols. For me is an emergency it has being going on for a month and now the garbage is overflowing out of the area. The garbage collector will not pick up once the dumpster is not accessible.
