We visited during the first high season after the pandemic had transformed the Australian restaurant business with low staffing and high demand. So there was a lengthy delay in getting our food. But these things happen and the restaurant took care of us in an appropriate way, which we greatly appreciated.
And it turned out the food was worth the wait. Pillowy soft tortillas, charred avocados, elevated salsas and guacamole, and the fresh seafood the area is known for. It was more soulful Mexican food than you're likely to find in the States, let alone the Northern Beaches.
The only reason for 4 stars is they need to fry the damn tortilla chips instead of baking them! read more
