Tried Allyn's for the first time on a Friday night and there was a good crowd but we got seated right away! We ordered some sides to share before our meals and the Cajun fries were soo good. Our server had the answer to any question we asked (a lot) and was really helpful! The dirty rice was amazing - it was like a toned down jambalaya- definitely a must get side dish! The flavor in the mardi gras noodles was amaaazing!!! I was also shocked at how the regular jambalaya and vegan jambalaya tasted so similar - the only difference was the regular one having a bit more spice. This was also my first time trying catfish and this was cooked perfectly - like melt in your mouth with great flavor and it was breaded /fried perfectly. Can't wait to come back!

We enjoyed our dinner at Allyn's where I choose to eat the soup sampler with delicious chili and jambalaya. The corn bread was amazing and the service was fast. The restaurant doesn't have a lot of parking but across from the restaurant there's a big parking lot. The restaurant is pretty big and has a bar to sit at. I really appreciated the gluten free, vegetarian and vegan choices they had on the menu.

finally got around to popping into Allyn's on a monday afternoon & it was SO good. service was great and the food was delicious & filling! my boyfriend was very happy to see bell's two hearted on tap (i guess cincy doesnt have a lot of that around here hahah). happy hour options were good & $1 wing monday special was worth it!

First time trying this place, but it won't be the last. I had a really nice burger that was cooked exceptionally well. The Cajun fries were hot, fresh and spicy too. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly. This place has a comfortable vibe as well. Can't wait to come back and try more Cajun cuisine.

Excellent food and service! It is a casual place that has a lot of history and has been around more than 30 years. I think it started out as a blues club. There's a bunch of nostalgic memorabilia on the walls. They have a pretty large menu that also includes gator. There's a cute little patio out back. They sell beer and wine. You can buy beer by the 6 pack and wine by the case. The food was good hot and tasty.

This place has so many vegetarian / vegan options! It has a fun dive bar feel and showcases New Orleans style drinks and food. They even have hurricanes on the cocktail menu! We ordered the mozzarella sticks which were great with the tomato sauce. Also ordered the the jackfruit bbq sandwich. It could have been seasoned and sauced a little more but overall good portion and something different. It comes with a small side of coleslaw and your choice of another side, we got the Cajun fries which were delicious!! These were perfectly seasoned and we got bbq and chicago sauce for dipping. Also ordered the vegan hot dog but got it with regular cheese. The chili is so hearty and the vegan dog is flavorful. The side we chose was broccoli which was simple steamed broccoli but tasted great! You can ask for a hot sauce caddy that has 4-5 hot sauces , some made in house! It can be difficult to find street parking so give yourself enough time. Also a minor annoyance...the booths are positioned right up against each other so anytime the person behind me moved around in his booth it would kind of bump me forward so the whole meal was this back and forth booth back war which wasn't very pleasant :/

Wish I tried this sooner! Great vegan options and so tasty! I tried their pumfu for the first time and I'm hooked! Hubs got the vegan jambalaya (maybe add a bit more sausage?) and hush puppies. Flavors were kickin'! Only thing I wish they would offer is gluten free/vegan buns or bread (O'Dough's? Little Northern Bakehouse? Or Schar?). I'd love to try the burgers but having 'lettuce wrap' options just isn't the same. Not a complaint by no means, as food is great, just a suggestion for those of us that need gf options:)

We ate here for the 1st time and it was delish! The Mardi Gras pasta with gator was super good and the bread pudding... OMG! definitely will be back. The raspberry margarita was also very tasty!

Caitlin saved a table for us and we were greeted promptly when we arrived. It was super busy and nearly every table was full and people were waiting outside. Service was friendly and our drink orders were taken within a few minutes. We ordered 3 appetizers: yuca fries, crispy Brussels sprouts, guacamole and chips. My fave of the 3 was probably the guacamole: chunky and flavorful. I also liked the green sauces that came with the Brussels and yuca fries. The yuca fries were large, like steak fries. They come on a smallish plate and probably best for 2-3 people to share. Same for the Brussels sprouts. The guac and chips were on a large plate and there was a generous amount of guac (larger portion than the other sauces). Plenty of chips to share among our table. There were 2 fish fry orders from our table and no complaints. Little Mister thought it was "great" and he ate the entire thing except for the coleslaw, of which he is not a fan anyway. I had the Caesar salad with grilled chicken. I really liked the generous serving of chicken and it was perfectly cooked and tender. The dressing was tasty and the croutons were crunchy. The lettuce was shredded more than chopped which is fine. Overall it was a decent Caesar. I like having a Caesar option at pub. The Brussels sprouts were decent also. Somewhat crispy though not as crispy as hubs would have liked. I usually order crispy Brussels whenever possible when we go out and I'd give these a mid to high 4 of 5 stars. The sauce was delicious. Our plates were cleared a couple of times during our meal even though every server was super busy and we did have plenty of water. Parking is sometimes available on the street directly in front of the pub but there is also parking a short walk as well. There's dessert next door as well as at UDF for a short walk. Fun area with a lot going on and I like that there are outdoor patio seating options as well. I would definitely come back here. Mid 4 stars, happily rounded up to 5.

The Brussels sprouts were excellent, but if course they were. My biggest issue was the value. Everything is ala carte and kinda pricey. I think my solo chicken sandwich was $16. No sides, not even chips. It was good, but ... We drive by here all the time. The value, or lack thereof, makes me question whether we'll stop again.

We had a large party, and our waiter, Lil D, didn't miss a beat. He was super friendly, attentive, and always seemed to be right there whenever we needed something. The cars that move around on the ceiling are currently down while they're being repainted, but that's always one of our favorite features when we visit. Our food came out hot and delicious. The Jiffy Burger is one of my favorites! I always ask for the peanut butter on the side because they tend to be a little generous with it on the burger. They also sang for our birthday girl and brought her a complimentary bowl of ice cream, which was a fun touch. The only suggestion I'd make is to skip the extremely loud horn sound when someone at the bar leaves a tip or when the staff comes out to sing for birthdays. It's really loud and can be pretty distracting. We also love the fun car-themed sinks in the bathrooms and the automotive-themed napkin holders and food wraps. They have a cute selection of swag, too, including T-shirts, cups, hats, and more. We'll definitely be back!

I found myself halfway through the signature burger, marveling at the assembly--not a bolt out of place, everything in its proper station and the lettuce crisp as a cold-rolled steel sheet. A man appreciates a system that functions without chatter or delay. Sitting here near the assembly plant's ghost, I couldn't help but admire the vintage fittings; they've managed to capture the spirit of progress without the clutter of modern inefficiency. My wife has a constitution that demands specific care, and the server handled her requirements with the precision of a master machinist, wasting no time on unnecessary pleasantries but delivering exactly what was ordered. The restrooms, surprisingly, have a sense of humor, though humor is a luxury I generally leave to the salesmen. It is a good price for an honest meal, constructed with a respect for speed that would make a production line foreman nod in approval. It is a well-oiled operation and I shall return to see if they can maintain this level of output." And normal: From the moment i stepped in... the atmosphere hit me like a wave. It was a perfect blend of vintage charm and modern sophistication with antiques that told stories of a bygone era. The restrooms while quirky, added a unique touch to the experience. What truly stood out was the service. It was swift and efficient, with our server going above and beyond to accommodate my wife's allergies. Grant our server did amazing job ! I ordered the Ford signature burger, and it was an absolute masterpiece. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the quality was exceptional. The presentation was top-notch, and the speed at which it arrived was impressive. This was one of the best burgers I've ever had, and i couldn't be more satisfied with my dining experience. Overall, Ford's Garage is a must-visit for anyone looking for a high-quality, efficient, and enjoyable meal. The prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is truly special. i highly recommend this place to anyone who loves food and wants to experience a unique dining experience. - Atmosphere: 9/10 - Food Quality: 9/10 - Service/Flow: 10/10 - Value: 8/10 - Would Return: Yes.
