ADK was assigned for mitigating extensive water damage in our house. Edgar came promptly for inspection and coordinated with the pack out team. Nixy came next day to inspect and assigned Miriam to supervise and get the pack out done. As planned Miriam and her team did a great job in packing and moving all our salvageable belongings to the warehouse in an efficient manner. Thank you Nixy and Miriam read more

After a bathroom flood we needed disaster relief. Alliance was quick to respond. The remediation was quick. Cody Lane was our contractor and he was wonderful. He oversaw everything and we had nothing to deal with ourselves, other than product choices. Really made the job effortless for us. The quality of the work was exceptional. The workers were efficient and cleaned up after themselves. Beautiful job. We get a very good value for our money. Eileen Aronoff read more

Alliance Disaster Kleenup did a fantastic job restoring floors and walls and ceilings at my place after the main sewer pipe exiting the place backed up and there was water/sewage damage on main level and basement! From Ran, the estimator dealing with insurance to Peter, the project manager to Slawek and his crew of Dan and Chris, the guys who did most of the hard work I was so totally impressed that I believe my place looks brand new! Great job guys! I will contact you again when I need more work done...thank you very much! Regina Novak 4/28/2021 read more

My insurance sent this company to redo our tile floor after a refrigerator water leak. They completed the tile floor on April 2020. Soon after I noticed the grout coming off on an area by my foyer; they came and redid that portion. But since then, the grout is coming off on several other areas, it's been ongoing. When I call their contractor, Bill, to see about this issue he never answered my calls/texts. It's been a little over a year and the grout has came off so badly that I have areas with broken tiles. It was a bad tile job, and they did not use sealant on the grout/tiles. So unprofessional too. My insurance was the one to foot the bill but I am the one to have to deal with this company and their terrible job and unprofessional workers. read more

Alliance helped us sort through the aftermath of a fire that destroyed most of the house. They were professional, prompt, kind, reliable, and did an amazing job sorting through the debris and salvaging whatever could be saved. They cleaned and sorted all of the household items that could be saved, then stored them until the home was rebuilt. They outsourced some of the delicate work, like antiques, electronics, clothing, and grand piano, and did a great job managing it all. We dealt primarily with Nixie, who is an absolute gem, but everyone else from the company whom we met was also kind, professional, and qualified. I'm so grateful for Alliance. read more

Hands down I would recommend Ben and his team in a second. They were so professional, speedy and transparent. Ben was there to explain, work through a couple of issues with some product makers. Hope our kitchen doesn't flood again, but I would use Ben and his group every time. Matt read more

Our toilet exploded in a Friday night no less. Everything was a mess. It's an addition bathroom in the basement so home insurance coverage is only good for the damage it caused. My condo building suffered water damage throughout, and all owners were evacuated. Alliance did my pack out and stored my belongings for close to two years. Everything was safe and protected for the whole time and their customer service was amazing. They were always checking in and very accommodating. Very disappointed in follow up after initial evaluation. Job not a huge disaster clean up, but we needed their help. Never returned messages and when I did have contact with staff the rudeness was offensive. In the end, the message from Michelle was I should do it myself since it was a smaller job. read more

Alliance Disaster Kleenup did a great job making a bad situation better. My basement had flooded and I knew that I had to get the water out quickly before mold started. I called them up, they sent out Ron the same day and within 1 day later they had the basement dried up and started removing the drywall. They made the bad situation a lot better by making it easy to work with me & my insurance company. The crew of guys were very professional and cleaned up very well. Thanks guys, great job! read more

I just received an estimate to replace my roof. They didn't measure it at all, they just used what my insurance company provided. They are double the price for much less in quality. I have two estimates for under $8,000 for all new decking; they are at $15,000!!!!! They are charging me to remove the satellite dish and attic fan (both not being used and are garbage) even though the job is to rip off the decking! Do not use them! They are a joke! read more

I had a fire and was assured every item in the house would be photographed. It was a lie when asked to produce these photos there was nothing but excuses. They had to come back to my house 5 times to clean it and it is still not cleaned. Nixy the manager calls yelling and screaming at her clients. Nixy stated we have never not made someone happy. People like you will never be happy. She stated " I am a Professional" she only stated that because of the amount of boxes came back to my house the same way they left. She stated she cleaned them. She couldn't have. They over promise under deliver. Follow up calls don't care. They damage two of my doors and didn't want to own up to the fact that they did it. DO NOT HORE THIS COMPANY!!! Thinking about hiring ADK? PLEASE read my review- My goal is to warn others about the ethics and integrity of Alliance Disaster Kleenup (ADK I met with one of the owners, Justin Tubero. Justin assured me that his "one-stop shop" would provide mitigation through the completed reconstruction of my home in a timely manner. * Was told I would only be out of my home for 4-6 months. I was actually displaced for 11 months. * Building Permit was supposed to take 1-6 weeks. I finally called the county department myself and was told that ADK's PM continually brought in the wrong paperwork. * Permit was finally received after 4 months. (16 weeks). * After the permit was finally issued my home sat empty for several weeks. The excuse? I was told that they were stretched thin due to all the homes affected by the flooding that had happened. First project manager -"No longer with the company". * First PM no longer with company-Enter Project Manager # 2 * The Scope of Work, which is the very detailed contract of the repairs agreed upon by insurance company and ADK was not being followed. I found myself having to be at the house almost daily with contract in hand to question why things were not being done according to the agreed upon contract. Unfortunately, I constantly felt like because I was a female living here they thought they could sneak things past me and "she would never know". * One egregious example. All the ceilings in my ranch home were to be replaced (agreed upon in the scope of work). It was an attic fire (electrical) and several fire hoses were put through the vents in my roof. Water was streaming down like a waterfall on the main floor-get the picture? Obvious repairs were done where the ceilings collapsed but I would estimate over 1/2 the house's ceilings were not replaced- ceilings had already primed and painted (finished). * On one of my visits to the house I started seeing nail pops everywhere in the ceilings- I called the PM, ADK's response was to screw up the ceiling drywall (obviously water damaged and coming down) If I had not questioned the work, the water damaged ceilings would have been left up as "replaced" and the company would have received monies from my insurance company for replacing all the ceilings. If I was not physically on location, daily, to point out the missing work, it seemed it would not get done. * Deadline after deadline was missed. * Inspection after inspection failed. * Subcontractors did not show up and were ultimately fired. * When ceilings were finally pulled down it was discovered that an entire bedroom had not received ANY attic insulation. * Had to have the second PM's boss finally come out to the house to see the lack of progress and all the "shoddy and verge of fraudulent" work that was being done and scope of work not being followed. * Theft. There was theft going on inside and outside of my locked home. * ADK and their subcontractors were the only ones with a key. * Packages and boxes left on the front step were blatantly opened and items was taken- Lived here 11 years and had no theft prior to this and have not had any theft after I returned. * Stored alcohol that the company themselves had packed up/stored in boxes had been opened and some of the contents taken. * Garage fridge which serves as my beverage cooler- including alcohol was taken. * Due to the theft-I felt I had to purchase two Ring spotlight cameras so I could monitor the activities in and around my home when I could not be there. * 8 months after initial contract was signed, I was given a Schedule of Completion, outlining when certain tasks would be completed, such as insulation installation, drywall, taping, etc. * 5 deadlines of completion were promised to me. Not one was met. * Move in day. 11-months after I was displaced, I was able to move back in. AFTER all furniture, boxes, miscellaneous was moved back in, I did the final walk around. I noticed several large gouges and numerous scratches everywhere on the new hardwood flooring. * The flooring sub-contractor came in, reviewed all the damage from ADK movers, and told me that there was so much damage that the floor had to be redone all over; sand, stain, poly. ALL the furniture had to be moved back out AGAIN. After repeatedly being told (lied to) that all the vents had been replaced on my roof, I climbed the ladder to my roof ( I'm a 59 year old woman -double knee replacement ) to find out that the less expensive turtle types had been replaced but the more expensive ropanyof mount had not. These are just a few of many things that ADK did. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY FOR ANY REASON- Consumer BEWARE!!!!!!!! Sue T Feb 10,2019 read more

They don't care about the client, only about their own employees and profit. They poorly manage projects, often drop the ball, don't show up when they say they will and treat the client like crap! Hire someone who can handle the workload. If you want a good disaster clean-up company, go to Laurens Restoration. They are big enough to do a fast job with good quality work. read more

My friend who works in the restoration industry but moved to AZ referred me to this company. I had major water damage from a leaking water supply line in the bathroom that destroyed 2 of my floors. The restoration project was over $150K and if it weren't for this company I don't know what I would do because they take care of everything from negotiating with my insurance company, to putting my furniture in storage, to coming back and fixing minor issues such as cracked tile after the full restoration. There are always issues for a project of this size such as project delays ( mine took about 8 months), improper repairs, which were rectified, and reimbursements. The most important factor is to have them negotiate with my insurance company because if they didn't my insurance would only try to pay for 1/2 of the repairs. The one drawback with Alliance is that I was given so many contacts for scheduling and repairs and updates, up to perhaps 7-8 people so it got confusing in the end as to who was responsible for what. The bottom line is my home looks better than ever and I did not have any out-of-pocket costs except the insurance deductible. Please give this company a try if you have major home or business damage and do not try to negotiate with your insurance company on your own! read more

I called these guys to do repairs after a massive water leak as they were referred by my insurance agency. They came relatively quickly to do cleanup, which is half of their business. Their cleanup work was mostly satisfactory, although I noticed a few things they were slapdash about. When it came time to do the repair work, trying to get an estimate was like pulling teeth. I tried making several appointments with the sales person and after several no call, no shows, realized I needed to call someone else to do the repair work. I wouldn't recommend them for renovation or repair, and I think I would have done better elsewhere for the disaster cleanup portion as well. read more

I've never seen this kind of activity in my life. When Dan from Alliance Disaster Kleenup and the other "team members" came to mine and my husbands home in Lincoln Park after a pipe broke in our kitchen wall we were totally devastated because we had just remodeled. These guys showed up after the plumber fixed the pipe and not only did they save our new walnut floors even though it was totally soaked but our cabinets lived through the ordeal as well. Those guys were extremely respectful and knew what needed to happen from the moment they walked in the door. The kitchen was turned into what they called a "drying chamber" asked us to not disturb the machines they had running. Carefully cut out all of the soggy drywall, cleaned the whole space, and dried everything out in 3 days. I was stunned. Thanks to you all for helping us through a total nightmare. read more

Debbie, Dan, and Gio are AMAZING! I had water throughout my condo due to an incompetent contractor who carelessly left a nail hole in one of my radiator pipes, this leak caused extensive flooring damage, trim, and drywall. Needless to say, I was DEVESTATED because I just placed every dime I had into making my home, my dream home. I never was even able to enjoy my home, and then this water incident occurred. If it were not for my condo associations quick response, this damage could have been a lot worse, but I was still EXTREMELY worried about mold growth. After Debbie and her crew performed their work, I am so relieved. SO unbelievably happy. They explained everything they needed to do in detail, went beyond my expectations. They were extremely professional, timely, and understood the devastation and loss that makes this situation a bit emotional. I am also very, very, very happy the antimicrobial used is GREEN! Being one with chemical sensitivities, I can trust that it is not toxic as I, being as sensitive as I am, have no ill effects ...even after being present the entire remediation time. I cannot recommend any other remediation company in the whole entire Chicagoland area...OTHER THAN ALLIANCE! Thank you for such care and compassion to those with major sensitivities and for a job done beyond my expectations!!!! read more

Over the summer my basement flooded. Disaster cleanup came out a few days later, cut most of the drywall, removed most of the flooring, and dried what they had cut. When they were "finished" I asked does this take care of everything, or should i be worried about this becoming a future problem?" They assured me that everything was fine. I then asked them for a quote to put down new tile and replace the missing drywall. About a month later I heard back! The quote came in at $20,000. I received quotes from 2 other companies. One came in at $4,500 and the other $4,000. Thats no small difference! As one of the other companies went through renovating the basement, they noticed a handful of places where mold was growing. I called Disaster Cleanup and informed them that I wasn't pleased with the fact mold had been found in a handful of different ares. Their reply was!: "If they are taking care of it, then what is it you need from us" in a very snide way. Enough said. If I paid $6,000 to do a job and now Im paying someone else to finish the job then what did I pay you for in the first place? Disaster then sent out Bill to look at the work the next day. We went around and pointed out all of the areas and he said that one of the guys "was younger and they would use this for training purposes." He was pretty defensive in general and said certain areas they generally dont remove where mold had grown but other areas he didnt provide much of a response on. He then agreed to finish the areas that the other company hadn't already fixed but wasn't willing to compensate the other company for their work which was a measly $310 dollars. Im not a mold expert but if a disaster cleanup crew is coming fix damage caused by flooding, then shouldn't the quote include getting rid of the mold? Do yourselves a favor, dont let the packaging fool you, they are a rip off and the irony is all it took was an extra $300 for another company to find these problems. Stay away! I included a few pictures and each one had been affected by mold. 5 different areas! read more

I had to deal with these folks after we had some damage at my home. Initially they were very helpful, and they promised they would take care of everything with my insurance company. However, they concealed that they werent requesting certain repairs would be done. I eventually got the insurance company to cover the repairs-- after I went arount these folks. There were things like that aroound every turn with these folks, In my opinion, they are far to eager to please the insurance companies as opposed to their "clients." I also had difficulty getting them to finish their work. Its a shame because they do some good work. But they also did some shoddy work as well, and took short cuts. I would not have used them had I known what kind of business this was. Check out the BBB, they have complaints. There are plenty of companies that dont. read more

Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this company. I had water damage in my house and i contracted them through my insurance company to take care of it. They quoted 2-3 days. The tore out the drywall in my living room and it was exposed to my garage. 2 months later, they had yet to come out and replace the drywall. Once they did, it was absolutely pathetic workmanship. They brought in a new foreman and he couldn't believe how poorly it was completed. He said it clearly was a rushed job - pretty hysterical when a 2-3 day job took over 2 months. He offered to redo the work and would credit me $100 for the inconvenience on a $10,000 job. They also billed me and the insurance company for work they never performed. I ultimately went out and hired an outside contractor and paid extra to fix everything. In summary - I worked with two different foremen and they neither had a clue. I doubt they have many more. There are tons of the companies like these out there. I suggest you look elsewhere. read more
