I really enjoyed going to Hannah, her attention to detail is great! My sister was also seeing her but when she asked Hannah to fix a nail that was crooked, she was told by the receptionist that Hannah was no longer comfortable doing her nails due to this request. Their system of confirming appointments sometimes when they feel like it? And then turning you away the one time they they decide your appointment needs to be confirmed is flawed. They pick and choose when that applies and it is very inconvenient. I made a new appointment in person and when i came back for that appointment they alleged that they couldn't see me. They ended up seeing me but took me on a roller coaster for some reason. They charge additional for every single thing. "Shaping" your nails even when you got a fill in and have a shape, removing gel even though they're the ones who applied it, even a file (not even a cut) down is extra. Would recommend Hannah if you do end up going to this salon but consider the above info. read more

Please work on the customer service! The work itself is usually consistently good, but the customer service can sometimes be disappointing, like today. I called to ask if there were any openings, and I felt rushed, cut off mid-sentence, and was simply told, "Just come in anytime." It didn't seem like the person who normally works the front desk. When I arrived, I was seen right away and the service itself was done well, so I appreciate that. However, the person assisting me wasn't very friendly. I even asked how I could leave them a tip, and they seemed to roll their eyes. Overall, the quality of the work is good, but a more welcoming and professional attitude would really improve the experience, especially since prices have also gone up recently. read more

My second time here! I came to this salon only because my nail tech was fully booked and this time my service was horrible! I already had builder gel on my nails and I thought they would take them out to get a new set, which was the selection that I put when I booked my appt. 3 things that I didn't like: 1)she was rushing doing my nails and 3 nails had different lengths. 2) I wanted a smooth milky white nails and you can definitely see that she didn't apply the gel evenly. 3) less than 3 hrs when I left one nail broke and mind you I was just washing my nails, and I called them and they told me to go and I had to wait 1 hr. When she was fixing my nails she didn't even checked what type of technic she did on me ( I got polish gel) and she was gonna use acrylic powder which I hate and then she put on top of the polish gel and gel x tip which looked horrible and today after 2 days 2 nails are lifting up already but I didn't say anything cause I'm definitely NOT COMING BACK! I usually don't give bad reviews but this time it was necessary I almost paid $100 for bad nails and now days everything is expensive and I just want to let know future clients what to expect about this salon! read more

I think I have finally found my go to nail spot! Allure has been on my list of places to try, and I finally made it there. The only regret is that I didn't go sooner! I was greeted warmly as I walked into a well lit, very clean salon. I checked in on a tablet and followed Rachel to the pedicure chairs. She was friendly and made sure the temperature was good for me. I was offered complementary wine, fruit, and snacks. I didn't care for most of the snacks offered (personal preference, nothing on them), but I definitely appreciate the selection. I also love that they have branded towels! I picked out the color while Rachel worked on my pedicure. She did a great job. It was relaxing, and I didn't feel rushed. I got the gel add on and it has been a little over two weeks. When I came to this salon, I got a pedicure. The lady was so UNSANITARY. She reused tools that looked dirty and clearly has been used because I could see dead skin on it. I felt disgusted and felt like throwing up. When I pointed it out she got really huffy and puffy at me. She rolled her eyes and got another new pair of tools only after I asked and wouldn't let her use nasty used tools on me. I guess because she was mad at me, she ended up being really rough on my nails and cuticles. The skin around my nails was excessively pushed and cut with the mini scissors to the point where I was bleeding. Honestly this was the worst experience ever. I'm not sure if I should report them for misconduct? I have never been to a salon like this. Ghetto and trashy people. Don't let the fancy light fixtures and marble floors fool you. Now I'm scared that I'll have a fungal or bacterial infection. If you care about a safe and clean and respectful environment this is not the place for you. read more

I was really excited to try this nail salon that just opened up. I even requested Hannah as I had seen rave reviews for her and felt she had attention to detail and could live up to my standards and truly deliver. Upon entry, this place is gorgeous, clean, and sparkly. The salon is spacious, has a bar for aesthetics of course, and enclosed private pedicure sections. I was able to get my pedicure done in a private section while being served an assortment of snacks and wine, which I appreciated. I requested a French dip pedicure but she recommended using gel on top of the dip for the French as it would look nicer. Again, I've gotten the desired French look with just dip but I understand not everyone has the same skill level so I allowed her to use her method. When she did the French with gel, immediately they were took thick and she was well aware that she messed up and thought I wouldn't care or notice but I am very particular with my nails and it's why I chose her...because I thought she had a certain level of attention to detail. She could tell I was uneasy after she was done and I told her I couldn't leave like that and she'd have to redo them. She ended up drilling the white tip off and even some of the dip and it became thinner than the rest of the nail. She then put a thinner layer of the white gel for the French. Basically I was stunned because I expected her to take the whole nail off and start over like they normally do. But this lazy method she did left my nail with an awkward thin gap between the French tip and the rest of my nail if that makes sense...and I just knew my nail would break...which it eventually did. I had to come back a week later and she had to repair it. She didn't even bother using the same base color for the repair which was another strike against her and my nails just looked off. Because I was in search of a new nail salon home, I had such high hopes and expectations for my nails and this was just a big let down. I'm open to trying this place again but probably with a different nail tech. read more

Just visited this new nail salon nestled in the brand new remodeled Burtonsville shopping center! I called to book an appointment (can also book online or walk in). This place is aesthetically pleasing. Very clean! It doesn't smell like acrylic/toxic nail polish. I got a gel pedicure and did get extra stuff (callous removal etc). My total was about $80 and I got French tip! The seats in the front (waiting area) are heated and are also massage chairs. The space is huge. They have pedicure areas nestled in a corner so you have privacy. They also have them in an open area as well. While getting my pedicure, my nail tech brought me free snacks (fruit-grapes and cantaloupe, water, goldfish). She also brought me a delicious glass of white wine. Such a nice experience. Everyone was nice and my nail tech did an amazing job! read more

I went to this place expecting to have a relaxing mani pedi, when I walked in I asked for the best person to do a deep powder many, the person who was assigned to me, let's call him B, didn't even know how to wrap my nails, I had acetone dripping all over my clothes, when it was time for the pedicure, he didn't clean dead skin, (please know that I have a pedi somewhere else of course, every three weeks) my feet are very clean, no crack hills, so my pedi should have been easy, this guy didn't cut toe nails, didn't clean corners, since I am a walker, I want to make sure my nails are well trimmed, I asked him few times to please do those things, but I honestly think he doesn't know how to do nails, don't take me wrong, the guy was sweet and I felt bad for him, but he should be looking for a different job, when it was time for my mani, things got worse, didn't clean deas skin, and completely ruined the shape of my nails, I then asked to talk to a manager, the little guy with a huge attitude, asked me what was wrong and then asked me to go with someone else, let's call the second guy M. He immediately try to clean the dead skin and clean up the nails, while he watched videos on his cell, but since the previous guy had put some nail polish my skin was too dry, my nails way too short, but he try to do the best he could Now, my toe nails hurt, my mani looks not professionally done and it's Mother's Day weekend When it was time to pay, the manager, little man huge attitude made a mean comment, I told him how dissatisfied I was, and explained that money was never an issue, I even tipped the second guy, and the manager answered was, talk to the big guy, I am not the owner Sure they have good technicians, but it just wasn't my day read more

I have made a few appointments and my appointments kept getting cancel and no one would call about it and just cancel. it . Today I had some free time and wanted to get in and get my nails done and I see Hannah has a block open from 11-4. I was so excited to treat myself since it's been a while. . I got a phone call from the lady at the front desk saying that she is pretty book out for the rest of the day and she can't see you . I explain to her that on they website it shows they are open from 11-4. So when can I come in then. LEE at the front desk started switching her story around and then said that Hannah wasn't feeling too well and was gonna go home. And then at this point I put to together and they lies were coming out. I ask her why is it that every time I have schedule an appointment it kept getting cancel. You said she was book then you said she wasn't feeling well. What's the problem and I want to the speak to the owners of the location. The lady on the phone had the nerve to say that Hannah doesn't feel comfortable servicing me so I can see someone else. So it took a few lies to come out with the trust. It's not my fault the last time I was in there they give my appointment to someone after I called and said I was 5 mins away. The person on the phone started talking over me and was being disrespectful. She even had the rude comment to say well you give us a bad yelp review before just go ahead and leave us another one. I was hoping to help fix they mistake and leave a better review but we won't be spending a penny here again and will pass the word around. Again I wanted to you guys the benefit of the doubt and try you guys out again. But after this phone call and the way they don't have a management staff or a boss around is wrong. I really enjoyed this salon. Andy did my pedicure and Gel X nails. The salon is clean and well lit. All of the latest colors, styles and trends are available. The receptionist was very pleasant. My only concern was my eyebrow waxing, the young lady didn't do as well with the shape. I am hopeful though the receptionist's eyebrows looked great. Customers should not have to guess and check if the quality of their nail art is what they're asking for. This can make visits very frustrating especially when nail artists are obviously learning. I will not be going here again. I typically get dip at other nail salons. I came here for a dip manicure and gel pedicure. The man doing my nails insulted my dip and insisted I get builder gel which I told him I prefer dip he decided to do the builder gel despite what I told him. This is more expensive so my mani pedi in total cost $200 which is outrageous. It's now a week later and two of my nails have chipped. My nails never chip with my dip. On top of that my mani pedi took 3 HOURS. The vibes of this place may be inviting but the long service expensive price and awful conditions of my nails only a week later is ridiculous. This place is pricey! I had came here maybe about a few months ago and I came for a manicure and a pedicure and as nice as the place is the people suck for doing nails! I recently came back for a massage and there were a lot of flies in the sitting area. i told the front desk that i wanted to get a certain massage pack and he was confused about what it is that we were talking about. as a worker you should know the services you guys do. When I went to the back to start my massage I went into the room, they don't give you towel or a robe to wrap in so you just kind of have to pull up or down your shirt. The lady had the lights on the entire time and this other worker kept coming in and out my room. The lady that was doing my massage also had her phone on ringer, which was very loud when someone had called, and she also paused in between massaging my back to answer her phone. The lady massaging my back was doing it to hard with her elbow dinging in my spine and bones! My back was soar for about 3 days and I've never wanted 30 mins to go by so fast! Overall, the experience was terrible and unprofessional! I would give this a 3/10. If you want an actual experience I would recommend going to an actual spa! read more

Don't go here. My nail beds are officially deformed. Before coming here my natural nails were beautiful. I made the mistake of getting gel x at a different location. I came here for a removal and spent over $90 for removal they left acetone on my nails for over 20min and I had to request for them to remove the aluminum with the acetone. The man then proceeded to file my nail beds instead of removing them properly. My nails hurt for weeks after. Leaving my natural nails completely fragile. I couldn't even touch cold/hot water. I would absolutely recommend going elsewhere where. I understand they are there to make easy money but it should absolutely not be at the cost of the customers health. I tipped well too and it's a shame that I took my time to trust this nail salon. It seems that there goal is to rush through their clients. First.. I want to say that I have been going to this location since they have opened. Never had an issue but the last few times I have went... it has not been good! My nail tech (Rachael) was the bomb...so I thought. the last few times..she has been slipping, in which I let it go.. but this time I refused. I couldnt deal with it at the time because I had to leave.. but I went back so she could address the issue.. (I even tipped) and she had the nerve to have an attitude because she messed up. I faithfully get "Tap Gel" and it ain't cheap. One of my nails (my own) where bigger than the other.. she also cut my cuticle too deep, which caused it to bleed and also cut my toe... and all she could say was sorry at that point.
