We called the next day and was told someone's brother wasn't there. So we came back the next day with all the funds to find out the car was sold. The explanation was that we did not place anything down to hold the car which was never communicated to us. They suggested a different car. Giving them the benefit of the doubt we ended up purchasing that car. Within two weeks the car check engine light came on along with the oil light. The car was stalling out mid drive and the car was making rattling noises. We were told the car engine was under warranty for 30 days and that the car was given a brand new oil change at purchase. I took the car back and they "fixed" the engine and gave it an oil change AGAIN. After another two weeks the car engine light came on again and the car stalled out on the highway while my mom was driving it. I reached back out only to be told I can't call back every time there is an issue with the car. These people do business in bad faith. We were better off keeping the original car. I suggest you do not do business with these people.

I bought a late…read moremodel Honda hybrid from VIPRE, and have had decent luck with it, but the few times I brought it into them, the bill was always near or above $1,000. In one instance, they charged me $1,200 to replace ONE headlight, and they didn't even fix it correctly- I had to bring it back in because the mechanic hadn't replaced the "igniter". The other headlight went out 2 months later, so I took it to a recommended moonlighter mechanic- he fixed the set-up without fuss for $200, and a year later it's still running strong. I really don't think Shamit and crew are intentionally trying to rip customers off, I just think there's a disconnect between the management and the repair side of the business. And, if you get caught up in that "disconnect", it will cost you thousands of dollars. Shamit has never fixed this issue, so beware to the car owner looking to get a repair. Needless to say, my next used car will probably be purchased at VIPRE, but my repairs will be going elsewhere. Three stars: good cars, bad repair service.

I get this impression because of what I see when I'm in the waiting room. Service is scheduled well and there is never a long wait for repairs once you're scheduled. If you have a mechanical emergency, they work with you in a very understanding manner.

The finance manager Mike J. was very nice and made sure I was able to get financing that I needed, although I didn't have top-notch credit history. That's where the positive interaction ends. I purchased the car on a Sunday as is. Because the car came from the Baltimore location and it was after hours, I didn't even think I should test drive the car because I trusted Eastern's not to sell me a car with issues, however that is not the case. As I drove off the lot and hit one bump, the entire bottom of the car rattled. It felt like serious suspension issues, or something under the car. I did let Yanna P know the very next morning. After some back and forth for almost two weeks I was told my extended warranty was active. I was confused because I felt i didn't do anything to the car so what does the extended warranty have to do with it. Nevertheless, I made an appointment and have to pay $189 for the car to be looked at, and it appears I may have to fit the bill for the work that needs to be done if the issue is not covered. DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE AS IS without test driving the car first from Eastern's. I put my trust in a dealership I thought wouldn't sell me a messed up car, but they did. To make matters worse, the transporter who drove the car from the Baltimore location never told Yanna P. about the rattling noise and possible issues before she gave me the keys, or if he did I was never made aware. In the end it appears everyone just wanted a sale with no thought of the consumer experience. Too bad, I was really excited about working with this dealership now that they have a service center, but instead I will try to deter anyone from going there. Definitely would recommend CarMax or Auto Nation since they do a quality check on cars they are reselling.

On June 30, 2026, I traded in my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee, made a $500 down payment, and purchased a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Limited. The sales staff--Will, Elliott, Marcus, Lonnie, and Sam--were courteous and professional throughout the process, which I genuinely appreciated. Unfortunately, the vehicle was another story. Before leaving the dealership, I discovered several issues: a non-working key fob, a third-row seat that wouldn't fold, a blown subwoofer, cosmetic defects, and missing sales paperwork. I was assured these issues would be corrected. Just days later, while traveling with my young son for the Fourth of July holiday, the check engine light came on. A diagnostic at a Jeep dealership revealed an engine misfire, an intake valve issue, corrosion in the key fob, and evidence of rodent activity under the hood. I immediately returned the vehicle because I no longer felt it was safe to drive. Over the next two weeks, I made multiple trips to the dealership, took leave from work, test-drove replacement vehicles, and repeatedly waited for promised follow-up calls that never came. Communication became inconsistent. After such frustrations, I purchased another vehicle from another trusted dealership. Despite being told my contract would be canceled, I attempted to return the loaner vehicle only to find my trade-in had already been sold. I was told to return the next day to speak with someone else. Keep in mind, I have had the loaner for three weeks without a replacement vehicle and my creditor had not been paid or informed. The next day, I called ahead and was told the sale of my trade-in had been canceled. I could pick up my 2018 Jeep, sign the paperwork to cancel my purchase, and receive a refund of my down payment. However, when I arrived, the employee I had spoken with was not there, the person handling refunds had left, and no one seemed to know why I was there. After explaining the situation again, I received my refund, signed the cancellation paperwork, and was given only one of the two keys I had turned in as part of my trade. I declined to sign the key acknowledgment because I was not receiving everything I had surrendered. I was told the person who handled the keys was also not present. Although I eventually got my original vehicle back (without two keys) and my down payment refunded, the time, stress, and inconvenience this process caused were unnecessary. I understand pre-owned vehicles can have normal wear and cosmetic imperfections, but serious mechanical problems, rodent infestation, repeated communication breakdowns, and multiple unnecessary trips to the dealership are unacceptable. While I appreciated the professionalism of several individual employees, the overall experience was frustrating, disorganized, and far below the level of service I expected. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves both its vehicle inspection process and its communication with customers. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend purchasing a vehicle from this dealership.

Got the job done eventually, but the process took way too long…read more I recently ordered a set of four new tires to be installed at Ourisman VW Laurel. What should have been a standard, simple tire installation turned into an incredibly frustrating ordeal. My original appointment was on July 28th. I waited for hours, only to find out the new tires had sidewall damage. While they did waive the labor charge for that initial delay, the situation quickly spiraled. I ended up being without my vehicle for three days due to back-and-forth delays, a second set of defective tires with flat spots, and a severe lack of communication from the service team during those first few days. It was a massive inconvenience. To their credit, they did eventually get it right. Service Manager Mike stepped in, stayed in consistent contact with me while processing the claim with the tire distributor, and finally got the right tires in. When I returned on August 5th, over a week later, for the actual installation, Mike and my service advisor, Gerron Jackson, provided me with a loaner Atlas for the day and made sure everything was balanced and working perfectly. While I appreciate Mike and Gerron fixing the situation in the end, the whole process just took way too long. Waiving the initial labor fee on day one simply doesn't make up for losing access to my vehicle for 72 hours and having to wait an extra week just to get tires installed. Considering the extreme hassle and loss of time, I really expected some sort of additional goodwill gesture, like a couple of complimentary oil changes, to help rebuild my confidence in their service department. Because of how this was handled, I'm still hesitant to bring my vehicle back here for any serious mechanical work.
