I got sugaring done here for the first time ever. Giselle did a great job! This is only the second time I've gotten anything waxed on my body before (first time regular waxing elsewhere, this time sugaring here - both brazilian waxes). I would definitely go back to see her again. I am satisfied with my experience. She made It quick and easy. It was still painful at the beginning but that's expected, and that was the quick part, it didn't last long at all. The touch ups were pretty painless and that was a majority of the process anyway. Giselle is amazing! My first time being sugared (Brazilian) and she was wonderful. She explained to me that the process could be painful and distracted me by talking to me. She was gentle and quick. She explained what she was doing and why she was doing it the way that she was doing it (lol!). I also appreciated her comforting tone and offering humor throughout - the "yoga" pose! My appointment was for 4pm and I was back on the highway by 4:22pm. I didn't find the process painful, and I normally don't have a high tolerance for pain. If anything because she was so quick, it felt more like discomfort rather than painful. I plan to go back for a follow up. I found this spa through Groupon prior to the pandemic. My Groupon was expiring within the next week so decided to book an appointment for my sugar Brazilian wax about a week ago. Prior to arriving, Giselle was very friendly and helped me navigate as to where the spa was located. It is a little tricky to find, it's on the second floor and in the back kind of away from the Main Street. However there is a parking lot nearby and street parking as well on the main road. Due to the virus, prior to coming in, you have to sanitize and your temperature is checked. I booked online and she had several appointments available. Although i thought the sugar was would be just a smidge painful, when i tell yo that thang HURTTTTT! It hurtttt! Probably because i haven't had a wax in almost a year. I almost had a few tears roll down. But the results are well worth it! I will definitely be returning, Giselle did an amazing job and it really lasts and sugar waxes are so much better for sensitive skin. This was a weird experience for me because I had contacted someone for a sugaring appointment the same day. Then, I drove over to the spa and when I arrived, there was no one sitting at the front desk. I heard 2 women talking in the back and assumed that they were going to finish up soon and someone would come out to greet me. However, that did not happen, so then I waited a few more minutes and after about 10 minutes I said hello and they stopped talking as if they were pretending to be gone. At this point, I did not want any of them to help me with my sugaring because I was uncomfortable. This was the best hair removal experience I've ever had. I've been desperately trying to find someone I can trust to help me care for my bikini line and Giselle is the one. Side note: I was planning to get this done at my regular nail salon yesterday, but after the brutal treatment of my delicate underarms, I had had enough. I almost gave up. I want to see this woman when she was still working out of her apartment illegally in Laurel , when she moved to the shop I ended up making another appointment this was the WORST experience I've ever. She continued to tell me that she talked to me earlier and had a nasty attitude with me and I had not talked to her but she kept saying I called her earlier and I had an attitude with her.... What? Was also on the phone with somebody else while she was doing the service. She was completely unprofessional and just rude. And to think after the very first time I went I was recommending her to people that wanted to support minority owned businesses and for this woman to turn around and treat me in that manner was unbelievable. The first time I went to her was actually my first time ever getting any type of waxing down there, so I was really nervous about the pain and just the vulnerability of being exposed to someone else.
