Just used this company to winterize my home. Feel very uneasy with experience. First day I called - I was told tech would come out that day for free estimate. Tech came next day without calling - and informed me that his visit would be 149 !! What happened to estimate? Then I decide to use them o bleed system - was without heat. My receipt says 3rd floor bleed - I pay 275 only to have to call next day to have tech out due to no heat from upstairs base board. Tech says I will bleed other lines - what exactly did I pay for day before??? Why wouldn't he have done a complete bleed if that is what I paid for?!!!! The only reason this company receives one star from me is because they had one guy (Ali) working at our house who was pleasant to work with. We live in an old house and switched our steam heat over to forced hot air/AC. Our boiler died in the middle of the winter. All Week provided the cheapest quote so we decided to go with them. Big mistake. The manager, Mike, was rude to both my husband and myself and kept trying to get more money from us, even though we signed a contract with him in the beginning stating how much we would owe at the end. Their workers broke several small things in our house and never said anything about it, just leaving it broken. Not until we confronted them about it did they (finally) apologize and say that someone would fix it. (Btw, no one has fixed it yet) Save yourself the headache and go with someone else. The job took like 4-5 days unnecessarily; and they charged me $8,000.00 The only one that work the best was Jake. He fixed the mistakes of the previous crew. They also left a slew of wet greasy dirt from the AC in a can with no liner for me to clean up. They do not carry, nor do they ask for a garbage bag. The floor have droppings of plumbers putty that they step on all over the floor. THE COMPANY: Do not hire them.Run from them. The prices are EXTREMELY HIGH, however, they tell you on the phone one price (7,000 but with discount around $6,000 or so) and they rise it telling you is the taxes, there is no 10% discount, FALSE advertising. and you will never see an itemized bill. The labor may be more but at least they know what they are doing. This company said it would cost 1800 to fix a unit and then 3600 to install another unit. This is the worst service I have ever received. Plumber couldn't do the job and left my shower in worse condition than when he came. In fact, he left my apartment to go get his tools and move his car, but never returned. In the middle of winter, my Mom's boiler stopped working. Because she's 80, a widow and naive, and because they have "these big ads right on the phone book" she contacted "All Week Plumbing" and contracted with them to replace her boiler. Here is my opinion. STAY AWAY from All Week Plumbing. They were required to get a permit from the town my Mom lives in (Union County). The boiler runs fine but the town failed the job because "All Week" never installed a chimney liner. In the Northern states and with the high efficiency equipment now installed, if you have what they call a "cold" chimney (3 exposed sides), it needs a liner. It's even in the installation manual from the manufacturer. In any event, these people quoted the job, installed the boiler and refused, once the town failed the job, to install a chimney liner, even though it's a requirement to pass inspection. Ozzy...the office manager. I just got off the phone with this rather nasty man. During conversations he's had with my Mom, he's asked if she would want him to come and remove the boiler. That sure felt like extortion to me when my Mom told me about it. He/they refuse to install the chimney liner and this is a $1,200-$1,400 extra cost that Mom just wasn't even aware of. They sent some other outfit to Mom's house who quoted her that price. Ozzy/the owner, offered $300.00 towards the job. Really! Wow, thanks guys! They are real wise guys...exploit the ignorance of the elderly. Well, live and learn. May All Week Plumbing reap what they sow. I find it strange that this is their business model. Be warned, in New Jersey, if you replace your furnace or boiler and have a chimney with 3 exposed sides, called a "cold" chimney, you are required to have a chimney liner. Make sure you get this in your contract with whomever you do business with. Otherwise, your town will not pass the job and the onus seems to fall on the homeowner to bare the additional (and perhaps unexpected) cost. read more

Last week I had a clog in my kitchen sink. They came, snaked the drain for a few minutes and were done. The water went down the drain but they also did not pull out whatever was clogging the pipe. Two days later the drain started to slowly drain the water and it got slower and slower every day until it became clogged up completely again. So I called them today that my drain is still clogged. I got their receptionist on the phone and explained things clearly to her. I told her I had your business come to unclog a drain in my kitchen. Two days later the water started draining very slowly and now it is completely clogged again. I need someone to fix the work that was supposed to be done last week. She said they could send someone out to take a look at it. I asked her are they going to charge me again because they didn't clear the drain the last time. (Keep in mind that nothing was ever pulled out of the clogged pipe, it was just snaked and the water started to go down.) I was put on hold 2-3 times while she goes to check. Each time she returned after a minute on hold she replied they could send someone over to take a look at it. But she never answered if they were going to charge me for this visit. So I asked her again are they going to charge me for this visit because they did not do their job last time. This happened every time I was put on hold with her. After the 2-3 times she put me on hold she put this guy on the phone, who never identified himself, who was very rude right off the bat. I had to reexplain the situation to him. He said he will send someone out to "make me happy". Again they were skirting around answering whether they were going to charge me again for paid services not rendered. So I asked him are you guys going to charge me again to fix something you were supposed to have fixed last week. He then started yelling at me "you telling me you want me to send someone over there and you arn't going to pay for it?" Why would I pay them again to do something that should have been done right to begin with. I do not know who that guy was on the phone but I'd have to assume he represented their office management. Whoever he was he is a poor representation of the company and I am sorry my family ever did business with them. The actual workers seemed nice but seemed more concerned with getting in and out. He also pointed out a leaking pipe that we were unaware of. While the price was a premium due to the emergency nature of the work needed, the management of this company did give us a discount and was very reasonable to deal with. Called on a Sunday. Clogged sewer line. It was in a position where the technician said he had to do "a lot of work." Estimate $745. He was done in less than 45 minutes. Price $745, because that was the estimate. Called the office, spoke to the person answering the phone. She heard what I said, said they were a flat rate company, and then said I could speak to a manager. Manager got on the phone, I said hi, I just had a... He cut me off and said "I heard your story already and I don't want to hear about it again. Did anyone force you to agree to have the work done?" It went downhill from there. Scam artists! I called this company this morning because I had a horrendous odor coming from my toilet. (No, toilet did not need to be flushed.) The nice lady who answered the phone told me that there would be a $65 fee for the service call if they didn't do the repairs. The guy comes out and the first thing he tells me is that the new vinyl floor I had put down last week isn't the right floor. I should have used tiles and that is why my toilet is leaking. I explained that there is no leak, just the odor. He lifted the toilet and showed me the opening where the drain pipe is. He said it was rotted out and I have a leak and he needs to look at the pipes under the floor. I already have a hole in the first floor ceiling from a leak from the sink a few weeks ago. I gave him a flashlight and a ladder so he could look up at the pipes. Even though everything was bone dry, he still said that the old pipes leaking and need to be replaced. I had to leave and left my father in the house with him. I came back about 30 mts later, and my father tells me he got a price for $1275 to replace the pipes. He also paid $275 (+tax) for today's visit. If I use this company, that charge with be deducted from the bill. Now I was fuming. I was told $65 for the visit. If I was going to be charged a fee for the estimate, someone should have stated that. I called the owner and he did a conference call with the worker. The worker says the fee is for "all the work he did." All he did was lift the toilet up and then look up at the pipes. I even emptied the water out of the bowl before he got here! He didn't even flush the toilet. The owner let the employee tell me repeatedly the the charge was for all the work he did. Unless we hired them to do all of the work, we were out the $275. If I was going to be charged a fee for the estimate, someone should have stated that. THEN, I go upstairs. The toilet was sitting in the middle of the bathroom floor AND, I also had a new leak where the shut-off valve is. There was no way I would hire this company. So, I called another plumber. The other plumber came within the hour. He flushed the toilet several times and looked at the pipes. Yes, they are very old pipes and they will need to be changed at some point. But there was no leaking water and everything was dry. The problem was the seal was cracked under the toilet and toilet wasn't totally flush to the floor. I didn't even realize this at the time, but now the flange was broken too! When the worker picked up the toilet, he also pulled up the flange and now that was cracked. And, the shut-off valve behind wouldn't turn and that was leaking. I wound up paying $400 for a new flange, a new seal and to replace the shutoff valve to a competent plumber. If you are going to call them, be prepared to get ripped off and make sure you have another plumber on standby! read more

Stay away from this company. You may get a cheaper quote comparing to other plumbers but you will regret. I have hot water heater replaced by them, my utility room is very small so I asked for a particular brand (AOSmith) and a particular model (ENT/PNT 50) otherwise it won't fit. On the day they came to give me an estimate, there was no measurement at all, the only thing this plumber cares is to collect his deposit. To make sure I get the right model I even talked with his manager and they told me I will get it. I actually get an OK price for replacing a main valve and the heater. On the day they came to install, - The plumber unloaded a much cheaper model and told me that I asked for it. And "THEY ARE ALL THE SAME". I didn't have time to switch to another plumber so I figured the lower quote comes from the cheaper model. And let them do the work. It turns out I really should have sent them away and reject the service. - When they replace the main valve. The plumber did not have the right size of valve... The building management asked me why a 15 minutes work took so long and I had to tell them that my plumber headed to HD to buy valve.. - When they come back to install the heater. Apparently they did not care at all about the size concern I raised multiple times. The new heater is thicker hence does not fit into my utility room. The plumber just squeeze it in as much as he can and bent the inbound/outbound water pipe to connect to the heater. And then he told me it is done, left with all the pipes bent or twisted. I'm not sure about the other plumbing they provided. But if you are looking to replace a water heater. Stay away form this company. Full of lies. read more

Huge mistake going with this company. We were looking to have our heating system checked prior to winter and we regret not going with anyone else. First they had to reschedule the appointment, not a big deal. Then they were supposed to come the following Friday between 3 and 6. 6 rolls around and still a no show so I call them. The rep said they will literally be there any second. It was now 6:30 and I had had it. Called them up to cancel the appointment and explained my experience to the rep. No apology at all. So 7:00 comes and little do you know, they're knocking on my door, even after I cancelled. I just let them do the work. Had no consideration for our home and didn't take their shoes off. Made a huge mess. They were here about an hour which wasn't too bad. What really angered me was when they told me the cost. I had printed a coupon from their website for the cost normally being $150, I could get the 18 point inspection for $59. The tech basically fed me some BS excuse and now I know that coupon is very deceiving and they use it to sucker you into it. The screw you after the work is performed. Since the work had been done I just let it go because it was now 8. Will NEVER use them again and frankly they should not be in business. The techs that showed up to my home were extremely shady. They sent out a guy who check over my gas furnace and told me that the heat exchanger was corroded and that the heat limit switch kept the furnace from going on. My furnace is only eight years old and I thought I was being hosed so I called a friend from New Jersey Natural Gas who sent over a tech. That tech told me that the flame detector was dirty. I called All Week out of desperation after my heat died on the first really cold night this winter, and the company that had been out to "fix" it at least 4 times in the past does not have evening hours. I called around 7:30 pm on a weeknight. The woman that answered the phone was very helpful and promised I'd hear back within an hour. Not even 30 minutes later, Alex called and was at my condo shortly thereafter. He quickly identified the problem, but needed to get a part, so he came back the next day at a time that was convenient for me. I used this company to install a new boiler -- they did a good job on the actual installation, but their customer service SUCKS! AND I caught the worker in a bold-faced LIE! After we agreed to a set price they had the nerve to charge EXTRA for removal of the old boiler. They told me "We don't take personal checks", meanwhile the receptionist told me they DO. ALSO, when I was going to pay them, the workers actually FOLLOWED ME TO THE BANK to get their payment! The bank is literally a 3 min. drive down the road! I question their integrity, level of professionalism, and ethics. They first came to look at our system on June 16, 2014 as a recommendation from our realtor since the inspection report for our potential buyer indicated the HVAC may have needed to be services as the motor was loud. The technician Abe came out and as he wrote on the invoice our "A/C and Furnace System found in the unit in excellent condition." We mentioned to Abe the inspector's concern about the HVAC being loud and he said they are all like that in our building. We told him (and the buyer) it had been like that since we bought the condo in 2011 but it always worked fine. We scanned and emailed the invoice/ report from All Week to the buyer's side and they were satisfied so we moved forward with the closing of our apartment. Upon final walk through which was August 11 2014, they buyer complained that the HVAC was still too loud. We had moved out of the apartment mid-July to Canada (approximately a month after their initial excellent report) with everything working perfectly. At the 11th hour the buyer insisted the system was still loud and needed to be looked at again. We complied and contacted All Week again to confirm their initial findings. All Week went out again to look at the system with the buyer there and this time indicated the whole motor needed to be fully replaced (in order close, we had to replace the motor at our expense). My husband called All Week to discuss with them the inconsistent reports- since we had moved out less than a month earlier from their first report and the unit was not in use for another 3 weeks after that. After speaking with a representative from All Week, she passed the phone to who we believe was the owner, who immediately started shouting, became belligerent and hung up the phone on my husband. The aggressive and cantankerous owner did not feel he warranted an explanation to my husband and only yelled at him "It's broken now!" Selling your home and moving to a different country is isn't easy, but was a piece of cake compared to dealing with simple minded, ignorant, insipid people who consider themselves to be professionals. WARNING!!! WARNING!!! Hands down the WORST experience I have had customer service wise. I honestly never even write reviews but I feel obligated to warn others. They came 3 hours after the initial appointment window (Tuesday)then charged me $80 for the estimate even though the website clearly states free estimates. They also did not honor coupons on their website as they said it only applies to original prices. I still decided to go with them as I did not want my tenants to be without heat. They not only did not finish the job the first day(Wednesday) after showing up 2 hours late and taking over an hour lunch but they left my tenants without heat or water claiming there was a part that they needed and couldn't get until the next day. It was 5:30pm EST and Home Depot was less than a mile away an they were open until 10pm EST. The next day they showed up 2 hours late. They finished the job(so I thought) and charged me a addition $481 for replacing a 3 foot plastic water line. After they left, with in a few hours l had the same issue again. The utility company came out to inspect the job and told me that they had not completed the work, they were suppose to replace all of the pipes not half (even says that all pipes will be replaced on my receipt), they also were suppose to get permits from the city, they used some of the wrong material and they undersized the pipes that they installed. To add insult to injury, one of the guys used a really nice chair we had stored in the basement as a step latter, now the chair has muddy boot prints on it. Since I paid I want them to complete the rest of work. I have a contract in writing that states that I have a two year warranty on the work but they are not returning my calls or emails. Horrible. All of the negative reviews I've read are spot-on. Had an issue with our garbage disposal. It was making an awful noise, so I thought maybe its time was up. Just to be sure, I figured I'd call in a pro to officially diagnose the issue. Not sure how I wound up with this company, but...what a mistake! Before he arrived, I did some more inspecting of the disposal unit and found a screw had fallen in. I plucked it out and everything seemed fine, but I kept the appointment just to be sure. What a waste of time and money!!! The guy showed up, barely spoke a lick of English, looked at it for 30 seconds. His diagnoses? "You need a new one." That's about all I could understand. I had more questions; he had zero answers....that I could understand anyway. He DID tell me installation for a new garbage disposal (which I would purchase) would cost $425.00!! Seriously?? I'd gotten quotes at less than half that from other places like Roto-Rooter. And meanwhile, the garbage disposal is working fine. No issues since I found that wayward screw. And even if it does go belly-up in the near future, this is the LAST company I'd call to replace it. Never again. Lesson learned. read more

Do not use them. This review is NOT based on a single bad experience. I've used them for years, for heating, air conditioning and other smaller jobs. I've always had some doubts, but my last experience clinched it, and I will NEVER use them again. They manipulate your situation to get as much money out of you as possible. Their web site lists all the best equipment, but what you get is always second rate. They advertise Free Estimates.... but they always charge a min of $75 which can be applied to the job ONLY if you approve the work at the time of the estimate. If you get other estimates and call them back a few days later the $75 is NOT applied. They say they come on time, they promised 9am, they came at 11:30. They say "Shoe covers in every truck", they may be in the truck, but they are NOT on the repairman's feet! In the most recent experience, I had discolored water. The guy came, replaced 6 inches of corroded copper pipe and drained the water heater. Made a mess of both my showers dumping the dirty water with no cleanup. That cost me $475. THAT ALSO BROKE THE WATER HEATER! They replaced the water heater the next day. Broke the equipment area door and scratched the new unit in three places. They said the chimney vent need to be upgraded to meet building code, but I learned that only applies to new construction and it was NOT needed. Total that day was another $1200. No break on price and no apologies for breaking the water heater in the first place. So a new water heater cost me a total of $1675. JUST OUTRAGOUS! Finally, thank goodness we put down drop cloths ourselves because taking the old unit out of the home made a hell of a mess. Save yourself a lot of time, aggravation AND MONEY....
