Positives: when he actually did show up, he performed the installation thoroughly and made manual adjustments to all our exterior cameras until we had the desired field of view on each one. He also did a professional job neatly tacking all the camera cabling to the house. Camera system works very well, and he's a pleasant young guy - BUT... Negatives: 1. He no-showed us on the first appt.and it took multiple calls/emails/txts to reach him for a resked date. When he finally returned our call, he said the equipment hadn't arrived yet, but, apparently, didn't feel it was necessary to let us know that we didn't need to wait for him all morning. 2. One of the reasons we picked the system we did was because it came with a smartphone monitoring app that allows the homeowner to see what the cameras are seeing from any remote location with internet connectivity. While we can see what the cameras see when we're IN the house using the app, it does not connect to the DVR anywhere beyond wi-fi range of our house. I called him on FOUR times over the subsequent 6 weeks about this issue, and not only did he NOT return our calls, he did not offer a fix of any kind. The app, as it is, is completely useless to us. 3. Part of the deterrent value of any security system is the signage that lets people know that such a system is in use. He forgot the signs on the install date, and despite multiple attempts to request that he send them to us (as he'd promised to do before he left), he never returned our calls and we've never received any signs. 4. He billed our c/c before the work was completed. Bottom line: We did NOT get what we paid for. Drew is a competent, if unprofessional, technician that, as some other reviewers have commented, is spread too thin to do his work AND run a business. While I would certainly recommend the Alibi camera system to anyone, I would NOT and will not recommend General Pro Security to anyone.

I had a 4 camera and 3 data wall outlets job for my house and they were able to complete it exactly the way I wanted it. Claudia, their sales rep is very responsive and quick to reply. One of the things I love about Sherlock is they are flexible with materials. I choose to provide my own cables since I wanted to use CAT6A and my lockbox. Sherlock is also able to install cameras that you buy which is quite rare to find. For the site visit, Ilad was very knowledge and friendly and made sure job was going to be done right. He came on the first day to check and verify things before the work began. The technicians Edgar & Alex were very friendly and hard working. The job took a day longer than estimated but they were able to finish everything. They came early in the morning and left after sunset. In the end I got everything running smoothly. I was particularly impressed by his technical knowledge and attention to detail. He used high-quality Cat 6A pure-copper cabling, which gives us ample capacity for future camera upgrades without having to replace the wiring. He and his partner worked efficiently together and were professional and communicative throughout the entire installation. In the initial walk-through, Mr. Singh suggested adding one more camera to get proper coverage, which I ordered directly. Both Mr. Singh and his partner were careful while working inside and removed their street shoes before coming in, which we really appreciated. He also went beyond the basic installation by setting up some useful custom features.
