First time trying this place under the new management. Ordered döner kebab sandwich. It was very good. Then tried their baklava, very good as well. Service was also very good. They have indoor and outdoor seating. There is plenty of parking in front of the restaurant. I will definitely be back to try other food.

Where do I start? I discovered this hidden gem when I went to Essential Nails for my mani/pedi. While sitting in the chair, the heavenly aroma of spices and charred meat convinced me to place a to-go order. It quickly became the norm when getting my nails done. Tonight, we decided to eat inside the restaurant. The staff was warm and friendly. We saw these beautiful dishes on other diners' tables and wanted to try them. They did not disappoint! We ended up going with a family style dinner that came with three appetizers, kabobs, rice, grilled vegetables and the fresh baked Turkish pita. They brought us some perfectly brewed Turkish tea, the best pistachio baklava and Turkish ice cream. We will definitely come back! Please support local restaurants

The food was really delicious! I loved the tea, and the pizza was so tasty. The meat was perfectly cooked--tender and flavorful. Everything was fresh and honestly made me want to come back again!

We loved the food, service was amazing and fast. Restaurant was so clean, and also nice vibe. We were greeted when walked in , friendly staff and all were so nice. We ordered mainly chicken plates . Their Maskhan is authentic 5/5. Kofta Sandwich was 4/5 , they need to make kofta skewer bigger, but taste again DELICIOUS ! Chicken on Charcoal was good, juicy 4/5 . Hummus OOMG ! Finally we have a very nice vibe and delicious food together in one restaurant in Anaheim!!! Also, food portions like Half Maskhan can be for 2 !

tabouleh and mixed kebab plate

Food was soooo delicious! we did wait a little for the food but only because they make it all fresh and had just got a new grill- so worth the wait. We also got complimentary tea to end the meal since this place is family served and traditional! So pretty inside and an adorable kid opened the door to let us in

This was my first visit to Al Manjal, and I was truly impressed by both the food and the service. Everything we ordered was fresh, savory, & full of flavor. My absolute FAVORITE part of this place was the customer service. Everyone was exceptionally warm and welcoming. It is a beautiful family-owned business, and the passion and care behind it are felt throughout the entire restaurant. The interior is bright, inviting, & spotless, which made the experience even more enjoyable for me. Our server was Basak and she was incredible! I will definitely be returning

Food was delicious and very good customer service owners are very good desert is very delicious

They never open at 9 am and they never pick up the phone calls for any order as far as the food is good.

My tops were the Zaatar and the cheese bread. I imagine it's hard to go wrong, however. Some of the dishes were a bit spicy for me, but it was nothing a splash of the provided lemon slice and the great pickles couldnt cut through. Overall, loved it and would come back. Ah and we ended our meal with some incredibly fresh tasting baklava for about a dollar a piece. No skimping on nuts either! Loved this and cant wait to come back!

From the moment you walk in, you already see people walking out with boxes on boxes which tells you everything. This is the kind of place you come to eat and to cater. They do have plenty of seating, but during peak hours it definitely gets crowded and packed. A true sign of how loved this place is. The ambiance adds to the experience too. I especially love the Middle Eastern paintings on the walls. It gives the space a warm, cultural, and authentic feel. First off, the bread. All house made and incredibly fresh. You can taste the quality in every bite. From the dough to the toppings, everything feels intentional and authentic. The spinach pies... absolutely next level. Spinach packed generously and bursting with that bright, zesty lemon flavor, mixed with onions and olive oil. Perfectly balanced and so satisfying. Muhamara had a nice kick today. It had a medium spice level with just enough heat to keep things interesting (and honestly, I love that it varies a bit. It feels homemade every time). The cheese manaeesh is a WOW. The cheese blend they use is so good. I'm lactose sensitive and somehow never feel bloated after eating it which says a lot. And the safiha... You can literally taste the depth of the seven spices, with a hint of cinnamon that ties it all together beautifully. Everything is made to order. So yes be prepared to wait at least 20 minutes. But trust me, it's 100% worth it. Quality like this takes time. What really seals the deal is the people. The owners and staff are beyond welcoming. The kind of place where you instantly feel like family. I've become a regular, and every visit feels like coming home. Authentic, fresh, flavorful, and made with heart. Don't sleep on this spot.

For two, we ordered the "individual portions" of Mandi Chicken (young chicken roasted with Yemeni spices) & Lalamb Haneeth (a roasted young lamb that falls off the bone). These were both served over a large platter of Mandi rice and came with Yemeni sauce and yogurt. It was expertly made, yet still gave us the warmth of a homestyle meal. The generous portions resulted in a second meal for me! On a Tuesday night, this place was quite packed with friends and families. It seems like wonderful place to host parties or business meetings. Someone nearby us had a birthday, and a group of staff came out with a dessert, blasting a traditional birthday song over the speakers and encouraged the whole restaurant to clap along! Despite the large gatherings, the restaurant is a no-reservation spot. They have a covered patio outside to seat an overflow of customers in case. Thankfully, my boyfriend and I were seated right away. They had a contactless menu, and we scanned a QR code to check our food options, but a server took our order and offered great recommendations once we waved him down. I would love to come back and try other dishes, like their grilled chicken or lamb--as well as the desserts and teas !!

I don't like writing bad reviews for small businesses, but we were almost SCAMMED. 1. It was so hard to get the servers' attention, even when pressing the ringer button at our table. They completely ignore the ringing sound every single time. 2. We had to ask for basic things that should have been provided already before we asked. They served us the salad without any utensils or plates. We had to ask for the sauces that were explicitly written were part of our meal. And every single time we had to ask, we NEVER received an apology. 3. This was the last straw cuz at this point, it felt like we were being targeted. They charged us for an extra lamb dish that costed more than any of the dishes we ordered. When we brought this up, NO APOLOGY.

Was craving some Turkish Pide which is a Turkish flatbread usually with meat, cheese and sauce and…read moresaw this place offered it so wanted to give it a try. I tried my first one in Seattle at a place called Miss Cafe and really enjoyed it. This restaurant is located in a large plaza so there was plenty of parking. Upon walking in it was pretty busy on a Sunday around 11:30am, we were seated immediately. As we were leaving, there were plenty of people waiting for a table. Food I was hoping to order a combination juju boat but the waitress taking our order mentioned the beef is out of stock so therefore we ordered the Juju chicken pide. The flatbread was cooked nicely, the dough was thin, every bite didn't feel too heavy. However the chicken was really dry and didn't feel like there was enough sauce/cheese, ended up putting some garlic sauce on top and it made it a little better. We also ordered the combination platter which came with lamb Kofte, beef/chicken kebab and two sides. We chose hummus and salad as the two sides and it paired well with the plate. The beef was a little dry but the Kofte and chicken were pretty good. They also served us two flatbreads which was nice for wrapping the meat and dipping in hummus. The hummus tasted very fresh and clean with delicate flavors, wish it had a little more tart. Side salad was simple and fresh with olive oil and lemon juice. The Kebbah was piping hot but didn't have much flavor, think it needed some sort of sauce. Overall, the ingredients tasted very fresh and minimalistic but definitely can do with a bit more seasoning or sauce for flavor. Service was friendly and not overly attentive. The servers didn't offer any water or drinks. Almost every table had tea so we flagged down someone to place an order after ordering our meal. There was a little mishap with our order but the owner came over to the table and cleared up the misunderstanding and asked us if we needed anything. Didn't seem like they had a lot of staff for such a busy morning. The space felt very clean and very lively with the lunch rush.

I got their "bowl with everything" with chicken (which they recommended), and it was incredible. Every single component tasted fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The chicken was seasoned so well, the toppings were vibrant and crisp, and all the sauces and dips tied everything together perfectly. It's one of those meals where every bite somehow gets even better. Honestly, I wish I had a bigger stomach so I could just keep eating because it was THAT good. And don't skip the fresh pita...it's warm, soft, fluffy, and dangerously addictive. I could easily order a dozen of them alone.
