As a General Contractor and owner of Credo Construction, I really value working with responsive companies that do what they say and take care of clients the right way. We recently worked with Alliance Environmental Group on a property built prior 1978where asbestos-related materials needed proper remediation before bathroom remodeling could begin. Joseph handled the project from start to finish, stayed communicative, organized everything well, provided fair pricing, and the crew did solid work. Just check out the set up and clean up after work completion - the team is top notch level of professionalism. Not often you meet someone who is just a good dude and easy to work with. Definitely appreciate the service and looking forward to collaborating on more projects together in the future. Thanks Joseph and we def work again! I higjly recommend Alliance Environmental Group. I have tried several emails and it has been a month now. Ruined my cabinets but leaning doors on them. The abatement crew didn't even suit up. It was suppose to have asbestos, so made me second guess if there was. Between them leaving a mess. Carpet still has black soot everywhere, items are still outside that they "contained" never told what to do. Didn't clean up, left pipe debris on the street, never returned calls, and Sara said she would help, and never did. I wouldn't recommend them at all. You should see the mess they left behind. Between Bingham and Alliance my head is spinning. Not professional either one. read more

I had a great experience with Lavi Cohen and his team. Lavi was personally recommended to me by the mold mitigation team I'm working with and I couldn't be happier with the recommendation. My home project is on a pretty tight window and Lavi was able to accommodate my needs with no problems. Since I'm paying for all of this work out-of-pocket, Alliance's prices were very reasonable. Very satisfied with the work. read more

Exceedingly professional, fast, and fair pricing! We had a major home remodel and the crew found that all of the drywall throughout the home as well as the flooring in the bedrooms had asbestos. This kind of thing can add months to the time of a project so the news was definitely disheartening. Fortunately, our general contractor referred us to Lavi Cohen at Alliance Environmental Group. They were extremely fast, coming out the day after I called to assess the project scope, the day after that they provided a quote, and the following week they started the removal. All-in-all it took only two weeks from detecting the asbestos until it was fully removed. The price for the full waste removal including CA fees was extremely competitive. Just like everyone, I hope that I never have to call on Lavi's team again but if I do have another project like this I would not hesitate for a moment to contact them again. read more

We are doing a half-house remodel and extension and worked with Alliance to remove the impacted drywall and acoustic ceiling at a very reasonable price. They applied for the J number and helped me unblock the permit application on the 2nd day. The communication was great with the coordinator Jonathon. He and his men sort out most on-site problems without our presence, and did a clean job within a week. read more

Lavi Cohen and his crew did a fantastic job for asbestos abatement for my house! Great job

We utilized Alliance Environmental for asbestos remediation in our older floors, ceiling, HVAC system, and duct work as part of a larger remodel project. As owner-builders, we did our own research and met with several options before landing on Alliance. Lavi Cohen and his team were fantastic from start to finish. Our initial meeting and communications with Lavi were insightful and helped us understand the scope of work. The bid was reasonable and more thorough than other companies we explored - we truly felt like we were in the best hands with Lavi's team. Alliance's work was careful and efficient, and they were responsive throughout the process. We are very pleased with the final result and will recommend them to all those interested in similar projects. Thank you! read more

I have used Alliance 2x for asbestos removal. On the most recent project, we worked with Jonathan Schott who was very helpful and communicative. The pricing was very fair and it was easy to schedule the project. The removal was done well and our home was left clean. It all went smoothly. I would definitely recommend Alliance for abestos removal needs and would use them again myself if needed. read more

Like a lot of people, a home remodel turned into a major headache when the flooring installers found some mold. And of course, given the age of our house, we had to do asbestos testing and management. Greg and team responded right away, gave us a fair quote with just photos and descriptions of the work needed and came out a day later. The work was done in half a day and clearance done the following day. Everything passed with flying colors. We could not be happier with the work of Greg and the Alliance team and are excited to get our project back on track! Thank you! read more

I was referred to this business as part of a larger project for a single family home. We needed to remove asbestos from the attic and ventilation. The whole process was problematic. They sent 2 workers who were not fluent in English, so I had to communicate with their supervisor over the phone. They miscommunicated their schedule, so their arrival conflicted with other work in the same area of the home. The asbestos removal seemed rushed and attic material remained on the floor, which we vacuumed ourselves after they "finished" and left. Worst of all, they damaged a utility closet door frame. I discovered this after they left and reported the damage to the main office via email, which they never followed up on. At the very least, the asbestos removal passed inspection from the main contractor and city. read more

I had my popcorn ceiling/asbestos removed with Alliance and Lavi Cohen made the entire process easy, affordable and painless. I really appreciate Lavi's attentiveness and service through out and the work was done correctly (and tested) the first time. I highly recommend. read more

I had an rush need for asbestos removal (discovered during another project). I contacted three firms but Alliance was the only firm to respond the same day to my urgent request. Lavi Cohen was extremely helpful in setting up this rush job and his communications were all rapid and reliable. I provided a few photos, and Lavi gave me an accurate and reasonable estimate to remove the problem. He responded immediately to my text messages when I had questions and was available for any concerns. The job was completed exactly as needed and the site left clean and well managed. All in, a great experience for quick asbestos removal. It was a big relief to have this problem so quickly fixed at a fair price. Note: this project was completed in Pacific Grove CA. read more

We recently needed asbestos remediation and I asked a General Contractor buddy for a recommendation. His response was immediate and it was Alliance Environmental Group. I worked with Lavi to get a proposal for the work - he was the only vendor I contacted who did an onsite visit and it was very helpful in getting comfortable with this process. Lavi was great about letting us know all the steps and their bid was actually the best value overall. Work was completed on time and on budget. I would work with Alliance again, but hope to never need to do asbestos remediation again. read more

I am a Realtor and I have used this company a few times to do asbestos removal. It was very easy to work with the office to get a schedule and a quote. Lavi was our technician and he did a fantastic job. He was easy to communicate with, very professional and took the time to explain the process. Lavi also went the extra step to be sure that we were ready for the testers and the painters. I have another job coming up and will be calling them again and requesting Lavi to do the job. read more

My overall impression of the Alliance Environment Group is the the whole team from mr. Lavi Cohen, who provided the initial work assessment, to Patty at the office and Eduardo who was assigned to work on this asbestos abatement project provided excellent service. Eduardo explained exactly what he would be doing and what precautions he was taking to insure the process was safe. He worked efficiently and on completion left the work site clean and in order. read more

I read the poor prior reviews and was not surprised. This company was hired by our HOA. They removed our undamaged kitchen appliances and all of our cabinets when they were not supposed to. Get this, they stored all of it outside on our neighbors driveway for two months never telling us. We found the property outside damaged and moldy. Read the other reviews and find a different company for your needs. read more

I had a pretty substantial job to do -- complete "gutting" of my entire home, down to the studs, for asbestos abatement. It was my first time doing this so I had no idea what to expect and I had tons of questions. Lavi Cohen and his team walked me through it patiently and thoroughly, and I especially like Lavi's prior experience as a contractor because he could help me understand how things fit into the bigger picture given I am doing a full remodel of the house following this abatement. Long story short, Lavi and his team absolutely exceeded my expectations. The abatement is now done, and it almost looks like a brand new construction because it's just the studs and wood beams -- and Lavi and team made it look absolutely sparkling. My wife actually said half-jokingly that it looks so clean and nice like this, we should just keep the house like this ! Anyway I am seriously impressed with how they removed EVERYTHING we asked: all the drywall everywhere in the house including walls and ceilings, every appliance in the kitchen including fridge and stove and oven plus microwave and dishwasher etc, totally removed the cabinetry as requested, totally cleared out the bathrooms , removed all of the flooring in the ENTIRE house (all 3 levels), and delivered a pristine, clean house that the general contractor and HVAC crew can now go to work on for the full remodel. Lavi and team were fast, efficient, and great communicators -- Lavi even was in touch with me during his scheduled vacation, AND he coordinated with my general contractor during this time as well to make sure the project was going forward as planned. Anyway, this was a scary thing for me since it was my first time, but after seeing the work done by Lavi and his team, I am actually excited to be able to work with them again because of how absolutely spotless my home was after Lavi and team got done. Oh, and when they were done, I got the most sophisticated air clearance testing done (the same level of testing used for schools, the very highest level of scientific testing), and there was not even 1 fiber of asbestos found in the house. Which is impressive given that the entire walls and ceilings previously had asbestos in them. The bottom line is I am EXTREMELY satisfied with the service we got from Lavi and his team, and i recommend him fully to anyone working on a related project. Two big thumbs up. read more

My brother had an asbestos ceiling repair done by this company , we had a team ready to do it ourselves , but his H.O.A demanded we go through a company of there choice. The results ended being a great job on the removal but so much damage and unfinished work , someone used the wrong tape around the perimeter which caused severe damage to the paint , there's water damage on every wall . After numerous attempts to contact was just told well u signed the contract . I attached a video of some damage and this is after we started repairs ourselfs. As a company you shouldn't even be comfortable leaving a customers home in this condition! read more

We had an immediate need for mold and asbestos remediation and Alliance Environmental was an excellent choice. From the beginning with Elena, who was kind and responsive, to Ben who saved the day with clear communication and follow through to Patty who provided us with all the appropriate documentation. We are so impressed with how thorough and clean the job site was left. Thank you to the crew. Highly recommend this company. read more

You get what you pay for. Alliance in the SF Bay Area caused property damage, didn't finish the job in its entirety (see photo examples) and claimed they did work they didn't (encapsulation). They offered no resolution or apology after repeated attempts to amicably resolve. I can't recommend them to anyone unless you're willing to accept bottom of the barrel performance of "professional" services. read more
