This was my second time here, I loved my experience with my first time at this studio that I had to come back. The inside of the studio is gorgeous, modern but still warm and cozy. I think I arrived 15-10 minutes early, and was seen a few minutes after I sat down. My hairdresser was Ailan, and she is the sweetest. She was very gentle with the hair wash and precise with the haircut. I showed her pictures of what I wanted, and she truly delivered! Not a lot of talks among the techs! Last year, I started to have alot of my clients travels. Between works travel or my college clients go to a new city for college. So I have to network with other techs to see if they can get my clients in when my clients can't see me. That way, I know where they going and tech's works are close to mine, so when clients come back to me. It won't be a major headache incase I need to fix it... Darlene did just that. She have a couple of clients that were heading toward Charlotte NC and she contacted me.. She gave me their history.. So I'll know. I have a chance to review her work Thursday.. After 3 weeks from the initial full set. There isn't much for me to do.. None of the lashes stick together. The lashes density and length is perfect and fit to the client's natural lashes.. Her lashes are clean and beautiful. A gorgeous set.. Techs like myself appreciate work like this., comon now, who wouldn't. After 3 weeks. Wanted to get it done for the first time to check it out. I mainly found two places that had the service My lash girl being one of them. The other place is much bigger and has more of a name but I like to shop locally. I spoke to Darlene over the phone with some questions, she directed me to the website to book an appt. I went through with the request put in my info and everything but no where was there an option to book an appt or see her availability. I called again, sent a text with my availability. Waited TWO DAYS for a reply and then finally got an appt scheduled. THEN, Darlene texts me 3 HOURS BEFORE MY APPT to say that she won't make it back to Katy in time. I'm so upset as now it's been more than a week since trying to make an appt and I finally make one and she cancels on me. She has a strict no show/cancellation policy she holds her customers to but then just unprofessionally cancels appts on customers. I don't get it. She knew she had my appointment why would she not plan accordingly. So we find a new time to reschedule for 3 days later. **I'm finally at my appointment and she starts by asking me how curly I want them. I told her I wanted them the curliest. Then as I'm laying and she's already put the stickies on my eyes and everything she asks if I want "WHISPS OR BABYDOLL". Now this is the first time I ever do anything to my lashes never done extensions or even falsies, so I have nooo idea what she's referring to. She explains the whisps are like flared that pair perfectly with winged eyeliner or Babydoll which are just pretty and curly. I had no idea which one I wanted such a hard decision for me to make at that second without prior knowledge of what she's talking about. So she says she can do an in between one she does for people who can't decide. So I figure that's the best bet since I have no idea what either would look like. The last step for sure burned a lot but I wanted them curled and tinted as much as possible so I put up with it. Once it was all done and I got to see them, I definitely expected them to have come out curlier. But I figured that's just how they look now but they look better and I just didn't want to be disappointed. But I'm so disappointed. My left eyelashes definitely look whispy they all tilt to the left so my front lashes in my inner corner are non existent. My right eye lashes are curled in the middle but not the inner or outer corner and they're not curled all the way just a middle length curl. The point of getting your lashes permed is so you can skip the step of curling them everyday. I STILL HAVE TO CURL MY LASHES EVERYDAY :( The problem is they don't curl evenly or like they use to because of that jacked up perm she gave me. My eyelashes look stupid everyday now I'm so sad! I'm highly disappointed and frustrated for wasting my money, trusting Darlene & the good reviews(that are mainly for extensions), and for messing up my lashes. I was better off before coming in and now I have to wait weeks for it to go away. Please save your money and lashes and go somewhere else. I'm sure she's just better at extensions then perming. She is way too busy to respond to calls or texts in time, isn't flexible for appts, and doesn't care if your happy with her work. She took before and after pictures of me, she said she would send them to me and never did. I asked her for them and she never sent them to me. I might update with a picture once I take my mascara off so you can see how bad they look.

I got my lashes done there and it was a terrible experience The lady attempted to tape my lashes down then decided I didn't need them taped. That should have been my first clue. She kept pressing under my eyes and pulling my eyes open she said to make sure I was not sticking. It hurt it was awful. She took about 20 minutes total to do my lashes. They werent the shape I asked for but they looked ok and I was ready to go. This was Saturday today is Tuesday and I have already removed them. She glued the lashes to my whole lash. When I removed them I found that they were not clusters at all. It was lash strips cut into sections that she glued to my eyelid, lashes, and lash line. AWFUL experience I do not recommend!! I hate when I pay good money for a service and the technician is just trying to make a quick buck, cutting corners and trying to do the least work possible.
