I have brought my cars to Allied Body & Frame for many years and have always been extremely satisfied with their service. Pete and Dick are the friendliness people in the land. Everything from the estimate to the handling of the insurance was smooth as silk. The experienced crew working there have such an eye for detail. The blending of my 2000 BMW e46 paint was perfect! They even saved my alloy rim which had a ton of grooves in it from the accident!! Bottom line... Great results = Happy Customer read more

Friendly service, took care of everything for me. They cleaned my car nicely when the repairs were done.

Allied Body & Frame did such a fantastic job on my car! I took it in to get fixed due to a car accident. The process was very straightforward and easy. It definitely calmed by nerves, because this was my first car accident and so I was feeling rather stressed. Dick was very pleasant and communicative. He explained everything very clearly in terms of the repairs and how they work with insurance companies. When I dropped it off, it happened to be a very rainy day and Dick offered to call the rental car company to come pick me up. I appreciated that a lot (even though they didn't pick up the phone, but it was only a few blocks away so I walked anyway - not a big deal!). Seeing as the car estimated repair completion date was coming up onto the holiday weekend, I expected that it may take much longer to finish. Dick was great about calling me with an update and answered all of the questions I had. When I picked up the car, I was delighted to see that it was back in good shape. Fantastic job! Thank you guys for such a great experience! I will definitely recommend you to others and keep you in mind for any future car fixes. read more

I am so glad I choose Allied body & Frame. They did such an excellent job for me. They made things so much easier, working with my insurance, keeping me informed and provided for all my repair needs. I trying restore my old Chevy truck and light are really dim. Call the guys at Allied I was to use toothpaste. We'll it really work I was surprised. Thanks for the tip. read more

Our old vehicle arrived at Allied with its front smashed, headlights "attached" with duct tape. We picked it up today and it's gorgeous (though still old). We almost didn't recognize the dear thing, and wish that Allied could restore our own bodies so well. Thank you, Dick and the shop workers. read more

These folks really know what they're doing. Great service and quality repair done on my 2021 Subaru Outback.

Swiped by a hit & run. The service at Allied was great, responsive and knowledgeable in dealing with insurance claims and even car rental. Really appreciated Dick's clear communication, updates and extra service. A great experience and will definitely use their service again. read more

Allied Body & Frame did a wonderful job on my Jetta! I brought it in after an accident. After our initial conversation Dick asked me why I chose them, because they didn't have as many reviews as some of the other auto body shops in the area. I told him that sometimes when there are too many reviews you might wonder how there are so many!! Also, the things people spoke about in their reviews really made me feel that this shop did good work and is also trustworthy. Dick was very straightforward and I felt that I could trust him from the beginning. He explained things well, keeping me posted along the way as promised, and the final price tag was about the same as his estimate. I am really happy I made the decision to go with this company! My husband first used Allied in 1989. Allied has done all his body work on his cars since then. The most recent project was to restore the 1978 BMW 320i that he bought new. The work has always been A+. The management/client interface has also been triple A+, including when things, as they always do, get complicated. The work has been done through insurance and through private funding. I highly recommend Allied Body and Frame. read more

This will be my second body shop review within a 1 year span and i've only had my Subaru for less than a year. For some strange reason, idiot drivers like to hit the rear back side of my car and run off without leaving a note. For my latest incident, the person left me a BLANK NOTE! Wtf??? I recently switched auto insurances from mercury to AAA. My sister and bro in law recommended Allied since they have been going to Allied for the past 3-5 years or so and has done an amazing job on their cars. Peter and staff was great to work with, very friendly and I have nothing but kudos to them for making the whole entire experience less stressful. One side of my Subaru looks brand new and now I got to take care of the tiny door dings on the other side. I highly recommend Allied for those who have AAA. read more

This business rates at least 10 stars! We've been going to them for over 10 years and have never been anything but extraordinarily pleased with their work and the way we were treated. The repair work is impeccable. I just had my 7-year-old Porsche repaired after an accident and people asked me if I got a new car. Pete, Dick and all their crew take great pride in their work and repeatedly go the extra mile to make everything perfect. Also, Dick and Pete have endless patience in working with insurance complications and advocate in a very professional manner for their clients. I recommend them very highly! read more

Pictures below are the final results at this shop. Three trips back and forth and an additional car rental is what it took to properly fix my car, as well as multiple emails and calls regarding the unsolved issues. I was told the car was ready for pick up, however the bumper was not properly painted nor properly installed, a bolt on the rim was missing, and trunk was not aligned. Their service was an inconvenience, and I still cannot wrap my head around how a business can release a vehicle with a wheel that was not properly installed. read more

I'm the first? This shop did a wonderful job on my first car, a Hersey chocolate VW Rabbit, after an idiot tried to parallel park and ended up dragging his left front fender down the length of my passenger side. Something similar happened recently, when another driver, with impaired vision and reflexes, backed out of a parking spot and into the pristine white passenger door of my BMW. I got quotes from the top picks in the Bay Area Consumers' Checkbook, and Pete Brisbo at Allied Body and Frame came in below the median price and spoke knowledgably about the work that would need to be done. Date made, work done beautifully, on schedule and on budget, as they say. Good guys, superb work! read more

Had my car damaged in a parking lot collision. They gave me a prompt estimate that was the best price (the woman who hit me was paying for it). Delivery and quality was on time and top notch! Very clear communication. read more

These guys are great at Allied! The service is outstanding! Better then other body shops I have dealt with in the past... My family and I have been taking our vehicles to Allied for about 10 years now and have always been very satisfied with the work completed on our vehicles. I drove over 50 miles 1 way just so I can have them repair it, instead of trying other shops nearby which were more convenient... I chose to go with quality instead of convenience... I will continue to do business with Pete and the staff at Allied Body and Frame. Overall, if you ask me for my opinion... I DEFINITLY recommend Allied Body for all your body work needs... you will NOT be disappointed!!!!!! Ask for Pete Brisbo... he will make sure all your questions will be answered!!!! read more

So glad I chose Allied to do the work on my Mercedes. Dick was a pleasure to work with through the process and kept me informed when needed. The outcome exceeded my expectations. read more

My 1998 Nissan Pathfinder hit a dear up in the mountains. It pretty much destroyed my front bumper and grill not to mention a range of other items and the dear. I took in to Allied and within a few hours Peter Brisbo got back to me with prelimary costs. He worked with CSAA insurance and it looks great, like new. To top it off. I found my air conditioner was not working a week later and I brought it back. They carefully looked at it and found the horn mount in the front had punctured the air conditioner unit and emptied it of freon. They had to take things apart to find this and had not questions about getting this fixed. These guys are all about customer service. They are amazing. read more

Being that I am very particular with my car, I did a bit of research to find the best body shop. After reading the reviews for this place on Yelp, I figured I'd give it a try. Upon pulling into their garage, I see the techs cleaning the shop. It was a good first impression and everything seemed organized including the office. The owner Peter Brisbo was very helpful, friendly, and professional and makes it a point to keep you updated on your vehicle. When I picked up my car, it was flawless. They even washed it which makes sense to ensure that the paint is consistant when the job is done. The cars are all spread out so you won't have to worry about new dings on your car. You can see all the techs at work and not slacking off. Overall, great place and I would highly recommend this place to anyone passionate about their vehicle's appearance. read more

I've been a very happy customer for over 30 years! Pete and Dick do an outstanding job at making sure your car looks great! These guys are master craftsmen. They were the highest rated East Bay shop in Checkbook magazine, so I drove all the way from Danville hoping to get a decent job. My car had significant impact damage. When I received the car back few weeks later, I could hardly believe it: the car looked brand new. The paint job, which body shops usually screw up, was perfect. They even cleaned the interior. As fate would have it, a tire blew out and my car again suffered impact damage. I brought it in and again, after the repairs, drove out with a new car. Peter was terrific to deal with - he and his shop set the standard for others to follow. Ship your car to them if you have to; it's worth it. read more

I'm so glad my friend referred me to Allied Body & Frame! After falling victim to a hit and run incident on my BMW, I was lost and really didn't know what to do nor how to handle this situation. Dick at Allied was super helpful and patient with giving me different options and walking me through the whole process. He kept me informed throughout the repair from start to finish. I really appreciate the professionalism and care they put into my car. I will be referring everyone I know to Allied and they just made a customer for life! read more

Peter was super nice and reasonable for the price. This was my second visit for body work I had to go through. There are several body shops in San Pablo ave. I have contacted several of them, but Allied Body & Frame is the place you want to bring your injured car. You will receive an astonished service. Thank you so much for the great customer service before and after. read more

The service here is fantastic. It was the most reasonable of the 4 quotes I received, and given the positive reviews on Yelp I felt very secure in going with Allied. I had to have my bumper re-painted and it came out looking absolutely perfect. On top of that, they checked my lights and saw I had a headlight out (which I knew, and had gotten a fix it ticket for earlier) and put in a used light they had lying around free of charge. These guys are the best! I would use them again and have been recommending them to friends and family. read more

Hit a high curb, crunched lower portion of front bumper, no extensive damage. Well, my car is fixed. Glad for that. The repairs seem to be done properly. What wasn't good was even though I had turned in a written estimate from Geico, with all the forms attached and phone numbers, nothing was billed through them. I had to pay the full $948.50 on the spot. Got home, contacted Geico, had to scan copy of invoice.....end of story it's probably gonna be a good 2 weeks until I see that check since Im a travel nurse working in Berkeley and home address inTexas. Maybe it's best to go here if you have AAA insurance only? It's been years since I had to have repairs like that done, but last time I did that was already taken care no matter what insurance I had or where I took it. read more

I had a minor fender bender on I-80, which involved some minor damage to my car's bumper. My insurance company had them as one of their "in network" shops, Allied is reasonably near my house and I checked out the previous reviews on Yelp (which were good) so I went with them! The work they did is fantastic, they did it in a timely manner, and Peter Brisbo was very communicative and friendly throughout the whole process. I'm hoping that I don't have to use them again (fingers crossed!) but if I need to I'll definitely go to Allied again. Two thumbs up. read more

Allied is great, Peter (the owner I think) is great, and my experience with them has always been- you guessed it- great. Unfortunately, I've been rear-ended twice and t-boned once and these guys have always done a quality and quick job fixing my car up. They go above and beyond if you ask me and are very easy to work with. They explain things to you clearly, in terms you can understand, but they don't talk to you like you're a moron. They're laid back and pushy and don't ever try to take advantage (like some unscupulous auto folks can). I've always had insurance to pay for my work but their rates seemed very fair. I recommend this place highly for anyone needing body work in the area. read more

Brought My Car in , January 2021 .. Vert friendly personal made it easy for me , they were quick and professional job. Highly recommend!!!

Allied Body & Frame did a great job for a reasonable price after my car was sideswiped. I recommend them highly.

This shop had a very high rating on Consumer's Checkbook, so I chose it to repair serious front-end damage to a Toyota Prius. Their service was excellent. Not only did the car end up looking better than it did when I purchased it (used), they relentlessly pursued my insurance company that was slow and unresponsive (a real disappointment, as this was a company--State Farm--that had received very high rating in Consumer's Report in the past). I also purchased a newer Prius while the repairs of the one with front-end damage were ongoing and discovered after two months that there was a separation between the front right wheel cover and the hood. I took the car to Allied and they immediately diagnosed the problem--a sloppy repair job by the place from which I purchased the car--and repaired it quickly and perfectly. They are not the fastest nor the least expensive auto body shop, but their work is first-rate. If you value your car and want it repaired expertly, I strong recommend Allied. read more

I came to Allied after I had a hit-and-run on my car. My car was in pretty bad shape. The entire front bumper was detached and not drivable. Allied, however, made it look brand new. My insurance company is AAA and I was able to pick the autobody shop of my choosing and I decided to go with Allied based off their reviews. They did not disappoint! It took about a week to get finished and I was so happy with the results. The person I dealt with was Dick, and he constantly gave me updates on my car. I would highly recommend them to anyone I know! They're great! read more

I have taken my car to Allied Body three times now - once with AAA as my insurance provider and once with Geico.
