I recently decided to upgrade my security system since technology has come a long way in 10 years…read more California Security Cameras did the upgrade for me and the entire experience was exceptional from start to finish. A quality security system is truly invaluable when you consider the peace of mind it brings, and this is a company you can absolutely trust. The process began with excellent communication from the office before any work was even scheduled; they provided quotes in a timely manner that were easy to understand and fit perfectly within my budget. What impressed me most was that they use only quality equipment, and Israel took the time to review both what I needed and what I didn't need, which was equally important to me. Israel and his team can be counted on to show up right on schedule and complete the work in a timely manner. The installation itself is top-quality, with a lot of care going into strategic placement to ensure total coverage. Before any work started, Israel walked through the property with me and openly listened to my needs before deciding on the final camera placements. Additionally, they are respectful of your home and animals while working. they take care to close gates and doors when coming in and out which was important to me. Once the installation was complete, he tested the entire system, ensured all cameras were adjusted properly, and then personally went over how to use the system. I'm the type of person who asks a lot of questions about projects before, during, and after, and Israel and his team made sure that I fully understood everything before wrapping things up. If you are looking for a professional, reliable security team, I highly recommend California Security Cameras!

He even pointed out some items in our attic that might need attention (a weak beam), and even engaged in some friendly conversation with my two year old that was wondering "What's he doing?" every 5 minutes. (Sorry if that slowed you down, Dan.) Bottom line: Dan's approach is genuine and authentic, and we highly recommend. THE BEST AUDIO VIDEO / ALARM / SECURITY CAMERA BUSINESS IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA!…read more One day (after about a year of reviewing) I decided to upgrade my home security camera system by adding Deep Sentinel. In case you're not aware, Deep Sentinel will either sell you their wireless security cameras, their POE wired cameras, or may be able to use your existing camera system to monitor your property 24/7 with "Live Guards!" So, I contacted Deep Sentinel who have excellent customer service by the way, and asked them if they could work with my existing Reolink camera system. Since they have never tried Reolink cameras, they told me that they'd try to see if Reolink was compatible with their Deep Sentinel Hub & technology, but they could not guarantee that it would work. They then recommended that I work with their premier vendor named Avati Audio Visual. I originally contacted Drew who was very helpful and from then on I dealt with Dick Hall who turned out to be Amazing! Since I was Deep Sentinel's first customer to try working with Reolink cameras, Dick had his work cut out for him. It took months of installations, troubleshooting, out of the box problem solving, numerous talks with both Deep Sentinel techs, as well as Reolink techs, just to get all of my cameras working. That's what happens when you're the guinea pig for a camera that's never been tried before. Anyway, after months of Dick's determination and him not giving up on me, he finally got my Reolink camera's to successfully work with the Deep Sentinel system! He is definitely an asset to Avati Audio Visual, Deep Sentinel, and the tech / installation industry as a whole. He needs to be commended for all that he does and given a raise! If you need any type of TV, Audio, tech, speaker, security system or camera systems installed, look no further!

I was…read moreshopping for either DIY or professional install of security cameras -- for no particular reason at this time. And I only planned to have cameras installed after some work that was scheduled to be done on my new house. I reached out to Eyal of Protection Now via Yelp a few days before the escrow closed on my house. Eyal spent an hour on FaceTime as I showed him around the house to discuss the number and location of cameras needed. The house seemed untouched when it was filled with staging furniture for weeks. Stagers removed the furniture over the past weekend. Upon my visit at the house on Monday, I noticed the patio door of the ground-floor master bedroom was unlocked. I then saw there was water all over the master bathroom floor, the toilet seat was up, the shower door was wide open, residual water inside the bathtub basin, AND there was a lighter on the bathroom counter. Moments later as I was measuring the room, I noticed a partial footprint on the window sill and dirt smear on the side wall of the window. Of course, I called Eyal immediately. He speedily set in motion to get my cameras installed the next day. When Eyal and his team arrived on Tuesday, Eyal made a much-appreciated authoritative suggestion to me to also install an alarm system. They completed the installation of both security cameras and many alarm sensors in one day. Ernesto made sure the apps were set up correctly on my iPhone and patiently gave me a tutorial of the NVR functions. Everything was fully operational by the end of the day. All were done timely and within my budge to feel so much safer. Thank you, Eyal and team of Protection Now!

They recently completed a complex, multi-building installation for our condominium association--designing and setting up a 20-camera security system. The job required numerous long, difficult wire runs through finished interior spaces, and they handled it flawlessly. When we were interviewing vendors, Eyal stood out immediately. Unlike others who tried to sell us standard off-the-shelf templates, Eyal actually listened to our specific needs, working collaboratively and creatively to design a system tailored precisely to our property. Whenever we hit seemingly unsolvable logistical hurdles, his inventiveness and perseverance provided a smart solution every single time. His team--specifically Ernesto and Manuel--were an absolute pleasure to work with. They are exceptionally hard workers who take immense pride in their craft. Their attention to detail was outstanding, and they took great care to preserve the aesthetic appearance of our interior spaces during the wiring process. Clean, professional, and thorough from start to finish. If you are looking for someonewho is innovative, reliable, and truly cares about the quality of their work, hire Eyal and Protection Now.

I read most of the Yelp reviews on AEC Alarms. Many reviews were extremely negative and all of them…read morewere very old. To be fair with AEC Alarms, I decided to submit my own reviews as a recent AEC customer. In year 2023, AEC installed two new fire alarms systems for my two SF buildings. I dealt with Yat-Cheong Au, who was professional and responsive. Including AEC, I had three vendor proposals, and AEC was the lowest one. I decided to go with AEC and my experience has been pleasant and positive. They installed the two fire alarm systems as promised and passed the building inspections. The monitoring service has been okay too. My two systems have been online for six months and the only service issue was one time the alarm was continuously beeping after a power outage. I called AEC service and they walked me through the system reset procedure. After that, no more service issues. If I have any updated information on the AEC fire alarm systems and their monitoring service, I will post my reviews here again.

The alarm itself works (when in working order, of course); however, their service dept. is incredibly bad. We had issues with sensors and it would take days for a technician to come out and fix it. They told us the only way to arm it is to bypass that sensor (defeats the purpose of having sensors). We had service scheduled to come out 2 days later. The main reason for this review is because they canceled that service on us AND we were burglarized last night. The burglar ripped out the keypad. We called to let them know what happened, no sense of urgency on their end to help us. We are still waiting for them to call us back since their services department was not answering. Please go elsewhere as I am about to cancel my contract. There are much better services out there with comparable pricing.
