The worker asked me what brought me in and I repeat what I shared with the worker who greeted me at the door. However, this worker told me that the Spectrum store no longer accepts return equipment. UPS and some FedEx's take the equipment you want to return now. I'm pretty sure I made a face and a visible body jerk like I had been punched lol. After seeing my reaction, she added that she would go ahead and take care of it and she did which I appreciated. If I could offer a suggestion to the store though, it would be to make sure all employees know about the latest changes. Had the first worker told me that at the door, I could have google'd the nearest UPS and not waited.

Looking at the outage map, it was considered low impact and didn't effect a large number of customers. Then the hours kept increasing, yesterday the outage map read 105 hours. 3 days later our fix no longer has a time estimate when we call, and the outage map now reads 105 hours to be fixed for the second day in a row. When we asked about a refund for the days missed, we were told we would be refunded zero dollars for downed service. Essentially we paid them to provide us with no service or customer support whatsoever. Thankfully it caused us to find Google was 30 dollars cheaper a month for the same service, so we canceled. They lost a longtime customer.

So I had to stop the store manager and ask to check/ sign us in and he had the audacity say, "oh, I thought you were signed in already." knowing darn well that we weren't. I said that we were thinking about upgrading devices on a few lines and asked to sign us in anyways. We had been on the phone for quite a while when one of the associates approached us and said that it was our turn. She simply informed my sister that whenever we were ready, just come get her. Shortly after, we were done with the phone call. No one approached us to assist yet again. The same store manager from earlier was just walking around to fix the displayed devices avoiding eye contact. Eventually, we stopped him and he signed us in again. Despite the fact that we were told to just come get one of the associates since we were already checked in. We were at the store for an hour and a half. So there were obviously customers leaving, freeing the associates. But for some magical reason, each time a customer left, the associate disappeared to the back and never came back out. Finally, we were so sIck of being ignored and waiting that we left. Honestly, I'd never go back to this location. Why would I want them to waste my precious time?

We were reluctant to turn on internet at our temporary apartment, but ended up needing to since we had a month until we could get into our new house. We came here on a Saturday afternoon around 2-3pm. You check in up front and then sit down and wait. We were fifteenth in line, but it did move faster than expected. Seating is very limited. While we waited we watched an altercation between an employee and a customer with unruly children that ended with the cops being called. So I would have given three stars, BUT my husband spent about 60 minutes on the phone with Spectrum after we got home because the service was not properly activated.

Purchased a brand new Channel Master CM-4228HD antenna to go into my attic. Was not getting very…read moregood reception. Several channels, including 11-1 and 17-1 would not come in clearly. So I found Cyber Dish online and gave them a call to come out and troubleshoot the problem. Chris came out, charged me $200, added an amplifier and moved the antenna around a bit in my attic (didn't actually mount the antenna, just laid it down against something, so it was pointing the desired direction). The signal strength seemed to be good on all of the channels, so I let him go. Then, just a couple of hours later, I started losing several of the channels again. It's arguably worse now than it was. This is all very intermittent. Sometimes they all come in clear, sometimes several go out. And of course, it's worse with the weather is bad. I also see that there is foil backed plywood all through the attic, and everything I read says that this is a huge blocker of digital signals. I reached back out to CyberDish, indicating that i was still seeing reception issues and voiced my concern about the foil backed plywood in the attic. I called Chris today and voiced my concerns. He gave me several things to try to troubleshoot the problem. All good things to try, but all along I'm thinking why after paying $200 is it my responsibility to troubleshoot this stuff. When I brought this point up on the call, that's when things went South. Instead of Chris just offering to come back out and make this right, it just turned into an argument. At one point, he said that it was working when he left. Seriously? He also said that the antenna could be faulty, as if to say that's not his responsibility. And let's see, he said that he's never had this issue with anyone else. OK, what's the point? I'll be happy to give Chris/CyberDish one more chance to make this right, and once this is working as it should, I'll be happy to alter my review. But as it stands, I cannot be more dissatisfied with not only the service, but also the follow-up.

Kudos to Susan who walked me through the process and provided clear information on how they'd install, big into the driveway, etc. For the yard destroyed folks, I get they messed up but the performance and uptime is still good right? For the wifi folks, it sounds like wifi issues not the line. You need gig support equipment. For the router folks, I just got an eero which is what they recommend. If you get a router that can do network monitoring then Ting should be able to fix it unless the line runs through an apartment burrow of gophers. I know that no one really needs a full gig unless you're running an sweatshop mining crypto, but it's does feel better knowing you have a direct fiber line instead of sharing your connection with half the neighborhood.

FYI - Verizon is no longer on Galaxy Drive (where they were for years), they are now next to Freddy's Burgers in the new strip on Retail Drive. Store is brand new and spotless and definitely taking a page from the Apple stores setup and look. Very clean lines and minimal with long tables and bar stools in the middle of the store. Dom and Jaydene (not certain on spelling) both helped us on two different visits - one buying an apple watch and one visit merging accounts and upgrading a phone for my dad. Overall very pleased with service and professionalism - second visit we had a pretty long wait, about 15 minutes as they were very busy but I achieved what I needed to and that was very important. Really feels like Verizon is upping their brand and game!
