High Turnover Rate of Community Managers We have had a different community manager every year for the past six years. This alarming turnover raises questions about the company's stability and management practices: What is causing such a high turnover rate? How can we expect effective management and continuity when we constantly change leadership? 2. Poor Accessibility to Management It is frustrating that it is difficult to contact Spectrum Management. I have noticed the following issues: There is no phone number listed on the general Spectrum website or the homeowner portal. The "Contact Us" section offers only three options: email, FAQs, and schedule a call. This situation makes it challenging for homeowners to voice concerns or seek assistance swiftly. After about 32 minutes on hold, I finally reached a representative, from San Antonio, through a local number I found on Google. This is far from acceptable for a professional management company. When we brought up the lack of transparency, the agent refused to release us from the lease, leaving us stuck paying for amenities we specifically chose but could not use. To make matters worse, the agent and other employees entered our unit without prior notice or authorization and discarded some of our personal belongings. This was both unacceptable and a serious breach of trust. Based on our experience, I strongly recommend avoiding this company. The gas to my rental was cut off because…read morethe of my neighbor, when I called the people at Mark Browers they agreed it was ridiculous, I didn't receive a call back, so I called them back, and I was told their hands were tied. So they had an answer waiting for me I just wasn't important enough to call back. There are planning to leave me without Gas for over a week meaning I have no heat in the lows of 45 degree weather, can't do any laundry, can't cook any food, don't have any hot water. This is how they will leave you if you rent from them. Save yourself the trouble and find literally any other company. I've since asked for a rent reduction for the days I won't be able to live in the home, but as usual like every other time I call or email, I have no gotten a response.
