Thanks a lot!!! I took a sleep aid because I was having a job interview and staff meeting that day and wanted to be sure I was on point. Thus the request for the call back in the afternoon . Needless to say I was groggy for both. All I wanted to do was order a pair of back up glasses. The prescription had not yet expired, which they admitted but they said they recommend I come in. Trying to use up my end of year hsa dollars, that's all. Will not be going back. If you can't comply with a simple, respectfully made request, I'm not interested in giving my business

I made an appointment with this office. Very friendly staff and the eye exam was ok. My issue is…read morethat they said that they were in network with my insurance company and they were not. They called me up and said that I owed an additional $80 because "it was a diabetic medical exam and that it went to the deductible. I called my insurance company and they said that they were not in network and that the billing code was correct. They actually billed the insurance company an extra medical fee, which was rejected because it's included in the coding for the original eye exam. The practice was not in network at the time of my exam and tried to bill me the out of network fee. The other issue is is that the doctor will not give you your paper prescription for your eyeglasses until you buy the eyeglasses from them. I asked the doctor for my prescription and he said that when I picked up my glasses, he would give it to me. I have never had this happen before. As far as my prescription itself, I'm still not seeing very clearly.

The entire experience was highly unprofessional and deeply frustrating.First, the office staff failed to provide correct insurance information, despite the fact that I provided all of our insurance details a full day before the appointment.Second, Dr. Ramamurthy's behavior was completely unacceptable. She was dismissive, pushy, and spoke in an incredibly rude, unprofessional manner. When we tried to discuss the school report, she dismissively snapped that she has "seen thousands of school reports," showing zero empathy or individual care for my child's specific situation. If she did not want to deal with our insurance or felt she wasn't the right fit, she could have simply told us and referred us elsewhere. Instead, she was greedy and hostile.I should have listened to the other negative reviews online that highlight her poor attitude. There are plenty of other eye doctors in the area who treat families with respect. Save your time and money and go elsewhere.

I just finished my first eye appointment with Dr. Khaliq. And I am quite pleased. Dr. Khaliq lives…read moreup to a lot of the fine words other reviews have written about him here and elsewhere. He spent quality time answering my questions without rushing me - this is a big deal for me - but even more importantly his answers rang with intelligence & experience & compassionate sincerity. He came up with a solution for an issue I have been having with binocular alignment, and he did it in a way that the two previous eye-doctors with much fancier offices couldn't see. Guess even eye doctors can be blind to some things. An example of the compassionate attitude present in this office: I am considering LASIK and I asked him at the end, "If I was a family member of yours and said 'I want to do LASIK', what would you say to me about the surgery?" He earnestly said: " I consider all family and patients the same, so no need to worry - and I'll tell you..." This attitude was backed up by his receptionist who told me a story of how he had dramatically helped her and seen her free of charge when she didn't have insurance - now she works for him, full-heartedly. Good crew here. Humble office, simple room & everything you need: solid intelligence, experience & good heart.

Dr. Melissa Lambright, OD, provided me with probably the best Optometry experience of my life…read more Lets start this with a story. I had recently lost my glasses. After exhaustively looking everywhere I ordered a new pair, but had not yet taken delivery of them, when it was time to travel to my parents house for the Christmas holiday. So, I did what I usually do. I traveled only with the contacts I had in my eyes. Lo and behold, I ripped one of my contacts while taking them out on Christmas day. I have a very strong prescription (-6.75) so there was no way I was able to drive back home to the Boston area without having corrected vision. On Dec 26th I must have called every single Optometrist, Eye Center, Walmart Eye store, etc. in the greater Hartford area, to find out that they were either closed, unable or unwilling to help. I had thought it would be easy to just buy a box from someone as I had my prescription in my car (lucky break) but no such luck. On the off chance of success and in desperation I left a message on Sight, LLC's voicemail. Little did I know but this paged Dr. Lambright on her own holiday travels in the Midwest and she called me back. Not only did she arrange for her employees in her store to give me a sample contact lens, but she did it for no charge. I am obviously very grateful to her, and I can't help but recommend her services. If her regular customer service is anywhere near as good as my experience, Sight LLC is definitely worth your visit when you look for new contacts or glasses.

Before scheduling my exam, I specifically asked whether FSA payments were accepted and was told…read moreyes. After completing my exam and ordering glasses, my WEX FSA card was declined. WEX later advised me that the transaction was rejected because of the expense/merchant coding used by the provider. When I contacted the office after calling 3 times, I was told that other customers had experienced similar issues, but no accommodation or solution was offered. Because I could not use my FSA funds as expected, I was forced to cancel my eyeglasses order. I found the experience disappointing and frustrating. Now my insurance has been billed for the eye exam and I have to go find another optical shop that knows how to submit FSA payments. I should not have to pay out of pocket because they have known about this issue and basically lied and said they could handle FSA expenses when they obviously cannot.
