I've wanted to invest in a quality pair of dress shoes for years, but it never worked out geographically or financially. I wear dress shoes almost every day for work, so I wanted something well made that wouldn't fall apart and could eventually be resoled instead of replaced. After finally saving up, I decided to buy not just one but two pairs. I had already settled on Allen Edmonds, but I didn't want to purchase without getting properly sized. That meant making a 3.5 hour trip, 7 hours round trip, to this Scottsdale location. It turned out to be completely worth it. Cameron helped me during my visit and made sure I got the perfect fit. He carefully measured my feet and had me try a couple different size and width combinations to dial everything in. They had both pairs I wanted, the Park Avenue and the Strand, in stock in my size. The only issue was that the Strand in walnut did not have the burnished, patina look it normally has and appeared much lighter than expected. Cameron immediately offered two options. He could ship another pair to my house, or have one sent to the store so he could inspect it first. He recommended sending it to the store so he could make sure the burnish and patina looked right before mailing them to me at no extra cost. I really appreciated that because it saved me from possibly having to return a pair that did not look right. I normally hate clothing and shoe shopping, but Cameron made the whole process easy. He was professional, easygoing, and answered all my questions without making the experience feel rushed. The store itself is smaller than I expected but very clean and well organized. Time will tell if the shoes hold up and are worth the cost. Overall, the service alone made the 7 hour round trip worth it. read more

My grandfather gave me a pair of Allen Edmonds and they were the first nice dress shoes I ever had. Needless to say, they have lasted in great condition until today! I went in to buy a pair of loafers but with Victoria's kind and knowledgeable help I was able to find a pair of oxfords that better suited me and that I delight in wearing. The team is really helpful and honest in saying what works and what doesn't. I had such a good experience I came back and bought a pair of boots and a sweater, both of which are excellent. Victoria actually recommended to me that I wait for a sale to get the discount which I appreciated and moved me to actually buy my boots. The price to me is worth it since they are of such high quality, because they look so cool, and because they will clearly last me many years, not to mention their great shoe care and resoling program. read more

Got wide feet? Hubby always has difficult time finding comfy shoes due to his wide feet. Guy at Nordstrom recommended we check out Allen Edmonds. I'm glad we did. They measured his feet and brought out few pairs to try on. They have extra wide shoes (EEE) All comfy; it was matter of selecting which style. We will be back for second pair soon. Allen Edmonds makes marvelously well crafted shoes, which in my experience can last 10 to 15 years. I have several, that after being refurbished at their factory in Port Washington, Wisconsin look and feel, as good as new. Both Nordstrom and this company run store have several sales during the year, which if you like fine leather shoes, or briefcases, et cetera, you must take advantage of when they're on. Like now for instance - something called Christmas, I understand Whether you buy online or at this store the discounted prices are the same. Very disappointed customer. Shoes are very uncomfortable even after break in time. Quality issues as I was sold a shoe that had warped leather at the opening the shoe. It fits loose and is not what a $400 shoe should be. Customer service and stores do not provide a good experience and simply refused to replace or refund the shoe and denied this being a defect even though I have never once seen a shoe with this problem. This is unacceptable for a company that claims to to offer high end shoes. I would never recommend anyone buy these shoes. Go elsewhere! No one cares here and stand by there product when they are selling defective shoes in stores or with customer service in call center. Sizing is also inconsistent even though they claim certain lasts are the same when they are not. read more

This has become my new favorite place. I never considered myself an indulgent person but this store changed all of that. My new favorite pair of shoes was purchased here and I will only ever get dress shoes from Allen Edmonds from now on. It is quite pricey but it's like they say, you get what you pay for. I never knew a pair of shoes could make you feel so great! The sales people were super helpful and had a lot of information, they answered all of my questions and then some. The best thing about the shoes purchased here is they are well made and they come with a "care package" if you will. They make sure your shoes will last for a really long time so it makes the price you pay for them well worth the investment. Came in awhile back and was fitted for a set of Cornwallis Brogues. The lads are a full service shop here, as a higher end gentlemen's store the only thing you need is socks. They'll lace the shoes up and provide a shoe horn for the fitting. Always love their odds and ends too. If they don't have it in store, get fitted and they'll have it on your door step in less than a week. read more
