Stay away! Stay far, far away! Sloppy, unprofessional work and a company that doesn't stand behind it! There should be a 0 stars option for companies like this! Shortly after I bought my house, the original water heater began to leak from the bottom. It was about 20 years old so that was to be expected. I called All Week and they came and replaced it. The installation didn't appear as clean and professional as I would expect but I'm not a plumber so I figured what do I know. Well fast forward about 4-5 years and the connection on the cold water side corroded to the point that it sprung a leak, partially flooding my finished basement. It was obviously apparent that the "plumber" made a poor and sloppy connection which caused the corrosion of the pipe to the point of failure in only a few years. I called All Week again, expecting them to at the very least warranty the hot water heater. A different "plumber" came and told me that the water heater wasn't bad, but the pipe going into it was, and therefor the water heater needed to be replaced. What?! It's not bad yet it needs to be replaced?! Isn't the intake pipe part of the water heater?! I pointed out that it was their installation that caused the corrosion and subsequent failure so the least they could do was warranty the heater which was rotted at its cold water intake pipe. The company refused to do anything but install another at regular price. Yes, I must be a glutton for punishment because allowed these second rate hacks to install another. I was pressed for time and went against my better judgement. This "plumber" had a sloppier install that the first! Well guess what?! Fast forward another 4 years or so and not only did the pipe rot out again, but it was so corroded that the female connector popped right off the male! The threads were totally rotted away! As you can imagine, the flooding caused by the free flowing water was disastrous and ruined my carpeting, drywall and many items in our finished basement. I was livid! I called All Week, explained the current issue, the fact that this was the second time this occurred due to their incompetence and that I wanted someone to come and immediately replace the water heater PROPERLY at no charge whatsoever. Later that evening a yet a different "plumber" arrived and I explained everything to him. He looked at the water heater (mind you, this time it was rotted even worse than the first where they said it had to be replaced) and stated that he could try and replace the rotted pipe leading into the water heater and the connector for $375. I advised that I wouldn't pay another dime and that I wanted it warrantied as it was their incompetence that caused both failures and now my man cave was ruined as well! The "plumber" had an attitude and stated that they only warranty labor for 30 days. Well seeing what kind of work they do, that is no surprise. Matter of fact, I'm surprised it is even that long! I pointed out that metal takes years to corrode and the total failure of the connection within 4 years or so is obviously indicative of a faulty installation.....yet again. He continued to be defensive and rude, at which point I decided it was best to not have them ever touch anything in my home again. A friend recommended another plumber who came and replaced the water heater the next day. WOW, what a difference an actual professional plumber can make to highlight just what kind of unskilled hacks you have had doing your work previously! The new plumber's installation was how I expected work to be from the beginning. Clean, neat, no excess solder as well as corrections that the prior installation lacked which were apparently code violations. He saw the old water heater and damage and stated it was unequivocally a faulty installation that caused the failure. He also stated that the water heater should have been warrantied and it could have easily been done. Just confirmation of what I already suspected, that All Week plumbing is a second rate company with unskilled and unprofessional employees who care about nothing but the $! Please don't be fooled and make the same mistake I did! I'd hate to see anyone go through a similar experience and it looks like several already have by the other reviews! read more
